Chloe won!!! (Project Runway)

Anyone else surprised that Chloe won? I was convinced it was going to be Santino or Daniel. What did you think of their collections? I was expecting something more daring from Santino.... really enjoyed Daniel's elegance and sleekness... and I think I liked Chloe's the least! But I'm happy for Chloe, since she seems like a genuinely nice person....

I loved Santino's collection (although I was surprised at it's simplicity), and I liked a few of Chloe's dresses--the flowered flowy ones. I was surprised. I'm glad I discovered that show--it was exciting!

ps--my hubbie couldn't stand Debra Messing's comments. She didn't seem to have much to say beyond the "stories" the collections were trying to tell.

I also was a bit surprised by Chloe's win. However, I think her business experience might have been what helped her win.
Although he turned down the Banana Republic internship to work on his own collection, last year's winner, Jay, hasn't put out a collection since his win. Maybe they wanted to choose someone who they hoped would make full use of this opportunity.

Yeah... I thought she was, how can I put it nicely... not exactly "value added" last night.

I actually liked Chloe's collection from a fashion stance. Her fabrics were rich and the seams were awesome. You can see how much of it will translate off the runway. As someone said, she definitely knows the female body.

Daniel's stuff was interesting, but what was up with the "capstone" dress the model nearly tripped over??? That was an awful moment!

Santino's fabrics were pretty but it looked like he went too far the other way. I think he's the most creative of the bunch so I was disappointed.

I also wonder why they pick a celebrity guest judge. Who cares what a celebrity thinks?

I am glad Chloe won too although I think "Project Santino" in would be more fun. Although it will be hard to beat "Project Jay".
