*grins* Yes, that's Jimmy. Taken last week. He's growing up sooo fast! He's also a certifiable ham. He knows he's cute and plays on it.

Awww, thanks! His breeder assures me that he will go through the puppy uglies, but he hasn't yet. He's six months old (as of yesterday), 38 pounds and still thinks he a lap dog (so I've invested in dark pants and skirts, and lots of laundry soap). And he's spoiled rotten. But, he's a sweetie.

OMG he is gorgeous!! What a beautiful boy! Can not believe how much he has grown .. WOW .. and certainly no "ugly puppy stage" ..

A big sloppy puppy kiss to all of you, too! Thanks so much. He is very agile and very smart. I think he's actually smarter than I am - and I think he knows it, too. But, I feed him and take him fun places, so he'll put up with me... :+

Usually sometime between 4-8 months, puppies undergo a growth spurt and it's usually uneven. My previous Aussie's nose started growing and it grew like crazy. For about a month he looked like he was all nose. He also had a funny shaped rear, but he grew out of that. With Jimmy we did have a time when his legs grew - he looked as if he were walking on stilts but it was cute. He does still have a bit of a butt mohawk - the brown on his butt is growing faster than the black, but that's also cute. But he is only six months old, so we have another few months for the puppy uglies to show up. He's still a joy and oh so funny - but then again, Aussie's are the clowns of the dog world (although he got some still competition from my friend's Pug this weekend).

Christine, what a handsome and intelligent looking dog! Just like his namesake. Well, maybe Jimmy the dog is even better looking then Jimmy the Buffett.

Oh I don't know - they both have those brown eyes and a devil-my-care grin... Although Jimmy the dog can't belt out a tune or strum a guitar (yet). But he does have more hair...
