Judy…I know what you mean about pushing the hills…I feel like I’m dying sometimes and practically at a complete stop when I reach the top (I can only imagine what it must look like to passing drivers), but I do feel stronger afterward. It makes for good training. Enjoy your date night!
Laurie…Glad to hear that Andy is doing so well. Great news. Enjoy that shopping/new running gear high! This might sound nuts, but I also feel that I run a little stronger when I’m breakin’ in new gear for the first time.
Carole…I thought the Garmin calorie counter seemed high, too. I mainly just want to see the distance/pace. Keep the good reports about John comin’! I hear you on BC…I will be taking a break from that one for a while. I’ll save it for a day when I’m feeling especially masochistic.
Adri…glad you finally had nice weather for a run. Let me tell you, I was barely even CONSCIOUS by the time I got to the leg conditioning drills. The only thing I wanted to kick by that point was the TV screen. You’re welcome to the Ali McGraw tape…I suppose PM me your mailing address?
Any other takers on any of those videos?
Katrina…Which do you prefer – outdoor runs or TM? Do you find one “easier” than the other?
Jess…hope you had fun with the ILs. That’s nice of you to hang back with your friends. I think it’s hard to run with a partner if you’re not at a compatible pace. Usually I prefer to run alone.
Christine…continued good luck packing the boxes.
Laura…hillwork and intervals have helped me gain speed in the past.
Wendy…sorry Joey’s had a rough day (and you, too). Fantastic that you got in a workout after all. Boy, now I’m getting a guilt trip bc even though this morning I foresaw a run + GS BSB, I have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING today. *lol* And you know what? I really don’t think a second wind is happening. Oh yeah, I'm startin' to feel the DOMs setting in from KM. I'm thinkin' DrillMax is going to be INSANE! Have fun tonight.
