Usually sometime between 4-8 months, puppies undergo a growth spurt and it's usually uneven. My previous Aussie's nose started growing and it grew like crazy. For about a month he looked like he was all nose. He also had a funny shaped rear, but he grew out of that. With Jimmy we did have a time when his legs grew - he looked as if he were walking on stilts but it was cute. He does still have a bit of a butt mohawk - the brown on his butt is growing faster than the black, but that's also cute. But he is only six months old, so we have another few months for the puppy uglies to show up. He's still a joy and oh so funny - but then again, Aussie's are the clowns of the dog world (although he got some still competition from my friend's Pug this weekend).
