Clean Eating Challenge Nov 10/05

Shelley, did you sleep in this morning?
Did well yesterday until I got home and the bag of chocolate in the cupboard exploded, and landed in my mouth.
I will try to do better today, although I sometimes slip on days off, if I get bored in the afternoon.
B - 2 pieces whole wheat toast w/ PB and J, banana
L - soup, slice wheat bread, apple
D - salad with smoked salmon
s - fruit, maybe a piece of chocolate
64-80 oz of water

Hi Robin! No, I was off at the dentist and didn't have time to get on the computer before I went. Thanks for starting this.

Okay, today is:

B - cereal with soy milk and banana
S - apple and 1/2 WW English muffin with pb
L - large salad with protein, lf yogurt
S - steel cut oats and almonds and raisins
D - brown rice with veggies and beans, salsa, lf cheese

I strayed a bit last night too, but nothing too horrible. Overall, I think I'm doing okay.
 
I'm not sure how "clean" my day is going to be, but it'll be properly combined!!

*Upon Rising-hot water with lemon and honey
*An hour later-large glass of water with a homemade breakfast burrito (whole wheat tortilla, 1 scrambled egg with black beans and organic sugar and salt free salsa)
*Post-workout-Vegan vanilla protein and orange fiber shake (1/2 and 1/2) made with organic decaf coffee
*Lunch-leftover chicken from dinner with LOTS of spinich and tomatos
*Snack-Hummus with carrots and red pepper strips
*Dinner-jumbo stuffed shells (silken tofu and italian spices topped with marinara sauce), vegi will be my DD's choice (I bet it's raw broccoli dip!)
 
Hey ladies -

I did good yeaterday but still did not get as high as I wanted - funny how THAT can be the problem... hehe.. I was just over 1800 cal and wanted to be closer to 2000. Oh well... :)

Today will be:

B - Egg beaters, WW english muffin, Simply Fruit Jam
S - Oatmeal, 1/2c 1% milk, protein shake
L - Subway salad - prob Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki
S - P & J on WW
D - chicken and veggies

Lots of water... :)

Hi Ladies,

Robin, you crack me up. I have that very same problem with the bag of chocolate chips somehow managing to explode in my mouth!

I've been doing better lately though.

1. protein shake
2. egg whites and oatmeal
3. 2 boca burgers
4. ?
5. ?
6. ?

I will drink at least one gallon of water today. I'm going out to dinner with DH and his friends from work. It is his last day there and he will be starting a new job on Monday. I will try to stick to a healthy salad.
