Claiming $ made selling DVDS

Any tax pros out there...do I need to claim the money I made selling my DVDs on Amazon in my wages for my taxes?? Nothing like waiting until the last minute

I suppose if you made an enormous amount of money doing it then perhaps you are supposed to but otherwise no....not that I've ever heard anyway. I think if you were supposed to you would receive some type of notification when you get the rest of your tax documents.

I just found out that if I didn't make any money selling them-which I didn't since I sold them for less than I paid-I don't have to claim the money I made. Thanks!!

I'm no tax expert but I don't believe you claim them because you're selling something you already paid money for. Think of when people have tag sales or sell their furniture. You're not creating a wage for yourself. You're just trying to get some money back on something you already put out money for. HTH.
