Cathlete
Hi cheetahs :)

Edited b/c part of my post somehow got deleted...

I wish I’d slept in this morning, but unfortunately, I didn’t and am dragging a bit on not much sleep. It’s cool and breezy out there, though, so I’m not in any rush to get in my run. I'll do that later along w/ the KM leg drills.

The personals I missed last night…

Jackie ::: the Greek yogurt sounds good…I usually try to get the most out of my pedis and they do last a long time at the place where I go, but the last one (the tropical French with a pink tip) did not. I’m happy with the classic French look, anyway. No more experimenting :)…enjoy your massage today! Sounds like your quads and hams could use it. I used to be tight mostly in the calves and hammies, but lately I am noticing more tightness in the hip flexors. You have such a diverse w/out library…I’m wondering: do you have Classical Stretch? I have seen some positive comments about that lately and can't remember if it is one we discussed.

Kristi ::: Busy weekend for you…enjoy your run today, if you can fit it in.

Gayle ::: great job sticking with the program even after some late nights. So are you ready to start your new job? You’re going to be monitoring the lunchroom, right?

Wendy ::: wow! Sounds like some pretty big thunder-boomers near you! We lost power for a bit but earlier in the day and it wasn’t in the middle of a storm…Stinks that it interrupted your workout. Does your portable DVD player run on battery power?…My DVD player gets funky with certain workouts, so I use my laptop when needed.

Amy ::: glad you enjoyed a movie night with your friend after a long day at work. I haven’t seen that one...I have some interesting committee work on Monday and Tuesday...We are responsible for planning a two-week, at-home curriculum to be used in the event of a pandemic flu outbreak. It will have to be something the kids can work on independently, with the assumption that there may not be internet, electricity, etc.

I don't know if any of you saw it, but during Cathe's chat yesterday, she mentioned where she got the brown shirt everyone's been asking her about: a store called Arden B. I checked them out online and they have some pretty cute tops on there.

I need to get some new work pants. I dropped a couple of sizes during the school year last year and tried to hold off buying too much stuff b/c I hadn't been (and am still not) at my goal. It made for some uncomfortable days with pants falling down and also some too-baggy looks. So although I still want to lose a bit more and therefore don't want to spend a whole lot, I need to give my professional wardrobe a little boost.

Have a GREAT day, everyone! BBL...

Good Morning Cathy and all Cheetahs who follow.

Today is my rest day though I might do the abs I missed y'day b/c of the storm. My legs are pretty banged up this morning. They don't appear to hurt as much as when I did B&G in full a couple of weeks ago but they are DEFINATELY talkin' to me!;) I love it!:7

Cathy: I read your post to Amy and thought "How bizarre." That pandemic flu thing really threw me for a loop! The schools actually prepare way ahead of time on the off chance something like that would happen?? What I don't understand though is how loss of electricity/internet comes into play? How would there possibly be none? I hope I don't sound silly or foolish but I really have never heard of this before and it's got my curiousity peaked. :) You know, LOL, I am such a dope! I never even THOUGHT to pull out the portable dvd player y'day to get the ab work done! DUH!:p Yeah, we usually don't get much in the way of T-storms around me for some reason and they USUALLY aren't bad ones when we DO get them but once in a while they can FIERCE and knowing how I hate them, it was tough to work out through the one y'day. I am glad I perservered though and that the power didn't go out until the end. Ofcourse, I could have done with out the heart attack at the end! LOL How exciting that you get to shop for new clothes! Buying clothes is so much fun after weight loss, isn't it!? The only other time I've had so much fun buying clothes is after I had my boobs done!}(

Wendy ::: that is exactly what I wondered when the committee work was posted. I think the idea is that if there is a massive outbreak of something like that, the workers might not be able to service the power plants and things like that. I was thinking, too, that if there is some kind of health crisis like this, is anybody going to care about his/her kid doing algebra? But I believe it is a state-mandated thing...I love t'storms and usually find them calming...I'm weird like that :p...of course, some can be a bit TOO close...It *is* fun to fit into smaller sizes as you lose weight, but the dilemma when the process is slow is that you are still in-between where you were and where you want to be, so you don't want to spend a whole lot...I have been purchasing in little spurts every few months to try to get me through, but I realized as I start thinking about all aspects of school that I need to get some things for the fall weather...How long ago did you have the girls done? Enjoy your rest day today and your B&G DOMS.

Hey Cathy.

