Clean Eating Challenge - Nov. 21/05

Well, I'm back from vacation and back at it. I failed miserably last week. A few days weren't too bad, but the ones that were made up for it.

I'm actually starting an eating plan today that I found in Oxygen, slightly modified. This is what today looks like:

B - two slices WW toast with 1 tbsp pb, banana, 8 oz soy milk
S - 15 grapes
L - WW pita with tuna with light mayo and celery, 1 cup greens with vinaigrette
S - red pepper strips with part-skim mozzarella
D - Curried brown rice with veggies, 1 cup greens with vinaigrette
S - 1 orange and 10 almonds

My workout for the day is A-Jock's Nosebleed Circuit. Pray for me:p
 
Hi Shelley,

I've been sick the past week but am feeling good enough to get back into groove of things.

1. protein shake
2. egg whites & oatmeal
3. salad with 1 can tuna, advantEdge carb control shake
4. protein bar, don't usually have these but was still hungry
5. Chicken and veggies
6. ???

Where is everyone? Hope your not all pigging out somewhere!

I accept your challenge. Actually, I've been eating pretty clean for the most part but I really, really need to--HAVE TO stick to it. My cholesterol won't budgex( :-( ;( Not only that, I put some weight on because I am not good about doing cardio. I wish I loved cardio but I really rather hate it. There, I've said it and now it's out there.

B - I had natural peanut butter on whole grain toast, and a can of V8 juice
S - none
L - ground sirloin patty and salad with olive oil and vinegar
S - orange segments and l/f cheese
D - ? but need to figure it out soon:p

Shelley, is this the plan that was in the December issue? I was looking at that myself.

Michele - yes, that's the one. I'm actually quite enjoying it so far. My dinner got a bit screwed up tonight so I haven't eaten it yet, in which case I will be foregoing the evening snack:p

I modified it a bit because it's not vegetarian friendly, but it still works really well. And any plan that has me eating graham wafers with peanut butter as a snack can't be all that bad;)
 
I stuck with cleaning eating today and have since last Sunday when I got back from vacation. Still have damage to repair... but I figured it would take about three weeks to do.

Too tired to type all my food in, just take my word for it.;)

Good night. Two more days on this marathon 9 days in a row working.
