::: CHEETAHS ::: Wednesday

RunninTeach

Cathlete
Good morning, cheetahs! :)

Jackie :: oooh, a heated bathroom floor? That sounds heavenly. Hope things slow down some. Too bad you won't be in Chicago this time around. I would have loved to have met you. But there'll be other opportunities, I'm sure.

Wendy :: thanks for the info on Jump Snap. What do you think of it?

Judy :: sorry to hear about the loss of your aunt...have fun college shopping!

Today Galloway's plan calls for a 30 min walk, so I'll go for either the TM or EXT. Will stay a little later at school and try to make more progress with the grading pile. Trying to do a little each day, so I don't get stuck with it all over the weekend. Slowly, it's getting back under control.

Have a kick-butt Wednesday!

Good Wednesday Morning :) :)

I am doing circuits today along with some tricep stuff and ab machine work. I'm also doing some major packing. I did pull the bags out and have all DH's stuff out. DD gave me her things last night. So the plan is to have all bags packed and ready to toss into the van :) I did go shopping but didn't go too crazy. I figure some stuff I can buy while there. No biggie. It does feel good to have things not fit because they are two big. Last year a brand new pair of shorts I brought along for the trip were too snug. This year they are falling off my hips. So it's all good :) I think it's my running that has helped with that :)

Plan is to leave tomorrow about 10:30ish. DD won't be going to school so I think I may get my sorry self to the gym at 6 and get that run in and then hoping to only have to get myself ready for the road. Wish me luck on that :)

ShellyC: Wow that is some workout. I'm tired reading it.

Wendy: Jump snap? At first I thought it was a GH thing :D I hope your dog sitting issues work out. I have a retriever and I hate to use a kennel as well. My parents usually watch him for us but they are going to Florida. So my oldest DD will take a break from her internship and come home. She has been putting in 45 hour weeks --sometimes longer since January, so she will enjoy some down time.

Dallas: I agree on Old Navy. I like their stuff...plus it isn't expensive. I love to buy stuff but I also love a bargain. I won't buy it until it's on sale :) What is X stretch?

Posh: So sorry for your loss. Having to pay taxes is never fun. That happened to DH and I when we bought our house---many moons ago. WE had NO money and here we had to PAY in. CRazy time but we survived.

Linda: Jalapeno Chips? I so know I wouldn't even be tempted on those :) Oh you reminded me ---it's 100days exactly since I had a kettle chip in my mouth. I don't miss those evil things at all }(

Judy: So sorry for your loss. DH is italian. His family is big. His mom though is not your typical italian mother. As a matter of fact it's her 87th bday today. My dad's as well ,he is 78. WE treated him out monday for his bday. We will take his mom out tonight before we take off tomorrow. Dinner will have to be 5--no later :) She si set in her ways :)

Well need a refill. :9

Good Morning Girls.

This morning's quote of the day (not that we ever had one before, LOL) is "Watch what you wish for...". I had wished for DOMS several days ago when I did not have any. Well ladies...My legs hurt more this morning then they did y'day and my chest and shoulders are workin' the DOMS pretty darned fiercely too!}( :7 }(

Today's work out is some kind of yoga for sure. Even if I pass on PPY#2 for right now I will do SOMETHING! The thing with the PPY's is that they are new and Mark is a new instructor to me. I have to really pay attn to what he's saying as his style and cues are different from what I am used to at this point. That being said, if I don't feel like being really patient and concentrating then I won't want to do it. I'm sure I will like it. I just need to be in the right frame of mind.

So I wanted to get up early and try jump snap. I slept later then planned. I could still fit it in but not sure if I will at this point. I might allow myself to be lazy and then try it this afternoon. It's not like I am going to be doing some long work out with it. It's jump rope. I suppose I'm lucky if I can last 10 minutes the first time out! LOL

Cathy: I like your plan to get a little grading done at a time so that you don't have an overwhelming situation on your hands come the weekend. How many weeks long is your marathon training schedule?

