>>>>> CHEETAHS <<<<< Wed., 1/17

Hi cheetahs~
Thanks to construction near my school—an area which I don’t know all that well--I got lost on the way home. :-( So, I was a bit late getting in again and don’t want to battle the darkness issue. This is what I hate about winter!! On the other hand, it is only 29 degrees out there, so maybe I should be thankful. Really, if I’m following the planned rotation, PUB is on the agenda…I guess I’ve just had the itch to run since I haven’t been getting in more than 2 runs per week (!) since the New Year. Well, enough rambling…I’ll figure something out…

Marcia ::: enjoy tonight’s TS party! When DO you get a chance to rest?

Judy ::: Gotta bow down to you for running in 13 degree temps! Rock on!!

Karen ::: I haven’t done a Firm video in about a year…I wonder if I would find it easy. Ugh. I cringe just thinking about the word "fanny." *lol*

Christine ::: black ice! ACK! Were you able to do the iTrain BC at the gym? It does sound challenging. I do have a PayPal account…I will respond to the PMs with my email address for those who use PayPal as well as my mailing address for folks who want to go old school with a check. :)

Carole ::: you GOTTA try the B&G Blast if your leg/knee is up to it! Christine is right ~ that’ll put a hurtin’ on ya, for sure! How’d the ITB feel today?

Jess ::: I tried CF for the first time yesterday, too—I also liked it. Am getting the hang of her step routines more and more, which is an accomplishment for a klutzy broad like me! :) Glad you enjoyed your first visit to the Y.

Sunny ::: cute idea about the pics!

Susan ::: glad the back is on the mend again…hope you had a good workout!

Kristi ::: oh no! Sorry to hear DS came down w/ it now. I would lay off the inclines/hills for a bit. That is what would always exacerbate my calf problems, so I try not to run too many consecutive days (since I am surrounded by hills). And being more diligent about stretching helped, too.

Re: the t-shirts...are you guys OK with the graphic appearing in the upper left chest area or did you want it to be large & centered? Let me know!

Cathy :)

Kristi - great job on the treadmill run! Slow and steady - that's the way!

Judy - WOW! Judy, I'm impressed!!! I don't know how you ran in that, but WOW!! I didn't get in BC iTread because the gym was crowded and I didn't want to look goofy (and lose my machine), but I did do iTread 13 30 minute - a series of 6 flat and fast sprints with recovery. I think the treadmill was a bit slow as 7.5 mph didn't seem too bad... Of course, I only ran it for 2 minutes...

Cathy - great - do you have a preference for payment? Enjoy PUB - I have that on tap for Friday. I like the graphic on the upper left chest - although it might be fun to have it like that on the front then large and centered on the back, or am I asking too much?! BC iTread didn't happen - see my post to Judy. Oh well, got in a workout anyway.

Christine ::: I probably would've felt self-conscious, too. PayPal or check - either is fine by me. The only thing with putting the cheetah on the back of the shirt (I like that idea!) is that it would drive up the price. I don't know what it would be, though. I can check if that is something folks are interested in.

Laurie ::: if you stop in today, $21 U.S. dollars would be $24.63 Canadian. If you use PayPal, the conversion would be done automatically (not sure what they charge for the exchange).

Man, I'm sleepy this evening...but I need to workout!!!

Cathy :)

Okay - I'll Paypal you on Friday when I get paid. The BC iTread's first circuit is a 7 minute run followed by 2 sets of side lunges and imaginary jump rope. That did it for me as I could imagine the strange looks I'd get if I got off the treadmill and started lunging side-to-side, then acted as if I had a jump rump, then ran over to an elliptical.

Hello Cheetahs. I missed you and I missed my running.

I tried to stay away.

Just getting over a doosy of a cold, no exercise for 3 days - just rest. DS was sick too.

I cant' wait to get outside and run again.

I guess my little 3 miles will have to do for now.

Colleen

Christine - sounds good. No rush. The order probably won't even go in til Friday, and then, I think it's about a two-week turnaround from there. Yeah, I can imagine that'd have looked a little odd. :) I used to feel kinda weird just doing speedwork outside.

I opted for KM-cardio timesaver and have since been toiling away at a Microsoft Access project (from hell) that I have to do for one of my classes. It is SO pointless!! And rather tedious. Now my eyes are buggin' out from focusing on the computer screen for so long, so it's time to call it a night.

Good night, all! Will talk to you in the morning.
Cathy :)

Colleen - I'm so sorry to hear you and your DS were sick!!! I'm glad you're on the mend and are visiting us again!! We missed you!

Night Cathy - don't feel too badly about the MS Access project - I'm listening to my DD14 sing, en Francais that she's a pizza with cheese, much sauce, pepperoni but not anchovies... Over and over again - she needs to be able to sing it without thinking for French class. I'm going to be singing it without thinking!!

Good night everyone - and just think - you can a pizza, too!!
