Hello Chinsters!
Catherine - I appear to have gotten you mixed up with Soooooooooosan. I knew one of you would stop speaking to me if I succeeded in the u/a chin up. But you're the one who can DO them. I aspire to be able to do 20 or so in a workout! I love the way you guys incorporate them into Cathe's weight routines. I'm going to do a faux-P90X rotation after P90X, and I think I might do PLB standing legs, with chin/pull ups in-between, as a sub for Legs & Back. Or something like that. What is neuroma? LIC Cardio, BG Leg Blast....I miss doing Cathe's new workouts. They are wonderful.
The Brieemenator - you are such a crack up. Yes, I completely understand your aversion to yoga now. The 93 minute length is YogaX is daunting for even the most die-hard yogi, I think. Now are you telling me that you could do those 68 chins/pulls unassissted?? What do you eat? Drink? Breathe? How often do you pee, and what colour is it? When did you last have your teeth cleaned? If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?
Melody - having a clean house post-holiday is a very good thing. Please come do mine.
Sooooooooooosan - yes, once I decided to do it, I did it, and then some. I'm very sorry. But no, they were not consecutive. I had 8 sets of pull/chin ups to do in P90X's Legs & Back, and I started off three of the sets by jumping up to the top, pausing for a second, then lowering all the way down, and pulling back up. For two of those sets I was able to get myself respectably high on a second chin up, then had to put my feet on the high step to finish the set. The third time I wasn't able to get up for a second chin up. So, I guess I did them in sets of two. You all only have yourselves to blame for my success; you gave me some great advice a few weeks ago. I only did what I was told!
Have a great day!
Sandra