Kath: We pretty much have 2 people who would watch our dog for us when we go away. One is the guy who's dog is limping and the other is DH's dad but would ya believe it, he's leaving on a cruise either today or Friday! Other then that, we have left the dog alone in the house a few times with someone coming in to feed him, let him out, and give him some attn a few times a day but that was only for weekend stints at most. We will be gone from tmrw afternoon through monday night. That's too long to leave him alone IMO. I am also soured on that because the last time we left him he went upstairs and pooped all over the place. x( I have no problem kenneling him (now we know what is needed so if we have to do it again it will be easier!) but DH complains. He doesn't want to spend the money on it. He thinks they charge too much. I think it's a cost that you have to accept on occassion if you are going to have a dog. Unless ofcourse, you never want to go anywhere!:p

Gotta work this morning. I was supposed to do more packing y'day afternoon since I didn't have a work out to do but ofcourse that didn't happen. HOPEFULLY that will happen today even though there's a work out on the agenda. WORST case scenario I have thursday as well since we aren't leaving until the afternoon and I'm not working....YEAH, I tend to pack at the last minute no matter how good my intentions are!:7

hello all. i wasn't around much yesterday as i think the pollen really got to me and i had a killer headache by the afternoon. me, the cardio junkie, only did gs bsb yesterday. i just wasn't feeling the cardio. really wasn't feeling much of anything. i did get to yfh in the evening. love my eoin!

so, wt, you signed up for chicago. i have signed up to run it twice and gotten injured before (and had to cancel) BOTH TIMES!!! is it an omen? i was able to run my other marathons. i am tempted to run it with you as i have always wanted to run chicago, ny, and marine corps.

is anyone else going to do it? or be there?

HI Cheetahs-

This will be a quickie post with coffee. :)

Cathy- I must wish you an early [font+3] Happy Birthday!!!!! So you are doing a Galloway plan. Good for you! and good job plugging away at the grading pile!

Wendy- I am sorry about the dog sitting not being ideal. But it is worth the kennel for a good trip away! I forgot, Where are you going? I hope those DOMS dissipate soon!

Kath- Have a great trip and kudos to you for getting into a smaller size!

Lorrie- So, will you consider Chicago? I'm betting Cathy would love to have more Cheetahs there! How are the allergies today? Thanks again for the NROL sheets. They are working out great so far.

OK, today will be my one steady state run for the week.

Have a good trip to those traveling and a good week/weekend to the rest of you dear Cheetahs!

Good morning Cheetahville!

This has to be a quickie...I hope to check back later on tonight. I did Terminator Imax Extreme and had me a nice leetle sweatfest }(. I had forgotten how much I love that one!

Ooops, gotta run! Happy Hump Day everyone!

Good morning all! It's been a very unusual slow night.... not complaining mind you!;-) I'll take it when I can get it.

Wendi- another long busy work day for you I see. Great job in getting in a terminator workout before hand!

Lorie- OMG - No cardio!!! Are you having a good spring break so far?
I wish I could be in Chicago for Cathy but I'm running the 18 miler with Wendy that very same day. It'll be a prep for me for the Philly marathon in Nov. MCM is on my list of marathons I'd love to do some day... maybe next year.

Judy- Wow, you are a busy, travelling cheetah! Just got back it seems and now you are taking off again. Yes, I am accompanying Wendy on her 18 mile trek on Long Beach Island on Oct. 12.

Cathy- Hope you slaughter that grading pile today!!! Have a good walk.:7 :7

Wendy- Wow, what gave you such vicious leg DOMS? I'd say it's a perfect day for yoga!

Kath- Tomorrow is the big day!!!  :7 :7 :7 :7 Can you hear the beach calling your name?

Linda- Those vicious jalapeno chips }( }( }( I guess you're into spicy stuff!

Time to do a little work here. Today will be a mostly rest day for me. If I wake up early I'll do some core work and stretching... but that's all! (honest!)

ShellyC

Good morning cheetahs

Got the taxes done and e-filed and they were accepted in a few hours!!

Cathy...my first marathon goal was also to just finish....and...yeah...to beat Oprah's 1st marathon time...Yes, I did both!! You will do very well following a Galloway training schedule I believe, how long is his training program? I should look for a meatloaf flair...:D. Enjoy your 30 min on the TM or EXT and good luck with the grading pile.

Kath...nope, it is never bad to but new smaller clothes!! Congrats...:)..Good luck with the packing and I hope you all get going when you need too. Happy B-Day to your Dad and MIL...

Wendy..so sorry about the dog boarding problems. I hope something works out. Where are you guys going? I qualified for Boston a few times but never had anyone to go with...I probably should have gone by myself, but too chicken...the good thing is as you get older the qualifying time goes up 5 min every 5 years..(I think)..I probably gave most of the meatloaf to the dog...:D...way to go with the DOMS, I bet yoga will feel good.

Lorie..sorry about the pollen problems. We have had a lot here too from the Oak trees, so I am doubling up on my meds...Good job getting in a GS workout and some yoga.

