Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

Catherine,

Sorry I missed the bon voyage. I'm only a couple of hours from Atlanta, see ya there. Have a safe, fun trip.

I miss y'all. I'm so tired, but working out.

Maybe later or earlier (?) I can chat.

Briee, Biblical errors? It's because you steal donuts from the church fridge, you know? :p :+

Yay have soooo much fun ladies!!!!!! See you soon :)

Sooooosan, lol, my mother's club is a nonprofit org that brings together mothers in the community to meet other mom's, go on playdates, trips, mom's night out, etc, and also give back to the community through fundraisers and such. That's about the nutshell description! ;)

Have a great time, Catherine!!!

Hey Melody! Glad to see you're hanging in there.

Debbie, that sounds like a great club. Good for her for starting it!

I did Drill Max yesterday. I don't know if I was tired or what, but I might have changed my mind about BC being tougher. We're going to see a local production of "Beauty and the Beast" after church today. Not sure if I'll get a chance to work out, but if I do, it will probably be some cardio and yoga.

See you all in Hawaii!:)

All this silence makes me think there are some busy chinsters this Thanksgiving week! I didn't get a chance to work out for the past couple of days, but did Drill Max again today to make up for it. I'm beginning to doubt I'll be able to fit in the split strength work I was hoping to do until after Christmas. They're not strength or muscle-building, but these new workouts can be pretty efficient during time-crunched weeks.

What's everyone else up to? What are you all doing on Thanksgiving?

Hey Soosan...I'm barely here. Been super busy and then got a head type cold I guess, last night. I'm blasting it with garlic and vitamin C and it's getting a little better already today. Haven't worked out in about 2-3 days.

I am planning on making a Thanksgiving type dinner that is very loosely planned either Wednesday or Friday. Our family goes to serve all day in a restaurant in a local larger town. Anyone who can't financially afford OR has no family etc. can come and receive a free thanksgiving dinner. Many older adults come as well as many others who have no where to go, etc. We have been doing this for about 6 years and the kids REALLY look forward to it. They have been talking about it all week. So by the time they get home...they are tired and stuffed.

What's everyone else doin??? Holidays are fun!! We're gearing up for Christmas here!!

Briee

Briee, you and your family are just too good to be true! What a great thing to do with your kids.

Our church does a meals-on-wheels type of thing for our community, which is rural and quite economically polarized. Our family is planning to help with that in the morning and then go to DH's parents' house in the afternoon.

I hope your cold gets better, Briee.

Okay...you are WAY too sweet Soosan. We aren't too good to be true - but thanks for the kind words. Actually the kids have been talking about this for weeks. It makes them feel GREAT to help others. Sometimes its so fun I feel selfish. And you know all about that because of ALL your involved in missy!!!! Meals on wheels is a great program!! I could never get past "getting to the next house" though. Older adults are so eager to talk with you and what a blessing you will be to them tomorrow!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Cold's getting better!! Head is clearing...I'm in need of a HIIT and a heavy lift!! But chances are it's not happening today. x( x( x( Waves to all in chinnin land

Briee

Briee, we actually only have time to help "box" the meals. Another contingent is delivering them. That's why I admire your family so much - you're taking time from your family meal to give to others. We're doing a little bit and then racing to our comfortable family meal.
