Morning clean & tidy girls,

Sorry I didn't come around all weekend. Saturday I was feeling pretty crummy with that tummy bug whatever it was. And then yesterday was family day. So, no WO for me on Sat, I'll have to tack it on to the end of the 60 days cuz I'll be so annoyed if I miss one! :)

I'm so excited that so many of you are taking the insanity plunge. I can't wiat to hear what you think of it. This morning was Max Cardio Conditioning. I have to say that I honestly think this is the "easiest" of ALL the workouts. I can actually get through it without dying. Colleen, thoughts? Anyway, it was a good way to start after not feeling so well.

Katie, congrats on your 9 mile run y'day! What did you cheat with?

Kate, yay for insanity and yay for J and her steps! No more cc cookies girl!

Nina, you are sounding good! You made me want to do imax 3! It's in FF's rotation that I'm going to do so it's going to happen sooner than later. What kind of church are you used to? I've learned with all of our moves that there is no such thing as the perfect church.

Robin, I agree with Colleen, I think combining STS with insanity would be difficult. Asking for an injury! How is your job treating you? Are you going to stick with it or find something new?

Klaudia, how was your weekend? Did you watch lots of football? I miss football so much!

Colleen, what a scary almost accident. I hate that. I'm glad you're OK. I've been in my fair share of decent accidents and I pray it never happens again. My heart gets pumping pretty good!

Lisa, yay for DS win! I hear you on Saturdays being hard to keep clean. Hang in there. How are you liking insanity? ^5 for the scale being down.

Wendy, yikes about your bathroom. I would be dying! Hope it's done soon and you can get back to normal.

Hi Anne, Jennifer, anyone else I am missing??

So, the girls are at school ALL day. Annabel is doing 4 weeks of extra french lessons so Mon and Tue they will stay for lunch since her lessons are right after lunch. I don't like it - it's too long and I miss them and I get bored.

Oh, I had to chime in on the getting "caught" convo. One time we were as said, "in bed but not sleeping" and Ryan looks over and Anna was standing in the doorway - we had no idea how long she was there. Thankfully we were under the covers. Last week we had just gotten started and all the sudden we hear Ellie from the bathroom, "MOM! Can you wipe me???" So romantic...

I have been eating/cheating way too much. Not horrible things but just too much food. My goal for the week is to keep it clean AND tidy all week. I need to weigh food, portion, etc. We're going to Belgium again next weekend so I need to be careful! Only 3 weeks left of insanity and I want to get the best results I can.

Oh, Kate! Do I win some sort of prize? I have $200 in gymbucks for next week. It's a sickness... it really is.

OK, off to do some laundry and such house cleaning.

Morning Angie & all C&T ladies. Wow, that weekend went by fast, didn't it?!

My 9 miles went pretty well yesterday, and I am excited for 10 next week. My legs were pretty achey (didn't hurt, just an uncomfortable ache) yesterday and sitting/laying was uncomfortable, so I tried to stay up and move around as much as possible. I got a lot of housework done! I am not that sore this morning.

Another crazy day at work today - roughly 140 cases of underage drinking on the 8 am docket, and then I have about a dozen probation violations on the 1 pm docket. I likely won't get to my office all day - just hang out in court all day :rolleyes:

I'll check in when I can!

Ok, you and I BOTH - CLEAN IT UP! Mike and I were joking that we are just trying to go for the most dramatic before & after pics!:p

Our next couple days ar kinda crazy/busy so I don't know if I'm going to get to WO at all.:eek: We have some house guests coming today for 2 nights. Today at my normal WO time I'm going to be wokring at Isabel's class. I had hoped to wake up early today but it didn't happen. I didn't get to sleep til 11:30 and I could NOT wake up early today!

Hopefully Gina is feeling well to go to school today. Better go get started on my day. See you later!

Angie you only missed one...good for you. I agree with you there is no perfect church, they all are so different even within the same denomination. I go to a non-denominational church where young people are encourage to come as you are, respectfully. So usually you will see the teen in jeans. Once a month we have formal day and kids are encourage to dress up a little.

Kate I hope DD is feeling better today.

Katie 140 CASES...you say it like a it's nothing new to you, well I guess it not. Good luck. ^5 YOU GO GIRL...road running self. when will you start to go to the gym. I think If i join a gym early morning would be my best time. I hate crowds.

Brocoli stink after a couple of days in the refrig. YUCK.

My water weight is down by 2#, 3.5 more # to go.

my w/o today will be sts chest, shoulders, bi and 1/2 sts leg (i plan to split up sts legs into 2 days)

Good Morning Everyone!

I have a little work drama here this morning. We all received an email that we have been acquired by Xerox. I will have the post up on FB soon. This morning was Max Interval Plyo and a 20 minute run. I thought I could handle 48 degrees in shorts but by the time I finished my thighs were a little chilly.