Shelly...thanks for the fingers crossed! Nothing I'd like better than getting back to distance...well...maybe STS!!! Seriously, I feel just the same and hope some day to run a marathon with you...:)..Hope you enjoyed your 5 miles and HSTA yesterday. Hope you have a nice rest day today...

Jackie...I have run 12 marathons, and hope to get in more as soon as I can run more distance without pain. Glad I got the taxes taken care of...Way to go with Shellys speedladder workout!

Posh...How very sad about your friend...:(...sending {{{HUGS}}}..Sorry about the turnout for the taxes too! I never make enough money to have to pay alot. I have always wanted to do the "Flying Pig" marathon too...as it has always been one of my most used phrases "When Pig's Fly", and you would not believe the collection of flying pigs I have in my house! Sounds like Bay to Breakers could be doable for some of us next year.

Sunny...yes I am still doing freestyle for a few more weeks, I was thinking maybe the heavier weights I had been doing was bothering my hip and knees, so I backed off a bit. Sounds like a fun Wii game...

Dallas...I agree about Xstretch. No, have not posted a new hair pic yet...I never got Amy's 1st Hi/Lo down, so maybe I should revisit.

Linda...OMG, I LOVE jalapeno potato chips!!! Now I am hungry...:)...good job with 5.5 miles and all of GS Legs!

Judy...thanks for the vote of confidence! WOW, I had no idea you were from such a big family. Sorry about your Aunt's passing. I can completely understand the sentiments this week.

I am planning on GS Back & Biceps and a 4 mile run.

Have a great day...:)

Good Morning Cheetahs!

Today is a rest day from ETK, so I’ll do Cardio Coach Press Play on my bike. I’m looking forward to this one. Haven’t done it for a while. I’ll probably add on one of Steve Cotter’s Core Circuits. I think the first few weeks are pretty easy in ETK, so I’ll add where I see fit. :p I don’t want to loose what I gained. DH is gone through tomorrow night, so DD15 and I had fun. We’re all signed up for the race and will start training next week over lunch. Fun! PetsMart is okay. It’s better than him being at home all day every day and he did come home exhausted, they do have concrete floors, though, which is not good on doggie joints. We’ll see. I’m still looking. :p

Carole – I think they do still have the Presidio – it might be called the Emerald Nuts run now, though. :p I know there are several races that have you cross the Golden Gate. It’s supposed to get HOT this weekend – mid 80’s! Wow! Weird weather. It was cold yesterday. A 35 pound kettlebell is actually not too heavy – it’s mostly used for leg work – and we go heavier on leg work all the time. But, we’ll see. The ETK book is interesting. Such a manly book. :p

Shelly! I couldn’t imagine packing the garage either! Wow! You must be feeling like you’re not sure if you’re coming or going or which way you went. Yes, DD15 will run the Wharf to Wharf with me. She was actually excited when she got the registration email.

Jackie – I’m looking forward to running with DD15! I’ll have to try that speed ladder but a lot slower! :p

Thomasina – we’re happy to hear from you whenever you have time! So sorry to hear about your friend! That’s so awful! Miss Posh isn’t the only kiboshed spender – our taxes were through the roof too. Crazy. So I feel your pain Miss Posh! I’m definitely “down” for the B2B next year! It’s the most interest 7.26 miles you’ll ever run!

Kath – tomorrow is the day, eh? Did you get your packing done? Great job with the shorts that were too tight last year! That always feels good!

Wendy – Oh man! You’re 18 miler is the SAME DAY? That sucks!! And I totally understand the hassle of finding a place for your dog! That’s why I put Jimmy in the doggie day care that’s further away – they have overnight services where the dogs play all day, so I don’t have to worry about him. It’s crazy. You’re right – it’s my sales background – I’m good at convincing people they should do things. :+ I already have two of the group signed up.

Sunny – I managed to do a total of 8 TGU’s each side – 1 on each side with the 12k kb. My HR was up there, but I could have done a few more. :p I was happy with the workout. No more enabling! I’m on a spending hiatus from taxes.

Dallas – ITA on X Stretch – it hits places I didn’t know I had! Great job on the stairs! Glad to hear DS wasn’t that sick and even happier that the cough has calmed. 5 solid minutes of TGU’s were fun! :p I know – I’m sick. :p

Cathy – Especially if Shelly and Wendy are running the 18 miler and can’t be there, I feel I should come out. It’s such a big event! I think you’ll find kettlebells help with your running. I’d be interesting in hearing you opinion as you start training! Hope you get your grading under control soon! :p

Linda – Oh, I hate when I get into munchie mode! Hope you’re cured today!

