I need to audition for that show "Don't Forget the Lyrics". LOL

What on the menu today peeps.

My w/o today was Rodney Lee Slow Burn Yoga, which was difficult because he move so slow. I usually do power yoga, which is quick moving.

B- Egg Whites and Red peppers
S- protein bar
L- Fish and salad
S-?
D- Veggie and chicken stir fry (not really clean)
S- ?

Robin - Good for you getting a morning workout. That's not something I've ever done but would like to do. Good meal plan. I've been having eggs and veggies a lot lately. What kind of protein bars do you eat? Why is you dinner not clean? Sounds good to me! Of course there's always PF Chang's. You go there and order veggies & chicken but there is so much sugar in their sauce you're better off ordering dessert! No wonder my girls love to eat there! Did you ever look up what a peep is!?

I lost another 1/2 lb and really feeling like consistent clean eating is paying off. So happy.

l - eggs, red peppers, mushrooms, 9-grain bread toasted w/o butter
s - ??
d - aiming for salad w/ grilled chicken

Hoping to get a good cardio & weights in tonight. I wanted to so bad last night but I didn't get done working until 9pm and I didn't want to be domwnstairs until 10 or later so I did the step portion of SPJ (or SJP???) and the 1st hilo segment and abs. Wow! I'd never done that ab segment before. You don't work obliques, which is a bummer, but man, the whole front of me was quakin'!

You wanna know something wierd? All of my life I've been a terrible nail biter. I hate how it looks but could never stop. Since I've been following clean eating so good the last couple weeks I've completely stopped nibbling! I've read that people can bite their nails due to mineral deficiencies...maybe that was the case for me. Whatever it is..yay! It is so odd to look at my handa and see ladylike fingers! DH and DDs like it for back-scratching!

Thinking of all the RTers starting out today! Have fun! Wish we were there!

My protein bars are Pure Protein Bar (Chocolate deluxe) it has 20g of protein, 0 g of trans fat and 0 g of sugar, 170 calories, 17g of carbs, lots of vitamins. They taste great and really fill me up that is why sometimes I only eat 1/2 of a bar. My dinner is Chinese Food not clean eating unless I have it steamed. For lunch I had shrimp with garlic sauce (loads of butter):9 :9 :9

I'm glad you don't bite your nails anymore...I think that it is called pica. Since you are eating so well you have treated yourself. Good.

I realize that it is a little sparse here today, I will try and not think why everyone is gone.
Kate, I an so glad you don't bite your nails anymore. What a hard habit to break! My daughter had a terrible time with it.
Robin J- PF Chang's??? I LOVE the lettuce wraps. I had them in Vegas last month, so yummy! Well even if you don't get that Stir fry sound great too.

My diet today is off because my friendly stomach problem/hiatal hernia is back and giving me fits
Did High Step Training and 400 lunges, this has been the highlight of my whole day.

B-yogurt and slice of bread
L-yogurt and a slice of bread
s-small amount of salmon with a little s/p
d-whatever I can tolerate(and we have to go to dinner at my DH business partners home. My stomach already hurts enough without this)

I hate it when this happens. Oh well. I should know better by now what I can and can't do with it.

I am jealous of all the road trippers. Maybe someday Cathe will do a virtual roadtrip.

Robin - I always thought I was good at remembering the lyrics of songs until I started watching that show. Do you watch Singing Bee too?

Workout today was the cardio from C&W + S&H biceps

Food looks like this -

B - The usual.
L - The usual sandwich with fresh cherries and broccoli/cauliflower. I seem so boring, but these B&Fs have been working so well for me. I'm never hungry and I haven't gotten tired of the food , so I'm good with it.
D - TBD, might be yams and some sort of protein.

The veggie biscuits are really easy. I just take a regular biscuit recipe, use oil instead of shortening and sub it down a lot, usually about 1/3-1/4 of what's called for and sub half whole wheat flour, then steam a bunch of veggies and either chop them small or put them in a food processor. Some good combos are - Broccoli & onions, tomato & basil, garlic & spinach, and honey/agave & carrots for a sweeter biscuit.

You know what, starting today, I think I have found renewed motivation. My menu was the same this am...omelette and steel cut oats. That was followed by Cathe's step class...IN PERSON!!!!!! YYYYYAAAYYYYY!!!!! I'm doing the happy dance! I was able to get off from work and got up the courage to crash the RT. I'm so glad I did! It was such a blast...I can't tell you how much energy was in that room. It was so great to finally be able to put names to faces, too. I will definitely be making the trip again in the not too distant future. I even weasled my way into a few pics...and I HATE cameras :p.
