Christi's Mission Possible Clips are up at Collage....ho hum.

I guess that about sums up my take on it. I was going to preorder Cardio Collectibles, but I am not sure now. I was even put off by the set, almost claustrophobic in nature , imo.

I am a huge Christi fan ( her older stuff ) and I am so thankful Cathe is not doing the same "lesser intensity" stuff with such frequency. All of Christi's newer material is less and less advanced.
Having said that, I know this one was supposed to be more moderate, but come on! Cathe has shown she can do that successfully with her Basic Step and LIS and still retain interest.

I guess that ends my rant, I just get disappointed. There are so few challenging choreographers out there anymore.

Oh Conni, I'm sorry for your disappointment! It's awful when you've been anticipating something and then it's a let down! I'd been interested in getting Jillian Michael's "Cardio Kick Box". When the clips/reviews came out, I was disappointed and passed on it.

I agree with you about Cathe's workout intensity---of all my fitness dvds, Cathe's are my toughest. Since you're a huge Christi fan, have you considered getting the workouts and using them for lighter days/recovery days? I'm a Tamilee Webb fan and have some of her workouts that I bought before I discovered Cathe, and I keep those for lighter days/recovery days.

I know what you mean, but these even look to easy for light days. Especially when I know how much better she can do.

Like I said, the set bothers me too. I guess I am just too picky.

I checked out the video clip too - and you are right - there is just something so bland about the set and their outfits... It looks more like it was produced a few years ago instead of being new...

I am kind of sorry I pre-ordered:-(. I'm going to try and stay positive though. I'll judge the workout once I preview it. Hopefully, those clips were part of the warm-up and cool down..lol

I wasn't too sure about this one myself. I really love Christi, but heard the last couple were bad and wasn't too keen on this one. But, then again, maybe you can make it more intense. I do that alot with a couple Gin Miller vids. I intensify the choreography. The Mission Possible clip didn't look too bad to me. It's hard to tell in a 1 minute clip, so it may be really fun!