Judy – Sorry to hear about your Aunt Mary! Boy and I thought I had a big family. I think it’s a blessing, actually. Glad you got to see relatives you rarely see though.

Lorie – hope the allergies get under control! This time of year is such a mixed blessing! I’ll probably be in Chicago to cheer on Cathy.

Wendi – glad to see you survived yesterday! Yes IMax Extreme is fun!

I think I’m finally caught up! Wow! Have a great day all!

judy-sure, i'd consider chicago. i have always wanted to run it! i heard it's a good course for a PR.

wendi-sounds like you had a great sweatfest!

shelly-yes, can you believe it? no cardio yesterday!!! i think i made up for it today, though.

carole-georgia is known for its pollen. during this time, our cars are covered in yellow! actually, everything is covered in yellow. it's GROSS!!!

christine-that is so cool that you will be in chicago!!! it makes me want to go even more!!!

so, today was lsd. i put on a movie (well, actually it's called "gridiron gators: 100 years of gator football" which is something i'm sure many of you will run out to get ;-) ) and ran for 90 minutes and did 10.95 miles. my tm only goes to 90 so, i couldn't finish that last .5!!! grrrr. i maintained a steady pace and am pretty happy with that. i only sprinted the last minute (thinking i could make it to 11!!!). anyway, it was a good run. i also did segment 3 of stretchmax after.

i wore the socks cathy sent me for christmas. they are soooooo comfortable and soft!!!

now, let's hope there's no pain tomorrow. i don't want to have to call my friend again and i KNOW he won't give me another cortisone shot and i really don't want to make those a habit anyway.

OH!!! GUESS WHAT?!?! i ordered two eoin dvds, so now i will have the whole collection!!! they are "pure and simple yoga" and "yoga for happiness 2: the surf edition." i can not wait to get them. i just really like him and his practice.

Hello Cheetahs!

Judy - Sorry to hear about your aunt. Glad you enjoyed seeing everyone. Sometimes it seems that these are the only occasions that can get a family together. Good luck with the college visits.

Cathy - It would have been great meeting you too. So are you still in the new position at school? Or, did the person you were replacing return? Good luck with the grading.

Kath - Have a safe trip tomorrow.

Wendy - So you have delayed onset of the delayed onset soreness, huh? :) Good luck with the packing. Really hate the unpacking part.

Lorie - Can't believe you didn't want to do cardio yesterday. Hope you're feeling better today. I hate the yellow crud on the cars too. Congratulations on getting the entire Eion collection! Enjoy the new ones.

Wendi - Good job on the workout! How did HayMax go?

Shelly - It's nice to have those slow days sometimes. Did you really rest today? Did ya?

Carole - Yay for getting those taxes done. Sis told me that everyone who had their refund direct deposit will be the first to get those little ol' stimulus checks. Wow, 12 marathons! I'm in awe. Hope that pain goes away so that you can get back out there.

Christine - I like CC PP. Hope you had a good workout. Glad PetsMart was good for exhausting Jimmy. What other places are you looking at? Enjoy the time with DD.

Today's workout was Slim & Lean. This is my least favorite of the group. Just has too many reps of everything. Also did some assisted/unassisted chin ups/pull ups. Think a week is enough of Jari.

Happy Hump Day!

Jackie

Afternoon Ladies!

I have to be quick here as I just got home. I had an early chiro and then DS had his allergy/asthma appt. The arm thing. He was a trooper. The little bumps appeared on mold, trees, cats, and chocolate. I lol'd on the choc. one. We go back for a bit more extensive one in a week. Anyway, I got ITR done before waking the kids. I still have the P90X-back & biceps to do.

I have to clean up the breakfast mess before the kids get here.

I'll be back for personals in a little while. :)

Just want to tell Judy that I'm so sorry for your loss. (((HUGS)))

Oh Cathy!!! What are you trying to do to me!!??! ;) LOL!

Good Afternoon Girls.

I have so much to do before we head out tmrw and I just don't wanna do it!x( I am in a funk and need to get out of it FAST!!! I could use Lorie's Tantrum Girl right about now! LOL

So my work out for today is done. I did 10 minutes of Jump Snap this morning since I was dying to try it out, 10 minutes again after work followed by 30 minutes of Yoga X and then a final 5 minutes of Jump Snap after that. I wanted to do another 10 but my poor shoulders just couldn't take it anymore! They are sore already from PLB y'day and jumping rope is obviously very much based on shoulder endurance! OUCHEES! }(

Tomorrow if I get up early enough I want to do a full body circuit work out. If I don't get up in time then I am going to try to hit the gym for a short run. I can't exercise at nap time because there won't be much of one. We are probably going to be leaving here by 2pm at the latest and I will need the time to shower, dress and make sure all last minutes things are in order.

