I just got home from work, had a little leftover tikka masala, and now I'm wrapped up in my favorite plush blanket ready to catch up with the awesomest bunch of women out there.
Carole - I can now see how you pushed through the rest of that race...that must have meant so much to you. OMG ROFLMAO at the plate frame!!!! I probably would have said the EXACT same thing! Yeah, it definitely hurts enough to layoff the workouts...as it is, I have to limp around work all day long. How was the potluck?
Christine - I *wish* I had been stepped on...that only hurts for a few minutes, not a few days x(. Bosu Imax 2 IS fun isn't it? WTG!!! LMAO about having Brad Pitt in my basement...one can dream, right?
Lori - Wow, you have officially entered the "Shelly Training Zone"! I did get a little of my pep back...I just wish the foot would cooperate. Glad you had a nice time with the girls. BTW, you look fantastic in your avatar!

Dr. Shelly - Nope, nada in the achilles...which I guess is a good thing. This will sound weird but here goes...have you ever had a joint (wrist, ankle, etc) that felt just a little "out", meaning that if you could just get it to twist the right way and pop, it would feel perfect again? That's what the *side* of my foot feels like. Now, I'm not stupid and I know my anatomy, there's no joint there but that's what it feels like *shrugs*. It's getting more than just a bit annoying at this point x(. Wow, it looks like you decided to take a "rest" day today...just kidding

Lorie - Your cal/mile is very close to mine...kind of a letdown huh? I know that, for me, even though the cals burned may be the same (or even less) I definitely find that running leans me out faster than any other form of cardio. Try not to get too "into" the numbers and just use it as a reference. Anyway, I hope your hip feels okay tomorrow after your "cheat" day today }(. Oh, Lorie, weights on the Bosu are FUN!!!!

Dallas - Busy bee! Great run today! Yeah, I have problems with the heat in my house, too. If I forget to turn it down to around 60 at night I wake up with the worst sore throat and bloody nose...not nice. Have fun tonight with DH!
Alrighty, off to grab forty winks. It's really sad when you consider 8:00 your bedtime. I'm going to get up early to see *IF* I can get a workout in in the morning before work. My fingers are crossed that my mystery pain will mysteriously vanish tonight. Nighty night Cheetah babes!
