How about a series of circuit tapes, which seem so popular these days, except no one does aerobic/cardio circuits with heavy weights. I like doing some sort of cardio/aerobics on each day during weeks when I feel fat and want to burn more of it off. It seems like most workouts do a fine job of mixing cardio with weights, but no one does heavy weights. It is all light toning stuff, no heavy lifting, so the pace is rather fast and unsafe for hauling heavy poundage.
It could go something like this:
Aerobic circuits intermixed with heavy weights, UPPER body
Aerobic circuits intermixed with heavy weights, LOWER body
Aerobic circuits intermixed with CORE/ABS (ouch, make it hurt!)
Aerobic circuits with calisthenics/no weights/CORE/ABS/flex/stretch. Sort of like a tough Boot Camp but no weights.
No step please, for the clutzes out there like me who might break an ankle!