A T-storm calming? What are you, NUTS!?!:7 What you said about manning the power plants is what I thought of too. It's ALL I could think of. Perhaps we are correct. Yeah, if something like that happened I don't know that school work would be in the forefront of a parent's mind!:p I got the girls "improved" when I was 30 years old so about 5 years ago...wow...September will be their anniversary as a matter of fact!:7 I went from an A to a C cup. I have lost weight/body fat since having them done so I think I have lost what little natural tissue I had so I am smaller then when I first got it done BUT I can't imagine how incredibly flat I'd be now if I HADN'T done it! Sometimes I wish I had gone bigger but for the most part I am very happy. I think it looks very natural and not something anyone would think I wasn't BORN WITH if I didn't tell them differently. My SIL got hers done shortly after mine. I "inspired" her. LOL I guess because of her size and the way she is built, even though she also only went from an A to a C, she now has "stripper boobs"! LOL I am secretly a bit jealous of this but I think it's kind of obvious that they aren't real which wouldn't thrill me. Oh well, I guess the grass will always greener on the other side, right? lol

Good morning Cheetahs - I'm off and running this weekend as usual.;-) Last night I went for a two hour walk with my mom while DH worked and DS was at a buddy's house. Today we are golfing in a tourney at 9AM. The weather is suppose to be cloudy (probably raining most of the day) and high's only in the 60's. This is such a huge change, I'm going to have to dig out my sweatershirts for sure now.

I hope to get back on to see what you are all up to and catch up on personals.

Take care,
Marcia.

*lol* Yes, I am probably nuts. I even have one of those sound CDs of just thunder. I used to be scared of storms when I was a kid, but as an adult, I enjoy them -- of course, within reason. There are times I do get spooked.

Yes, that seems to be the first place I lose but the one place I wouldn't mind keeping it. *lol* If I had it done, I would prefer the natural look, too.

Good morning ladies.

Cathy & Wendy....you 2 need a live chat online! LOL Interesting stuff!

Hi, Marcia.

The weather here was crazy yesterday. It went from sunny and 85 to severe T-Storms and hail. lol Wierd.

I finally got to bed early last night. That made for an early morning today, for my workout. Pulled out another oldie...Step Jam and then Ab Hits.

This weekend is quiet for me. I have to cut the grass today and DS has baseball practice this AM. But that's it. My 'friend' and I are taking our 5 kids to the pitch n putt 9 hole golf course this afternoon. Maybe a cookout tomorrow.

BBL

Marcia :: I'm wearing a sweatshirt right now too! Crazy, this weather. Enjoy your golf tournament ~ hope it stays dry.

Gayle:: sorry, have I reached my posting quota for today already? :p Enjoy chip and putt.

Marcia and Gayle: Enjoy your golfing today!:)

Cathy: My best friend has the opposite problem. She is naturally large chested and when she gains weights they get bigger but when she loses weight they DON'T SHRINK!  She is heading for needing a reduction. She wants to lose quite a bit of weight and if she does and they don't get smaller she will seriously need to consider the surgery I think...

Good morning cheetahs! Wendy and Cathy are already busy chatting up a storm I see:) It's been a busy night at work but not too bad I guess. I was exhausted yesterday after coming home from the meeting and doing AllBodyAttack. I actually blew off the EXT workout I had planned:eek: Well, today will be an absolute total rest day:7 :7
Well, I MAY do some ab work if I wake up in time..... we'll see;-)

Cathe- Don't ya just love shopping for new smaller clothes!!! You go girl!

Wendy- Happy rest day to you babe! BTW, I think you look pretty natural, ya coulda fooled me!

Marcia- ooooh sweatshirt weather already!? Makes for a nice walk or run anyway.

Gayle-It's about time you had a quiet weekend!!!! Glad you caught up on your sleep.

Time to get busy here. Have a great one y'all!

ShellyC

Holy Moly! Shelly blew off a work out!? OMG I think the world is gonna end now!:7 :7 :7 :p Just teasin' ya, girl! (((hugs))) Thanks re my natural girls. I have to admit though that I would love to walk down the beach in a skimpy bikini top with my SIL's boobs for a day and see what happens!;)}(

HOLY MOLY is right! Maybe that's why the weather was SO wierd yesterday???

My kids are actually drinking Hot Chocolate right now! LOL Imagine..the temp drops 20 degrees in mid-August and they're drinking hot cocoa! LOL

About the breast topic above...a friend of mine (and a teammate for my relay marathon next month) just had a reduction done last week! She was very very large and has lost over 40 pounds and still losing, but her chest has not gone down in size at all! Until last week, that is...she went from a DD to a size B! My friends and I were giggling like little girls last night....how do you check out a friend's boob job without staring! LOL

OK...time to shower!

Gayle

Loved reading the posts this AM Cheetahs!

You are too funny!

