Mornin', cheetahs!

Lotta catchin' up to do!
Kristi :: we were posting at the same time yesterday so you may have missed my response to Amy’s Garmin question in the post just above yours…I enjoyed reading your “book”…no need to apologize! I am finding out things about the cheetahs I hadn’t known. My undergrad degree is in Communication, so initially, I thought I’d wind up working in advertising or PR. Sounds like an interesting & fun job and it’s great that your boss gives you the flexibility with your hours…That is so cute about Alexander complimenting others on their attire. He sounds adorable. Glad the first day was a success!
Christine :: Hope your friend in Hawaii is OK and the hurricane did, in fact, miss the island(s)! I did have to chuckle at your joke, though.
Carole :: I did move the desk by myself…I couldn’t find a custodian around to help at the time…plus they are so busy…they had to move a lot of teachers this year AND the school has not been running the AC…I think that’s just plain wrong. In heat like this, when you have folks doing hard physical labor!…When I see the chiro today, I’ll tell her that this migraine kicked in pretty much right after my adjustment…she thinks there is a connection with my nerves. PLB + a run sounds great…Love the pic of you & Cedie. I think the neener pic should be your avatar…congrats on dropping 2 lbs!!
Laurie :: happy 13th to DD!…*lol* about the bathroom door at work…that reminds me of a new faculty bathroom that was added in at my old school…it was a single restroom for women…for some reason, they installed a full-length mirror directly across from the toilet. Nice touch. I called it the Sharon Stone bathroom…Hey, that is an awesome compliment! Forget the lighting – that’s good genes & hard work!!
Jackie :: I thought I remembered you saying your last race was hot, but I couldn’t remember if the pics were from that one. I was supposed to do LL but didn’t get home til about 7 last night. Did so much physical work in the classroom that I was too tired to do anything anymore. I love LL, though, so I will fit it in somewhere else this week…Glad you liked your Target shirt.
Laura :: Happy anniversary!!!…sorry about the panic attack keeping you up…Sweet of your son to hang out & keep you company…glad the run yesterday made you feel better. Don’t let Shelly fool you about being the granny in the bunch ~ on my best day, I couldn’t keep up with her!…I joined the group in May 2006 (I changed screen names recently, so the date you see beneath my avatar doesn’t reflect that)…I am currently doing an earlier Cathe rotation – most of the time, I sub running for whatever cardio she calls for that day…in terms of how to keep track of who says what, I always open up a Microsoft Word document in another window and then switch back between the two screens as I write personals. When I'm ready, I just cut & paste into a post.
Shelly :: love the buff hottie pics in your picture trail…very cute! CRACKED up at the Carole shot. Too funny!!
Judy :: *lol* about not hitting the ball straight…I have only golfed chip & putt, but when I do, I wind up shouting “Fore!” at least once. I’ll bet you do get a great workout on the golf course caddying your own bag.
Wendy :: Thanks for the review on the iTread. Glad you liked it. I am starting to appreciate more and more workouts that pack a punch in a condensed amount of time…I’ve made good progress in the classroom but probably need one more day next week to wrap up. (If I hadn’t had to switch rooms, it would not normally take this long to set up.) Storage is the only real “issue” I’m having, so I do have to get rid of stuff and find ways to conserve space. Kind of geeky, but I’m going to post a pic for you guys of the new futon/reading corner…You laugh about the chaps, but I’m telling you, I have seen leather ones ON a chap or two around here before…oh yeah, we’re hiding all the good men here in South Jersey. In church, apparently.
Gayle :: We went through customink.com and did design our own. Custom Ink allows you to create & see your design online – it was a very user-friendly process – but I think they do design for you, too. Great customer service and the pricing was the best I could find. Very reasonable.
Susan :: glad your luggage finally made it to you…that is always an inconvenience, and it seems to happen a lot more these days! I understand why you carry-on whenever you can…How did the girls like the poodle purses?…I can certainly understand why it would be jarring when your dad visits. Your comments about the RT reminded me of my friend Donna. Her mother passed suddenly (no known reason) in April 2005, and it’s been so extremely difficult for Donna and her family. She carries part of her mom’s remains in a miniature urn she wears on a necklace, and when she was talking recently about her upcoming travels to Paris (she’s there now), she was saying how glad she is that her mom will be with her at least in that way but how much she would love a trip like that if she were alive.
Amy :: *lol* about being beat after working 10 hours with crazy kids. Know the feeling.
Love the scenic shots you added. If you can do PictureTrail, your Garmin will be a snap!
Yesterday, I intended to do Leaner Legs but when I finally got home at around 7, I was just too kaput. I will make up for it at some point in the week, though. I just can't miss my LL torture! }( Today will be PUB + a run.
