Clean and Tidy - thurs Jun 28

Eating hasn't been so clean for me lately. Life has been a little hectic.I haven't check in for awhile because of that. Wed nite was pizza. Yesterday had too many pretzels in it! We went to DS college oriientation. Although I didn't eat the big fat sandwiches they had(just took the middle stuff out and ate it - they actually had some made with veggies), I had 3 min bags of pretzels!

OK, today is a new day. I'll try again. Unfortunately there isn't much in the house in teh way of clean food. Heavy sigh, I feel better now that I have vented! Sat. is DS's graduation party and it won't be clean by any stretch of the imagination!

I'moff to do Lomax now. Maybe that will help me feel better.

Shelley, how are you feeling! I think this heat has thrown everyone a little off.

Morning Phyllis. Yesterday was pretty good for me. Again, it was too hot to cook or eat much. Today sounds the same. I sure wish we'd get some rain. Last night we were surrounded by storms, but not a drop in our backyard.

Bfast - same as it ever was
Lunch - early lunch of PB&J on WW, fruit - I have a visit with the dentist for a crown fitting - Yuck!
Dinner - who knows?
Snack - depends on the mouth
Workout - Gym Style B,B &A
 
Hi Phyllis, Robin, & all who follow. Other than a couple glasses of wine last night, my day was pretty darn clean. I made some brown rice with sauteed onions, bell pepper, & lots of seasonings, white beans, corn on the cob (prepared on the grill), & salmon on the grill. So I think the meal was pretty clean. Unfortunately, it needed some wine with it.:9 But heck, that's why I work out, right?:p :+

This morning, I did Supersets & enjoyed it thoroughly. So far today, I've had 2 cups of coffee, a large cup of water, & I'm eating some grits with one whole egg mixed in. I'll probably eat a banana & maybe another piece of fruit if I'm still hungry. Lunch will be an organic frozen dinner (Kashi or Amy's) & maybe some thin rye crisps with hummus or a piece of fruit. Snack will probably be whichever of those I don't eat with lunch or maybe some Natually More peanut butter on thin rye crisps. Guess I just need to wait & see what I feel like when the time arrives. Dinner will not be clean, I'm sorry to report. We have plans to go see a free music show with friends so we'll be going out for a bite beforehand. There will probably be a couple glasses of beer involved too. I'll let you ladies know how it goes when I check back in tomorrow.

Phyllis - I say enjoy all the events going on in your life right now while they're happening... & enjoy Lowmax too. That's definitely a calorie burner!

Robin - Sorry you still haven't gotten any rain. We're still in desperate need around here too. Good luck at the dentist today...

Morning All

I had wine last night too:) You are right, we workout like mad women, so a little vino ain't gonna kill ya!

I ended up doing PlyoX yesterday! Yeah me! This is one of those workouts I have to really motivate myself to do, but it feels so great afterwards.Keep in mind I have to modify some of the moves cause of my hip, but I still get one heck of a workout.
I was pretty pooped, so I skipped my shoulders and arms and rested last night. I will probably do them today.

I am going to my final doc appointment before my hip surgery today, so I am excited and anxious:) Which means my tummy will take it, so I will probably concentrate on eating salads today with lots of fruit.

I have already had 2 small nectarines this AM, oh and lots of water.
Good luck at the dentist Robin, make them give you that "funny gas":+
Don't sweat it Phyllis, I have whole months like this...and to all who follow, have a clean and tidy day!
 
Kel, you're right. A meal like that screams for wine. I'm just a little hurt that I wasn't invited.

Hello to all! I am getting a late and lazy start today (and enjoying it!).

Phyllis, my two-day PMS binge was abysmal! All we can do is hop back on the train. Enjoy all that you have going on.

Robin, I hope your crowning goes well and you get lots of good nitrous!!!

Kel, go ahead and have some wine for me! We workout so we can enjoy other things!

Tneah, definitely keep us updated on your surgery.

I just had my new favorite breakfast: Kashi Go Lean! cereal with chocolate soy milk. YUM!!! It was sooooo good.

I don't know what the rest of the day will look like. I don't have any bad food in the house, so it shoudl be pretty clean.

Thanks guys, I will keep you updated. I go in the morning of July 10th, I am just running around getting all that pre-op stuff done:) I have to get a riser for my toilet, how funny is that?

I want your puppy Lorie!Oh my goodness, she or he is the sweetest thing I have ever seen, I would not trade my big lovable 150 pound Newfie for anything, but your dog is just too cute!:) Oh, and I am going to try lowfat chocolate soy milk with that cereal you mentioned, it sounds so delicious...okay, I am really gone now, have a good one guys!
 
We took the kids to the campgrounds at Six Flags. It was super fun, but guess what? The clean eating wasn't so clean:( But I only ate half the portions I was served and I think I must walked off those calories cause my feeties are still killing me.

So now we''re back my clean eating should be too. Has anyone seen the new ALLI diet plan? Not the pills, just the diet plan, the menus and such. They're delish, and I believe clean... I just wanted to compare notes with someone with the food plan itself, again, not the pills.

Hey. I'm starting to resemble the infamous chicken with no head in my running around. Doing my best to stay clean and DRINK MY WATER! That is so important in general, and then I live where it's constantly warm. I squeaked in today at just over 64 oz but really should probably be drinking more.

Today
B-bran flakes and milk
S-1/2 banana
L-sweet potatoes, red beans, cabbage (all local style--very clean and delish!)
S-bran/carrot muffin (made with no sugar) and milk
S-baked chicken, broccoli rice casserole (not so clean), steamed pumpkin, spinach

Not a bad day. OK. I did have 1/2 an oreo because somebody sent us a care package and they sent strawberry milkshake oreos. So I just had to try a taste. Yuck!! We could have whole packages of those around and I'd never be tempted. The kids can sure have the rest of them. Now, peanut butter oreos are another story!! }(

My workout today was PLB, and I was proud of myself with all the running around I've been doing to get ready to leave!

Lorie--Tess said on the RT thread that she met you and you're a very nice person! Can't wait to meet you myself in August.
 
Tess started a Yahoo group for all the Atlanta Catheites and we have an outing planned for next month. Tess and I met for lunch on Wednesday. She's great!!! I am SOOOOO jealous for all of you going on the RT. I'm not going. Waaaaaah!!! :(
 
TODAY WAS A GREAT DAY!!!

I am so excited.

b - cereal and a banana
l - baked potato w/ TONS of salsa
d - lg. salad w/ veggies and peanuts

No snacks today, I was too busy trying to catch up at work from being gone. I had 1/2 piece of banana bread at lunch, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it.

The bummer part about today is I cannot fit in a workout. However I just ordered S&Heavy and it comes tomorrow so I'm sure that will start to make up for my workout-slackness! I can't wait to start a rotation with it.


WE are most definetly gettinr rain (michigan). GIANT rain storm yesterday. My girls and I love it.

Lorie - 4 words - Kashi Go Lean Cruch. I could eat the whole box in one sitting. For every meal. And I wish I was going on the RT too.

Laura - Don't you love it when you find a desert that you DON'T like!?
