Morning girls,

Got up and did Low Max this am but just combos 1-4 which was plenty. That workout is tough! I'm still following that intermediate rotation and it looks like I need it. :) It was really humid this AM and I was having a hard time catching my breath! 406 calories later...

Eats have been pretty good here. I'm hanging in there. I think it's good for me to track my calories/food intake daily b/c it really gives me a good picture of what I'm putting into my mouth. Sometimes I don't know how accurate my calorie count is but I figure it's a start. I'm not going to weigh myself this week b/c it's TTOM and I just don't figure it's worth it. My body is less squishy overall though so hopefully at least something's happening.

Gotta get the girls' hair done and get them off to school. Prob will be another relaxing morning around here. Do some french, bible time, finish up laundry.

It was a rough start to the day. Cubs lost 8 straight and I hear divorce for Jon&Kate+8! So sad!

Hope you all have great days!

Kate, keep those eats clean!

Katie, get that last STS disc done!!!

Anne, sounds like a great day! (((HUGS))) on the tears!

Morris, good job for being honest. Sometimes it's just the best way to deal with things - even though it may hurt. What's the word on the house?

Klaudia, that kb class sounds fun!!

Robin, your summer plan sounds like a good one. How old are your kids? What are their names?

Good night Lisa! :) Hope you had a good day!

Colleen, how's the resume coming? Any thoughts on where you might apply?

OK... bbl.

Mornin' Angie!! ^5 on another AM workout!!

I am up after a whopping 5.5 hours of sleep (it was my anniversary;)) so I am struggling a bit. Gotta get that last STS disk done, though!

Chris and I had a nice day yesterday. With the business of the party, we hadn't really planned anything for yesterday. So at the last night, we hoped in the car and headed down to a vineyard about 40 miles away and did some wine tasting. Then I surprised Chris with a picnic blanket and two slices of wedding cake. I posted these on FB but for those who don't use FB...

Angie, WTG on LowMax! That ones a burner!!
Toss that scale! THe only weight you should be concerned withis the one you're lifitng!:D
I've been thinkinh abt keeping track of cals....but homemade meals would be so hard to keep track of! I know you can figure it out w/ online stuff for recipes but it seems so time-consuming!

Katie, What a nice day you had! Love your pics! You guys are cute in your sunglasses!:D Babysitter for Collin? Our wedding cake was nasty freezer burned!

Did CS Lower body & abs. Felt good. Need to get movin.....2 weeks left of school!!! Hurray!!!!

I WILL EAT CLEAN TODAY!!! Goodbye belly!

katie, what a nice anniversary. the pics are lovely!

kate, no belly on you, girl! stay motivated today.

angie, wtg on the wo. i am with kate - toss the scale for a bit.

i will be back with more personals in a bit - must get going with my day!

morris, glad you had a good run! our fingers are crossed too! hope you have a great day!

wheat chex & a banana for breakfast. yum.

we missed the bus! was feeding julia and lost track of time. needless to say, gina is very excited!:D

Katie those kitties were so cute y-day posts. I saved one of the pics for my screen saver. Nice pics today too.

Klaudia 30#kb no wonder you are sore. I'm up to 20# for most stuff...need to buy 25#...but still use a 17# for one arm swings...I'm such a chicken. Do they make you w/o with no shoes kbell class?

Angie my kids: Jazlyn is 14 will be 15 in Sept and Cameron is 12...13 in Nov. I've been counting cal also and it's good thing b/c sometimes I forget how much 1 serving really is.

divorce for Jon&Kate+8 that is sad and I really feel sorry for the kids. Some of these reality shows go to far and it makes me wonder if the pressure of the show doesn't lead to a early divorce.

Kate I love that CS also.

Morris great run today.

Off to do w/o Tracey Strike Zone...yes I finally brought it.

Morning!

Today starts my last week of STS! Chest/Back are on tap and maybe some abs since I didn't do them-or the walk-yesterday. And we have dance this afternoon and a trip to the grocery store that I put off.

Angie, I think the Low Max premixes are great. I'll probably do 4-7 this week:) Sorry about the Cubs. The Tigers have been doing pretty good, I must say:)

Katie, great pics! Perfect way to spend your anniversary:) My uncle made us another cake for our 1st anniversary:)

Kate, we have 9 full days and 2 1/2 days left with 2 picnics and a trip to the farm in there! Love your attitude about the scale!

Morris, way to run!

Robin, my back is still tight. I really want some kb dvds to do at home but the cost is deterring me. Maybe when I start babysitting. I bet you can go heavier for sure-especially after doing STS! He lets us wear shoes but no gloves. Thank goodness there's chalk! And I need to get some wrist bands.

