Clean eating?

You see these two words a lot on these boards. Since I am relatively new, I have surmised so far that this means no processed foods, eating more foods in their whole state. Is this all there is to clean eating or are there other components to it also, i.e. organic, dairy?, etc.

I am sure this topic has been thorough expounded upon in this forum and if you have any old threads on the subject or if you can give me more information, please send it my way.

Thanks!

Hi Jane,

You are correct. Clean eating is really just eating foods in their most natural unprocessed state. There are some folks who avoid dairy but that is really not necessary for clean eating. You want to eat lots of plant based foods, ie fruits and vegetables in their fresh, raw state.

Hope that helps.