Guess I'd better go force myself to do SOMETHING productive or I'll be sorry!

BBL with personals!

Lorie – Oh, you should go to Chicago! I’m happy to cheer you on as well! I have a loud voice and can handle being the cheering section for more than one! :p Now you can be blissfully happy with Eoin. I adore him, too.

Jackie – I can only take so much of Jari, too. I gave away my RTTC video, actually. I had a great workout, thanks! Very inspiring! Love CCPP! As for Jimmy - fortunately, I live in Silicon Valley – home of the disposable income, so there are many doggie day care places around. He’s going somewhere else tomorrow. We’ll see. :p

Wendy – So you’re enjoying your jump snap? Did you find a place for your dog?

I had a great time with CCPP. I keep forgetting how moving that workout is – in so many ways. I did Steve Cotter’s Core Circuit 2 – which is TOUGH over lunch. You’re supposed to do 3 circuits. I finished two and my abs are burning. I even went light on the kettlebell! Played with Jimmy a bit, and now I’m back at the office. Jimmy is going to a new daycare tomorrow (can you say spoiled dog?). It’s actually affiliated with the one I like, but is too far. This one is a lot closer. http://www.caninecorraldogdaycare.com/ . They don’t have boarding, but I have the other one for that. The birthday photos are too much. I really hope I don’t start getting birthday invites for Jimmy. My kids are grown, I don’t need to stress over what to get a DOG for it’s birthday. :+

Thought I'd leave you with a chuckle... I don't know why this had me chuckling, but it did:

Wendy ~ I’m joining you in the DOMS. Just lower body for me. Galloway’s plans are 29 weeks, incl. 3 weeks after the marathon. I usually pack the night before, too. Sending you anti-funk vibes! Think nice, warm sunny Florida happy thoughts. :7

Lorie ~ sorry the pollen count is up so high…glad the Gators kept you going. Third time could be a charm in Chitown!

Judy ~ thank you! Safe travels. :)

Shelly ~ hope you enjoy that well-deserved (mostly) rest day!

Carole ~ ^^^ 5s on all going smoothly with filing…what was Oprah’s time? :7…*lol* about meatloaf flair…blecchhh!...Galloway’s is 29 weeks, which includes 3 weeks post-mary. I am actually vacillating between the “To Finish” program and the “Fat-burning” program. Will email you for your advice, if you don’t mind.

Christine ~ you’re awesome! :7 :7 :7 Great job with the TGUs. Oh my goodness. What a mug on little Hank. Funny pic of the birds. Love that site!

Jackie ~ Yes, I am still team leader until September. Will be glad to return the reins, though I do like the extra cash. You’re right—unpacking is the worst. I have not brought myself to try Jari again in ages. The carb talk makes me slap-happy.

Dallas ~ you have an HM in August, right?

Hi Wendi and Kath!

OK, time to hit the TM and the grade at least one batch of tests.

Christine: LOVE the "chuckle". It made me laugh too!:7 I have not come to a decision on Jump Snap as I can not get the full affect of it until my shoulders are not sore. Good luck in your continued search to find a good "home away from home" for your little boy!:+ Yes, it's disappointing that I won't be able to be there to help you cheer Cathy on but if I don't do this 18 miler I'll regret it and I am just not prepared to commit to the marathon with Cathy. I wish I was but I'm not. :-( Don't feel too bad for me though. Shelly is going to run the 18 with me so I'll be having lots o' fun that day and we'll be thinking of Cathy and you and whatever other Cheetahs might be in Chicago often!:)

Judy: We are heading to FLA for a wedding. We have some time to ourselves as well. It's going to be a short trip though. Flying in tmrw night and flying home Monday afternoon. On Friday morning DH is playing golf with my mom's BF and mom and I will likely hang by the pool or do some shopping. That night we have the rehearsal dinner. Saturday I think we might go to a local flea market. The wedding festivities begin at 4pm that afternoon. On Sunday we are thinking about hitting Bush Gardens but aren't sure yet. It depends on how much fun we have at the wedding the night before. ;) We'll do SOMETHING though.:7 I believe you are traveling with one of your kids this weekend so be safe!

