A little behind on the check-in. I had a good session with Katie on Friday. I am noticing some subtle differnces in my lower body since working on the functional mobility. Not anything visible, but I don't feel so tight. Esp in the buttock region. Saturday I did SZ and chinups (weighted 10#) 4/2,4/2,3/3,3/3 & 3/3 Not as good as last week, but I was a bit sore from Friday's w/o. Today I did B&Gs standing portion and LB's short KB workout.

This weekend went by way too quick!!

I would love to go back to bed :confused: Must go to work however :( I am planning upper body and cardio this evening!!

No workout for me Saturday, didn't get to bed until 1 am. But back at it this morning.

6/6/6 - 47's ***Dropped the weight even more and was able to get a good hold at the top, but had some pain in the front of left shoulder***

Close Grip Tricep Press
24 - 55#
23 - 50 #
25 - 45# **This wasn't suppose to be a drop set but couldn't make 25 reps, biggest problem was a burning sensation in the front of right shoulder:confused:***

Then interval cardio at 45/90 ratio using Amy's ASC powerups.


BTW, I got my first client! I am so nervous! I have lots to do to get ready, especially I will have to design programs around some bad back issues!:eek: and a few other injuries!
 
Workout done. Did upper body and HIS cardio. Too tired to remember my numbers but they were about the same as last week. Pullups were weak, but I did them :) Having a drinkie poo to relax now :cool:

Bored with the cardio so did IMAX 2 blasts only 1-7, skipping 3, because, well, I just don't like it.
 
Hey Linda!! Now when do you start working with your new client? How exciting is that :eek: Good w/o!! I'm LOL at you skipping blast # 3. I'll have to check it out because I can not remember what it is. I sometimes will skip one that I don't like and repeat one that I do. I loathe the 1st drill in DM. Can not stand it. To the point that I will skip doing the w/o just to not do the drill :confused: Now that makes a whole lot of sense!!

I've been super busy lately. Which is good when productivity comes around, but WHEW!!! I did LB 40 min KB w/o. Man that kicks some a$$. Used my 26# for practically the whole w/o. Think I need a bigger bell. But damn$$$$ Maybe when productivity comes in I will treat myself :p

Tomorrow DH is having a ganglion cyst surgically removed from his wrist. I don't know if I will be around. If I am it will be really early. I have to get up at 4 am :confused: Or it will be later in the day!!

Glad to hear all went well today. Make sure you get that nap!

No date to officially start training my client. We are still working out particulars. I visited an attorney to review paper work. She is cleaning her house and getting a release from her doctor. I also need to get with her and discuss what amount of time she wants to dedicate to exercise. She would like to walk in the Susan G Komen in May. So I need to look into the training for that.


Overslept ,so did Amy's ASC 1. That workout gets a lot done in a short amount of time. The entire workout is about 45 minutes and always leaves me breathing hard!
 
Hey Linda!! I am sure you are anxious to get going with that client!!! I hope it goes well for ya ;)

I did 1/2 of RS this morning and have a kb session with Katie this afternoon. DH is doing fine. I asked if he minded me leaving him and he said it was ok. I hope he meant it!! I am hoping to do some chinups tomorrow!!

I did not want to get out of bed this morning. It wasn't so much that I didn't want to work out, but rather that I just wanted more sleep So I made a compromise with myself and got up ....today's workout was not about reaching goals, setting new records, building more muscle, or going all out.... it was simply about moving when I did not feel like it.

So I lowered all the weights and it went like this....

Incline DB Chest Press
6/6/6 - 35#
One Arm Row
6/6/6 - 42's

Superset B
Chin Ups

DB Bench Press
8/8/8 - 35's

Superset C
Close Grip Press
25 - 50#
15 - 45# ***At this point I switched over to doing Lying Tricep extensions because the front of my shoulders were burning too bad.***
Tricep Lying Extension
15 - 15's
25 - 12's
Rear Delt Raise
10/10/10 - 10's

Must have done something right even though I lowered the weights, because when I went to fill out my log sheet my arm was shaking. Then did BM2 Timesaver Cardio Premix.

Linda, I applaud you for your strategy!! I like what you said about it being about movint when you did not feel like it!!

Had a good session with Katie. I was starving when I was done and realized I had not eaten lunch:eek: Now I am stuffing my face with pizza :confused:
