Cheetahs! Saturday 8/19/06

Well, I'm back to report that I did do MM after all. I just felt like it. Whew! Haven't done that one in a while. She really clobbers you on the tri's in that one! Feels good, though. One of these days maybe I can change my name to "got guns." :)

Hey Cheetahs!!!

I’m FINALLY here!

Wendy – 5 MILES!!! YEAH!!! You’re doing so well, Wendy! I’m so impressed. And yes, you should be exhausted, but you won’t the next time!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!

Cathy – Good job on avoiding the Crab fries (although if you and I ever meet, we’re not skipping those!!!). Sounds like you did a good job! All things in moderation!

Judy – great job on the hilly run! Yes, sometimes it’s okay to take a break from running!

Laurie – hope work went well. You’re doing so well – keep up the fabulous work!!

Carole – iTrains are better/harder than CC’s. I would actually recommend the iTrains over the CC’s. My fillings were preventative, so they did not go deep. It’s not that big of a deal. :p The sound was more bothersome than the feeling. The worst it got was like really cold water over sensitive teeth. I wouldn’t do it if they went deeper, though…
Is there a way I can donate to John’s recovery? I would be happy to buy something to help. Let me know.

Katie – yeah, sometimes an evening at home is just wonderful, although I really liked Pirates of the Caribbean. Glad you had a good time!

Elaine – I guess we need to get others involved as well! Hope your pace run went well!
And I know it sounds weird, but I’m going to echo everyone in that I lift heavy in my legs and I seem to do better…

Natalie – WELCOME!!! We’ll love having you here!!! Your running partner is a mother of 8? WOW! Nice of your DH, though! We’re happy to have you here!!

Shelly – Doesn’t sleeping in feel fabulous? I’m glad you got to do that. HCE #1 is tough! Way to go on it!

WAY TO GO JESS!!! SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT RUN!!! YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOURSELF!!! does happy dance around the room with Jess

Laura – hand splinting? I have my fingers cross for the elliptical!

Pamela – Break a leg on your job hunt. Hope all goes well! HAPPY ANNIVERSERY! 12 years is a long time!!

Well all, I ended up going to the gym with DH and doing Itri - #8 – 15 min. run, 15 minute climb, 20 minute cycle and 20 minute run. Running after the climbing and cycling was interesting, but I did it. Then we went to the San Jose Jazz Festival. That was a blast. We’re had such a good time there!!! Sorry I’m so late checking in!