Cathy - I wish our school did some planning for natural disasters and things. We haven't had that "Code Blue" drill yet either! These days, as teachers, we need to be prepared for these types of things so that we can protect the kids of course, and ourselves! Cathe's shirt on the RT was beautiful. I have never been to Arden B. but heard it was nice! Enjoy your day Cathy!

Wendy - sorry to say ask flat out - but you did get a booby job? When did you do this??!!!! You are one funny Cheetah! :) Just curious here, maybe I missed something in the other posts!

Shelly - Are you really missing a workout today? Good for you girl! Rest that hardcore body of your's! ha ha :)

I ate something last night (well it may have been that buffalo chicken wrap and french fries - yummy!) that is not settling wonderfully in my stomach. No real pains, but I can tell it is unsettled. I hate eating like this, even though it tastes so good going down, and especially after a long work day! :)

Ok Cheetahs, BIG HELLO'S to you all! Enjoy your weekends!
I am going for a good 4 mile run now. The weather is amazing here in Boston! We too had a huge thunderstorm and now we are in the 70's! Perfect day for a bb-que! Off to my girlfriend's for that one later on today! :)

Catch you lovely Cheetahs later!
Amy :)

Good for you Wendy! You gotta do what makes you happy! :)

I don't have that problem unfortunately! I am a large C and hate it. (sorry to complain here - I know most women may like to have more so again - sorry!!!!!!)

Being a teacher - and having little ones always want hugs and stuff - it can be ackward. I try to stay covered and protected there if you know what I mean.

With the little ones at work - I do not touch any children (because of the rules and laws) but I am sorry - if a kid comes up for a hug I am not going to push them away (well maybe after one or two seconds). Especially with the inner-city kids that I teach. They need as much love as they can get, poor things! I could take them home - some of them - if I could. Or at least take them to a movie.

Anyway, enough about my love for kids! Can't wait to have my own someday though! :)

Take care,
Amy

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...so was this the first time with Kickmax wearing weighted gloves? I am like you, I have always liked thunderstorms...:)..How nice to have some cool & breezy weather. It is always nice to get some new clothes when you drop some weight. I am happy the RT made me spice up my workout and running clothes a bit. No more holey t-shirts or shorts!!

Shelly..I am really thinking about the LV half. I have not been to LV in a way long time and hopefully it would be just one direct flight!! I actually did the original BM upper and not BM2. Enjoy your rest day, you porbably worked out very hard yesterday.

Wendy...sorry abut the power outage. I hate when that happens. Enjoy that leg DOMS. I bet it would be fun buying clothes after getting the girls done. I used to think about doing that but now I don't really care, flat is fine...:)

Marcia...your walk with your Mom last night sounded nice. Enjoy the nice weather change

Amy...I hope your stomach feels better. Eating stuff you normally avoid can do bad things to you! Have a nice run...

Jackie..I always say I should stretch more but when my time gets away from me, stretching is usually what I don't do. Good workout yesterday. Enjoy the massage. I had one scheduled for last Tues but my massage therapist got in a rear end accident, so I had to reschedule...

Kristi..that is cute, I bet it does seem sometimes you live in a circus!! I would just think the kids would really have fun at the Circus. Yes, that server was just not real nice...

Christine...well maybe we can try for another type of get together..:)...when is your overnight trip?

Gayle..I have always tried driving a marathon course the night before the marathon. So walking the relay sections would be a good idea to me. Sounds like you and Zach had a nice day. StepJam was about the only Cathe workout I didn't like much...

I am planning on KPC and some ab and legwork.

Have a great day...:)

OK, Wendy, I must admit that I didn't know about your self-improvement project either! LOL

Me? I don't need augmentation (either larger or smaller), I just need suspenders to pull them up! LOL

Hey Cheetah Babes!

Quick post today, as it's going to be a busy one! I have to get everything done today that usually takes me the weekend as I leave tomorrow around 9AM for the airport x( Today is my "long run" of 5 miles. I might try to get in GS Legs standing as well. We'll see how I feel. I asked Jimmy this morning if he wanted to go running and his butt started wiggling. Too funny. DH and I ended up going out for Sushi last night. I haven't had Sushi for ages. It was very good.

Hello to all and dsoeey for the short post!

Hi Cheetahs-

I didn't get a chance to read up on the postings here. Hopefully nice weekend plans are set!

yesterday was DM total body premix and a 3.5 mile run with a new route.

I found a park in a residential area with bathrooms open. Starting and ending at this park allows me to run is safe neighborhood with out excessive hills (like my own neighborhood) and have a bathroom at the start and finish.

DS had 3 boys sleep over, so I canceled my golf plans. Later I'm hoping to get in a longish walk (4-5 miles) Tomorrow will be golf, hopefully.
