No chinning for me today. It was upper body day. My rotation is off. Well, if you call it a rotation:) It's been 2 weeks since I did a heavier upper body.

Bench
Warmup: 45# 8 reps, 60# 8 reps
Working set: 75# 12/12/8
(lowered the wt to conc on form)

Lat Raise
10# 10/10/10/10

Skull Crushers
22.5# 8/8/8 (these were super tough)

1 Arm DB Row
40# 8/8/8 (concentrated on slow controlled movement)
(supersetted with Skull Crushers)

Conc Curls
30# 4/4
27.5# 8/6
25# 8

I forgot there were tricep pushups in the KB w/o I did yesterday. My arms where really shaking during those skull crushers!!!!

My sister is gonna do the KB training session with me. Cool!!!!
 
So I did AS from CTX step section and then proceeded to sit my hiney on the couch all day :confused:

Hey ladies. I think I am gonna do a DM premix this evening. Not compeletely set on that, but it gives me something to look forward to,... or not!!
 
OK, I did a DM premix. The one where you do all of the drills twice. Except I got lazy and skipped the last 2 :eek: I still got a 45 min w/o that was intense!!

10/10/10 - 31's **up 2# total***
Rear Delt Raises
12/12/12 - 15's ***up 2# from 13's, I am getting there, shoulders are really sore today, but no pain:D***

Then did two sets of pullups 4 then 3 and one set of chins 3. My upper body was just too tired.

Cardio was next at 45/90 ration for 6 rounds doing runs around the step and power 7s. This is tough as my legs are tired by this point.

Today was Amy's ASC 3 through to 3&4 combined, which takes about an hour.
 
Linda, nice w/o!!! After doing those heavy RDLs (along with all the other wt work) you did awesome with pulls and chins!!

I hope Friday is a good experience. Not sure what to expect and that maybe a good thing ;) I am planning B&Gs this evening :eek:
 
Catherine - :eek: Oops! I just re-read my post and realized it said I would be worried that she was new....It should read that I wouldn't be worried! Sorry!!!:eek:
 
I kinda figured that's what you meant. I don't mind at all if she's new at being a PT. Her video is quite impressive. I'm actually pretty excited :eek::eek:
 
Wow! I am so proud of what I managed to accomplish this morning. I wasn't too far into this workout when I felt like I wanted to puke already!

Pullups
7/8, 5/8, 5/8 ***These were my best numbers so far - The first set number is unassisted, the second on the first two set is were I rested about 10 sec and finished the set of eight, I use assistance to finish the last set.
DB Floor Press
8/8/8 - 45 1/2's

Superset B
Chin Ups
8, 6/8, 6/8 ***Again my best numbers so far - I rested about 10 sec. then finished the set of eigth on the last two sets.***
DB Incline Press
8/8 - 41 1/2's
7 -41's ***Didn't realize until after I didn't finish all the sets last week so i should not have raised the weight yet.

Superset C
Inverted Rows
15/15/15
Decline Pushups
20/20/20

Then cardio at a 20/40 ratio for eight rounds using the second power up from ASC 1 which was a lot of jumping, then did 4DS LIS combo/interval 1 & 2.
 
Linda you had a great w/o. I am totally jealous :p

I did the original IMAX this morning and thought maybe I'd do chinups this evening, but sitting on my behind in a class today has made me tired :confused: So I guess it'll be tomorrow ;)

Catherine - IMAX is a tough one. That was my first ever Cathe workout! So what were you learning about today?
 
Pharmacology update. I have to have 5 hours per year of pharm specific continuing ed. It was awful. Maybe I was just not in the mood :confused:

I really liked Imax.
 
Did Amy's ITR this morning all the way through, the cardio part was about an 1 hr 5 minutes. Combo 4 still confuses me :eek::p! But DH was still asleep this morning so I had to be quiet...good news is that he didn't hear a thing! On step workouts he hears my feet pounding the step :p:D!

Oh Linda, I know you are probably right. But my ars is in comfie PJs and on the couch already :rolleyes: Today is usually a rest day anyway. It's just that I didn't do my chinups yesterday- blasphemy:confused:

I am looking forward to my KB session tomorrow though:eek:
 
I am tired, I so could just go back to bed right now. Had a great workout this morning though.

Hi Ladies!

Sorry I had a busy week. I did S&H again this week and did no chinnin'. DOMS weren't as bad this week. Did inversions in yoga yesterday. Will probably do 2 weeks of P90X to finish my rotation. Was thinking about doing another week of S&H but the thought of doing Chest & Back again really doesn't excite me. To think, I'd rather be doing CST! I have to see if I can still do 1 arm and clapping pushups.

Catherine - How's your BIL doing? Great workouts! I'm impressed with your 40# rows. I was up to about 36 or 37. Did you see Cathe used 50# in rehearsal but then said she had to go down to 45? I guess she's human like the rest of us!

Linda - Great job on the pulls and chins! I still struggle with ITR too. I don't get a chance to do it enough. When I do splits, I usually only do one cardio a week because I also dance twice a week.

Good morning ladies!! I am so struggling with the blahs right now. I need to work on that.

I had my session with KB Kate yesterday!! The functional mobility testing was humbling :eek: I knew it would be. I am hoping that I am not beyond help and that she can straighten me out :) We did the FM test and then did some KB basics- swings, cleans with ohp, squats, DLs, and core work. She worked with us for 2 hours. She seemed to think we(my sis and I) weren't hopeless LOL. She was impressed with my knowledge:cool: She even went out for pizza and beer with us afterwards!! We will be going back next week.

Oh, and Linda, she sort of explained her fee. She asked again if we thought it was fair. I told her it was more than resonable. She replied that if she did it for a living she would charge more. But she does it for fun and extra money.

I did a couple of sets of chins after my KB session. Nothing impressive. 2 sets of 4 I think it was.

Marcy, good to see you. BIL is doing well. Thanks for asking!!

Linda, awesome w/o as usual. Good job adding in the chins ;)
