Leaving for my parties in a bit. I did CTX kickbox and the planks. Didn't feel like trying to learn all of Amy's choreography today. Eats will be good! I may succumb to a drink though-too much family;)

Thanks for all of the good wishes. I know it will get better but it is just not knowing how things will end up that is frustrating. I had to get up early to get on conference call for my implemenation and I was exhausted all day so I didn't do much. My workout was DM Cardio followed by 4DS BC Cardio. I ate too much at dinner last night and the workout helped to get rid of the bloat.

Kate, ^5 on the race time. I wish my leg would heal so I could run again.
Patti, I will friend you on FB too.
Morris, your dinner sounds yummy especially the balsamic reduction. I need to get more creative with my veggies.
Robin, everyone wants something for nothing. I am glad you got rid of some stuff today.

Colleen Sorry and you are right it is very stressful not knowing. Funny you said that your were tired but did DM and 4ds. I think that things will work out just fine.

so....update on the race...
both girls did the kids 1mile....Isabel was a powerhouse! That girl dominated that run! I was so proud! She blew by Gina and kept on going! All this from my unsure worried little bean! And she came in 2nd in her age group for the dash. I was the proudest mama there!

Day is good. Eats are decent but snacky. At least it was snacky on healthy stuff :confused:

How's vaca prep Katie????

Morris, I would LOVE my girls to get into running! Isabel seems to be a natural at it. there's another 5k locally in 2 weeks. Mike is going to run it....he's never run before but I think he's getting the itch to try it from watching me & Laura. I'll walk it with the girls....but I know Isabel is going to want to run it. Wish I could run it with her but theres no one to watch Julia. The race starts at 7:30am. Maybe somethign will work out.
Glad you had a great day and clean eating.

I just ate more than a few macadamia nuts and some white chips. oops.
 
Katie - Don't spend too much time on your laptop on vacation, lol! Funny how we're so addicted to technology huh?

Kate - Awesome, awesome, awesome time on the run! And WTG Isabel! Just like her mommy, a natural athlete! So did you ever post your pancake recipe. I was thinking about it last night, lol. Macadamia nuts are actually really good for your heart.

Colleen - So sorry about the work issues. I hope everything works itself out. That is quite stressful for sure.

Patti - I broke my pact. How pathetic am I? We were at the potluck this morning and there was nothing to eat that wasn't bad. I would have skipped everything, but I had half a toast and water and needed to rush off to ballet. I took small portions though and didn't eat a lot. I haven't eaten dinner yet though. I'll make up for it.

Hi Angie!

I am royally irritated with family right now, but don't want to get into it. Grr...just saying I can't wait for all this to be over. Anyway, I listened to you all and took a rest day yday and went running today instead. I'm so glad I did listen because I had a great run. Ran 4 miles and was able to cover a longer distance and run much quicker. I hope that helped burn off the junk I ate today. Note to self, bring own food at the next football/cheerleading potluck or eat before. The food there was all bad, bad, bad. Lots of fried stuff and high carb. I got six wos in this week and I can't remember the last time I did that. Seriously, I usually get five and sometimes four depending on my days. I think now that P is getting older, it is getting easier. My wos are no longer interrupted by feedings or crying bouts. Really nice. Brunch tomorrow at a buffet, but not too worried since I've been there and the buffet has a lot of healthy options. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

oh lisa, i am sos orry for fd (family drama). that just really bites. i hope things get better soon. sounds like you had a great run, and i am glad for that. also sounds like your portions were in check!

what a difference a day m akes. all my water weight was gone today, and i felt awesome on my long run - just over 15 miles. i am ready to have a great day. i am sad dh is leaving tomorrow, but i am determined to stay positive, take care of my guys, and be nicer when he comes back, lol. anyways, showery wether here today, but we will get out anyways. bbiab
 
Morning!

Well, yesterday was a semi-bust:( The first party was fine-they had no apps(?) so I just had dinner-chicken, some Yugo salad, and some potatoes, fruit, and drank lots of water. The second party was my undoing-they had pirate booty (I could feel myself swelling as I inhaled it:eek:) and all kinds of treats-I had way too much:( I feel gross this morning. Thank goodness we have no parties in the near future! The girls are supposed to march in a local parade this afternoon to promote the dance studio-they have to be at drop off by 11 am-and right now it's sprinkling. Hope it stops! I have a circuit on tap for today-either HSC, LIC or Hardcore Extreme since the others are still out on loan. HE should probabaly be my choice to torch the most calories. And I need food!

Katie, have a safe and fun trip!

Lisa, I broke the pact, too!:( I have no willpower AT ALL. Hope the fd resolves itself-we've all had our share here so feel free to vent. Glad you got a great workout in!

Kate, I want Darrin to run with us in September-but then there'll be noone to keep an eye on the girls. Darrin beat my time without ever training and being a smoker to boot-jerk!

Robin, I wore an aqua tank top, denim pencil skirt, brown peep toe wedges and a scarf:)

Morris, awesome run! You should do a marathon! Enjoy the day with your fellas:)
 
Half way there! Just called the realty company and our house is ready whenever we are! I should have my toes in the sand and a beer in my hand by shortly after noon!
 
Morning! I did ME lower body premix (oh the leg presses!!!) and then LIC upper body circuit. It took forever but was fun. I like the shoulder burn I get in LIC. J is down there now doing his meso 2 chest/shoulders/tri workout. I have one more week on this June rotation and then I was thinking of doing Cathe's January 09 rotation. Or I need to see what she does with July.

Katie: Oh my, that sounds awesome! Oh I am green with envy! You enjoy girl. :)

Klaudia / Lisa: Eh, it could be worse. You are both back on track and feeling focused. Parties are hard- I usually stumble too. And Lisa, if you're at a place where ick food is your only option, you shouldn't have to starve. You kept it to small portions so it's all good. :) I had a few sips of that lemonade smoothie so I technically didn't keep the pact either, but I think we've all done OK. Today will be CLEAN for us all!!!

Colleen: I am impressed that you did anything else after DM! That one wears me out- a few months ago I did the premix where you do each cardio drill twice and thought I might keel over. :)

Morris: What a run! You should do a marathon, I agree. I love your positive vibe today with your week ahead.

hi pattie - great wo today! i love me lower bbody premix, though i do not do it much these days. lic ub is good - try it with bm 2 ub:eek: i don't think i will ever do a marathon. i don't like running with people. i did not see a single soul out this am. of course, i had finished my run by 6:45am, so i guess most people are still in bed:p hard to find time to go more than 15 or 16 miles, you know?

well, dh had to go into work for a bit:( hope my boys nap soon, and i may do pub while watching something mindless on tv. eats are good but a bit hi in cals i think. maybe i nbeeded it to refuel. but, i am not too snacky, so that is good. old navy is having 10% off for military this week jul 1-4, so i may have to check it out. i need more tops - since my chest is basically gone (unless i am wearing my miracle bra), my shirts are all too lose.

anyone use cathe's new bands? if so, what wo's do you use them with? and have you looked at the mini dvd that came with them?

I've just spent 1 hour redoing my resume. I was trying to fix it up but it kept coming out 2 pages. I ended up retyping my old one. Yesterday I meet 2 nurses and got some ideas of how I can get a job. It's not what you know is who.:cool:

Katie bring back some warm water and white sand for me.

Kate maybe you can buy one of those strollers that runners use. I think it would be great for you and your girls to run together.

Lisa that's great 6 workouts. Yes BYOBB...bring your own brown bag.

Morris doesn't it feel wonderful when water weight is gone. It's like the first day after a stomach virus. The mini dVD is not really a workout it's just show you how to make a workout on your own. I have the red cord, not the stretchy band.

Klaudia I know you looked cute. Parties can really throw you off. It's a good thing we work out.

Patti congrat on almost finishing a rotation. It's hard for me to finish one. I'm not sure how I finished STS:confused:

I'm going to do some cardio. Maybe a old Firm.

Morris, chris does allllllllll the driving! Fine by me! And Collin super excited - LOVES the beach - he has already soaked his clothes after jumping/falling in the ocean. He took a shower outside which he found to be awesome too!

Sorry if this is sounding braggy - I just adore the beach!

Morris, I use cathe's new bands with all of her workouts. I guess I should say I just use the medium one since I haven't worked up to the hard one yet.
Patti, DM double cardio is a killer but I overate on Friday night so I think that is why I had the energy to keep going.
Klaudia, hope HE torched the calories and the rain held off.
Robin, good luck on the job search.
Lisa, glad the rest day helped. Hope the run helped with the family issues too.
Kate, that's great about Isabel! You have a marathon runner in the making.

Today I did house stuff - just little things that have been on my todo list but I haven't done them yet. Eats today were okay. I did not workout today because I was tired and I wanted to get things done. I am hoping to really clean it up tomorrow and get back on track. I don't think I am really tired - just unmotivated. Off to grill some pork tenderloin for dinner!