Robin, ^5 on the weight loss. I never think broccoli stinks but my coworkers tell me it smells.
Angie, I guess all the workouts are getting easier for me. I would agree that Max Cardio & Conditioning is the easiest.
Katie, good luck in court today. ^5 for making it through your run.
Kate, I hope Gina is feeling better. Good luck getting everything done in the next few days.
Nina, I have a hard time getting my workout done at night too.

the tile guy just showed up to start the tub surround and waiting for plumber to get back. was getting worried because i need to run to the gym when JJ gets up, time is of the essence! ive been doing intervals on the bike or rower and will stick with that. igentle on my joints but good and hard and seems to be a good fit with the resistance stuff im doing at home - cathe ub wos, squeeze, yoga. keeping my fingers crossed that this is the shakeup my body needs, otherwise i need a doc to check my thyroid and whatever else cuz this plateau is just craziness!

early morning took a quick walk approx 1.7m for errands. had natures path organic pumpkin flaxplus granola, delish!! out of milk so tasty just dry. and my coffee mainline =) dinner was chili and wh wheat elbows and peas. today is yom kippur and i am not fasting (because i am nursing) but ods is... he still wants to go to cross country practice this afternoon, what do yall think? no food all day and then run 5m or so??? he is adamant that he doesnt want to miss a practice.

kate, i think sometimes they pick up on a day being "different" and think they will be missing something! remember all the sleep troubles i was having with JJ? i will have to sen you a pm to fill you in...everythings changed, not problem free but nothing like before...

colleen, i hope your job will be ok, these are tough times but zerox is a company with a good reputation i think. your meals look great! havent made couscous in a while and i really should, so easy and healthy!

katie, whats with all the underage drinkers in your area?!?!? well i NEVER did that... got caught i mean... lol.

angie, are you feeling all better? stomach things are the worst =( lol @ your romantic interruption! thats a good one! is there no way to watch american football where you are? its not on the nternet or cable or anything?

robin, whenever i cook broccoli my husband walks in and thinks the trash stinks or something is rotting in the fridge and then i tell him its just dinner!

i can not wait until this bathrm is done - not just so i HAVE one lol but because my house is a horrid mess!! dust and just STUFF everywhere, cant stand it!

keep it clean! i know i am trying!

Wendy all plateaus are crazy because what you did the last time to break the
plateau will not work this time. At least that how my body works. cross country on a empty stomach...I couldn't do it.

Workout is done and next week is rest week for me. Then I move on to Meso 2 my all time fav. Still thinking about insanity..using it as a cardio w/o 2 times per week. Possible ???

wendy, lol re brocolli. it happens to be mine and ds's fav, but dh HATES the smell. oh well:rolleyes: have good gym time. your cereal sounds good.

colleen, i hope this will mean more job security for you. oh how i miss 48 degree runs. i am just excited it may get down to low to mid 70's in the am later this week.

katie, glad you are feeling so good and looking forward to next week. do you have a rest day in your sched? also, i posted a question to you on yday thread, but you may not have seen it - how did it go with the gels? i want to try one but am worried about the effect, kwim?

i tried "SO" hard to sleep in. my whole body was wiped from yday. did n't work, but i did do abs and legs, also swam. i am trying to reach some vets about work and also fill out an application to start subing at the boys school. dh's paper work problem is better, but i think that means he is heading out of town at the end of this week. goodbye long runs, for a while. hope my insanity comes:eek: eats are a bit higher in cals today. i just got super hungry after my swim. but, everything is clean and it will tidy up, and tomorrow can be a lower cal day. bbiab
 
Hey all - quick check in before bed. Just wanted to say eats were good and clean today so I feel good. Even got an extra calorie burn in with Ryan!;);)

I'll be back in the am - have a good rest of the day!

nina, the funny thing is dh does like broccoli, just not the smell of it cooking! sorry you cant sleep late, that stinks! some of us are just programmed as early risers i guess.

robin, ods didnt end up going to practice, he remembered that he wouldnt be allowed to since he wasnt in school. and ITA agree abt plateaus and needing something new! thats why im at the gym now, so not a gym person but i knew i needed something totally different and i need to stay consistent with it to see results (i have a bit of exercise
ADD)... at least i hope to see results!! and soon!

lunch was pasta and sauce with peas from last night, but more pasta than would be considered "tidy" for sure =( aaaaaand ive been snacking on that granola all day, think ineed to find one i dont like as much! cant just blame it on AF i spose, self control is needed at TTOM! well i joined this checkin to get real so theres my confession.

and someone asked for before and after pics... well here are befores of our lovely 60s blue with 80s updated wood details and matching blue bathfitter tub thingy... ick!! cant believe im even showing you!

Wendy HA maybe you should keep it..the 60s are back.

I remember when I had the 1/2 dollar sized tiles taken out of my kitchen ..just to read that those tiles were back in style.
