This is a problem. Here on Cathe's site...we live, eat, sleep - exercise (at least some of us didx( ). BUT we are far from the norm. I could GREATLY enlarge my exercise class and I know that I should, but I hate doing "less than intense" which is what the normal person is.
I really do WANT to reach those that NEED to exercise, but I have to change my workouts significantly to do that. (I'm rambling on.)
Point is Linda - if you want to reach the majority - your title is going to have to change to something that won't thrill "us" so to speak - but will appeal to the general public. If you want to train the elite few who really want to WORK, then I think your listed titles are great! But your numbers will drop greatly. So who do you want to reach?
Makes me crazy, but you know the magazines that make us all insanely irritated....."5 minutes per week to perfect abs", "get the butt you want in two quick moves and still eat chocolate", "be skinny in 10 minutes without breaking a sweat". You see these titles every day in the checkout line. AND PEOPLE BUY THESE MAGAZINES. AND REALLY BELIEVE THIS. Now I'm really rambling and not helping you a bit, but this unfortunately is what you're up against. "Snap Fitness" - why do you think people join this health club? Hey how about "Real Results". I always feel like telling the mag editors to get real when I read covers like this.
I'm just not in a creative mode right now..I'll have to think about this.