Wendi: Imax Extreme is EVIL! Good job completing it early in the a.m. girl!!

Shelly: I did PLB the other night. That's where the u/b DOMS came from. It's very localized in my upper/inner thighs but boy is it intense!}( The shoulder DOMS is from doing PUB y'day: Chest, shoulders and triceps. You are right, the yoga DID feel good. I hope you are enjoying your "mostly" a rest day today. :)

Carole: Glad you finally got your taxes done. It's just a weight off your shoulders when it's finally finished, aina'? We are going to FLA for a wedding. My ONLY first cousin is getting married. He's a HOTTIE and I thought he was gonna be a lifetime professional bachelor but someone finally tagged him. }( That is too bad that you never ran Boston but I can understand your not wanting to go it alone. I'll be that dog LOVED the meatloaf!;)

Lorie: Nice run today. Glad your Christmas sox were comfy. Congrats on the new Eionns that are soon to arrive! You'll have to review them for us once you've tried them. I don't have any Eionn's. Maybe you can enable me! LOL

Jackie: Good job pushing through a work out you aren't crazy about. Slim and Lean was my fave of Jari's when I was doing her vids alot. The last time I tried to do it though, it aggravated me for some reason. I barely lasted 5 mins. I hear ya on the unpacking! ACK!

Dallas: Your DS is allergic to CHOCOLATE!? Oh the horror! :7 I never used to think it was a big deal but as of lately I am having a love affair with chocolate. ANYTHING chocolate but especially dark chocolate. YUM!:9

Cathy: I am outta my funk. I forced myself to start packing and once I was in the groove I was okay. So Galloway's plan fits in pretty perfectly with the time you have until the marathon. How great is that? I probably should have done the walking as well but that meant having to go to the gym or get outside to walk or run almost every day and that's tough for me so I opted not to even try.

K, I'm all caught up and now it's time for dinner! BBL!

Still no upper body to report. UGH! I'm hoping after I p/u DS from soccer it can get done. We got his homework done at least. :)

Wendy ~ Well, it was raised just slightly on the cocoa. Hopefully, next week will tell us exactly what steps to take. I think mold was the biggest one. I told her we don't have any mold in our house. :p Can't control the goings on outside though. So how long will you be gone? Will you get to work out?

Cathy ~ Yep, I'd like to try the Aug one or the Sept one. I'm trying to get my stair buddies to join me. I'm a fraidy cat. lol :7 Ok if it's not too much trouble send me the plan. I'd love to look at it. Or just tell me the title of the book. I'm sure my library has it. I'll take a look. I did go on Runner's World.com and checked out that Smart Coach tool. Pretty cool.

Christine ~ You're coming to Chicago too!!??! Cool! :) That bird pix is funny. :7 Did you bump your head on a KB!?!!? LOL! TG fun!?!?!

Jackie ~ lol'd at your Jari comment. I did the latest one and liked it. I know what you mean about the progress and the house. I remember those days. Hang in there.

Lorie ~ Nice job on your run!

Carole ~ I always plan to try a little of HLKO after I finish my other workouts, but time has been a problem lately. Can't wait to see your hair!

Shelly ~ Enjoy your rest day!

Kath ~ Did you get some shorts? X Stretch is part of the P90X program. I'm exactly in the middle right now. I'm really enjoying it. :)

Linda ~ Actually the stair work out is outside on a pretty steep stair. There's a 125 stairs one way. It's nice being outside for a change. Nice workout y-day!

Oh, I've got to go....where did the time go!!!?!?

Wendy :: yeah, it came together kind of strangely, didn't it?

Dallas :: I posted two files on our yahoo cheetah group. One is the "to finish" plan; the other is the fat-burning plan. Still not sure which one I want to follow. Need to make up my mind after week 1. If you are not a member of the yahoo group, I'd be happy to email you the files.

I walked for 30 min. at a good clip while watching Forrest Gump. Will need to get a training log.

Have a great night!

Quick post. I managed to get my packing done. We should be on time tomorrow leaving like 10 or 10:30ish. Plan is for me to hit gym as soon as DH heads into work at 5:30. I know crazy but I'll be a happy girl if I get my workout in. I'll checkin prior to workout or post. I don't know how my body will respond to such an early workout. But always good to spice things up huh?

I'll post personals before I take off. We have a laptop coming with us--actually two. I'm married to a geek :) But trust me if the weather is nice --this girl will not be sitting next to a computer--so forgive me :)