Hi Anne, Colleen, Lisa!

b-cereal, fruit
s-almonds
l-leftover turkey burger, carrots?
s-?
d-broiled pork chops, steamed broccoli, sweet potato

bbiab...

Quick drive by for accountability purposes--I did get up and run 3.07 miles this morning. It felt pretty good. I revised my training plan for this week, I'm going to do 4 miles again later in the week (either Thursday or Friday) and then do 3.5, 3.5, and 5 miles next week. That will give me 11 miles this week, 12 miles next week. A nice, gradual increase and it will catch me up on my training plan.

Lots of meetings today, I'll bbl for personals, I promise!

anne

robin, what did you think of sz? i do jumping jaks during the breaks. the cueing isnt too stellar but i think if i did it more that wouldnt be an issue

klaudia, as tempted as i am w/ kbells ive been thiking up my summer rotation and sts again in sept...not sure where iid put them in!
im less emotionl w/o the scale. im feeling lean today...going w/ that!
our school doesnt do 1/2 days.
good luck w/ sts tonight. i loved that wo!

anne, great plan on your runs! hope work goes by fast today!

clean eats, girls! i am MOTIVATED!

w/o done Tracey strike zone is fun, easy and made me sweat like a pig :) the only thing I don't like is the strange camera angles and sometime Tracey was out of breath and she lost her form but the guy is good.

Anne good training goals.

Klaudia yay last week sts.:D That's funny because I've been wearing gloves ever since I've started doing kbells. It wasn't until I read AmyBento forum that we are not suppose to wear them. K-bells DVD...the good advanced ones costs a lot of money ($50). The wrist bands that I use is the tennis bands there are about 4 inches long and nice and thick.

ROBIN, I saw that article too....a good one!
And yes, Josef has great, um, form!

tons of errands done w/ the girls. Clean lunch. J's napping. Isabel and I are doing "paperwork", aka her thank-you notes!:D

Thanks for the article link, Robin. I'll check it out. Great work out today!

Kate, what's you have for lunch? Was it clean and tidy?

Klaudia, congrats on your last week of STS. You must be so excited!

Katie, great pics! I'm glad your anniversary was nice.

Morris, 10 miles this morning? You're my hero. ;-)

Angie, how's dinner? Did the girls have a good day at school?

Hi Colleen and Lisa!

I only have 2 days for weights this week. What do you guys think? 2 days of total body or one each of upper and lower? I can't decide. I just love PushPull, even though it's not as tough as some other work outs. I could also do the 56 timesaver version of MuscleMax. Or, I can do PUB up only and B&G, the standing work and abs. Guide me, oh great ones!

anne

Hey Anne! I am very excited to be almost done! I can't believe I stuck with it the whole 3 months! As for your workouts, I would go for 2 total body ones. Have you ever tried the PUB/PLB total body premix? It's pyramid up only and runs around an hour. Maybe do that and either PP or MM?

Robin, they are pricey! I'm hoping to get one and 1-2 kb to start. We'll see:) I need to do some persuading;)

Kate, I'd love to do a summer kb rotation-doing them 3x's/week with some 5k training for cardio and go back to STS in the fall. Good job on the eats!

hi everyone!

robin, thanks for the link (as i do not even know how to use fb:eek:). another good reason to put away the scale. love your daughter's name!

klaud, you are strong! congrats on being at the end of sts. enjoy your wo's today.

anne, good plan with the training. i vote 2 days total body.

kate, good luck with all your errands.

hi coleen, hi lisa.

off to put baby to bed and hit the basement!

Anne, Lunch was steak, red peppers, red onions, and mushrooms. ANd grapes. SO GOOD!
WO's - depends how far they're spaced apart. If you have to do them close together I'd vote UB/LB slpit. If you have a few days in between go total body - you metabolism will be reved higher working LB 2x.

Klaudia, Your summer rotation sounds gret!

morris, I hope the boys sleep well so you can get all your WO in!

-
Thank you's are done....off to the trampoline!

Hey girls,

Quick check-in. Getting ready to put the girls to bed. Ryan and I are having "date" dinner which does not include any clean or tidy food but nothing ridiculous either. Have no idea how to figure calories for it... will guess probably too high! :)

I prob won't be back tonight. See you in the AM for my early WO!

Angie enjoy date night

Anne 2 full body w/o is a good idea.

Klaudia good idea with summer rotation. I'm planning to do kbells 2 times per week and one full body w/o like MM or ME. I'm planning on taking off 2 days per week but I'll see how my eats goes.
