***CHEETAHS***MERRY MONDAY***

Carole—no, I don't blame you on bypassing the earbuds on this one. You want to be alert when encountering those types!...So glad to hear your knee's behaving...I love to laugh, too. And OMG, I thought of you b/c there was a waitress in the movie who reminded me somewhat of Helga! And her name was Helen. *lol* Anyway, great way to pass time on the EXT--with some laughs. Also like to watch the Seinfeld reruns when on the machines...Ha, I was thinking the same about the grenade. That would've been PERFECT for when I worked in the legislator's office...It was a little sad about the house, but in the end, I'm grateful for the opportunities I had to visit with them and for the memories we had there. Those are indestructible, ya know?

Wendymaybe a shorter yoga practice would be workable for you.

Karen—enjoy the cozy fire & some well-deserved relaxation. Glad your mom is on the mend with her sense of humor intact. I think Bryan Kest is the one they used to call Mr. Yummypants around here. *ha ha* Haven't ever tried his DVDs, though.

Hi Cheetahs! No work for me tomorrow. Yippee!! :D

Linda - Glad you had fun at the concert and came away with your eardrums in tact. :DSo the workout fooled you, huh? Hope you were still able to get a workout in.

Wendy - Chocolate martinis have to be good just for the simple fact that it's chocolate. Good for you being a good little girl. Thanks for the laugh. Too funny!

Cathy - RP told me to shorten my steps and keep a steady even pace. I let him go ahead of me and I watched him do it too. I did handle it better too. Loved your funny too. :D

Carole - Did you get all those chores done?

Karen - Glad you had a nice relaxing day in front of the fire. Glad to hear your mom is in good spirits. She does sound quite colorful.

I'm curling up on the couch again tonight. Sure hope I can stay in bed until 6 in the morning.

Have a good night.

Wendy – Glad you had a good time! Thanks for the hugs for DH! They are working! Wow! What a workout you got!

Wendi – thanks for the hugs and good vibes – they are obviously working! Sorry my Mish Mosh got you a little too good. :( That is a toughie, though isn’t it? I did go lighter on the weights, but I was exhausted for a few days, too, afterwards. Which, of course, means I cannot wait to try it again!

Carole – ITA with you on the political and flaming threads. So not cool! Yes, the floor work on B&G is killer! The standing work isn’t a walk in the park either. Yowza! That has to be hard about your mom’s house. Especially, also, she won’t be so close. You’ll never get fully over that, which is okay – you’ll get more nostalgic. :D

Dallas – Yes, my friend lives northwest of Chicago. I’ve been there, but cannot remember the name of the town to save my life. Too funny about you also only doing the abs in ASC3 – we should pick a day and do it together! :p Have fun with B&G

Brighton – WELCOME!!! We’re always happy to have another Cheetah! I hope your foot heals very quickly and you can resume your training soon!

Jackie – Glad you are enjoying your new running partner! Yes, I enjoyed yesterday with DH. It was very nice. Sounds like a really nice workout you got today! Lucky duck having off tomorrow! Enjoy a nice relaxing day for me, will you?! :p

Linda – thanks for the crossed fingers!! :p I was done with the pizza presses half way through, but I kept up. Major Glute DOMS in my future! :D Too funny about the “innocent” looking lower body workout! If I take a break I find the first few workouts are killer, then they kind of settle down and my body remembers again.

Cathy – thanks so much for your support. So nice to have a shoulder to lean on! I’ll send that disk to you – I’ll get it out tomorrow. I love Eeyore – I so identify with him – but I know what you mean! :p I totally agree with you – your cartoon had me giggling. And your grenade made me LOL! Thanks for the smile.

Karen – Oh hope you enjoyed your fire and a book! I love that! Hope your neck loosens up! Yes, I’m not a fan of hospitals either. We’re not in the grip of flu season yet, luckily!

Good news! DH went to his GP – the one who found the Hep C in the first place and knows the entire history. He got chest XRays, which came up negative – so no broken rib. But he also looked at the ultra sound and compared it to the first ultra sound and saw no difference. He thinks DH only strained a muscle pretty badly while lifting and aggravated it with his travel and that’s what caused the pain. JUST in case, DH is keeping his appointment with the specialist, but we’re pretty relieved!!! Now I’m off to see if I can still walk – B&G got me good! :p

Welcome Brighton ~ I love your name! Where about in the Chicagoland area? I’m south. Guess that’s why I cheer for the White Sox. ;) I like both teams really.:) I’m also a SAHM with a 10,9 and 5 y/o. Sorry about the foot. I can totally relate to being sidelined with a foot/ankle injury. You can work on your six pack! And upper body. :)

Jackie ~ Well, now you have to tell us your running partners secrets. :D What does he say to get up those hills easier? :D And the breathing? Re: the Bears beating another team…not likely. LOL Well, I was told their schedule is easier. ;) enjoy your day off!

Linda ~ Sometimes we have to push ourselves to go out, right? Glad you went and had a great time.:) How are those legs feeling?

Wendy ~ That is too funny re: the pic w/cap. I, too, wore similar outfits in my aerobic teaching days. I did get the SS premix in…it was only 34 min and I had done about a 1/3 of it before I had to stop. I did not, however, get to that FW. Shhh, don’t tell Cathy. ;) Were supposed to be yogis together. I would have loved to have done that instead of groceries, cooking, laundry, homework, etc. LOL I see you had housework too. Get it all done?

Cathy ~ IA re: the faking making it stick. LOL about your pre-workout hydration!!!! :D You are SOOOO funny! :D Hey, sounds good to me! ☺ I have a Rodney Yee, is that his name, PM workout. However, I remember how you feel about his practices…or should I say “shorts”. LOL I do like my Shiva Rea –Yoga Shakti DVD. You can mix it up and make your own workout. I could have used that “Complaint Department” in my office days. ;) I watch Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond re-runs when I have nothing else Tivo’d while on the machines. Oooo, you have to try Mr. Yummypant’s practice. ha ha ;)

Carole ~ Christine mentioned that Inn. Thanks! Did you get that S&A workout done? Well, the spin bike is a great substitute for running. I’ll try out a 3 mile run soon. Not tomorrow…B&G is planned. ;) I know I missed this, but where is your mom moving?

Karen ~ That’s how my neck is when I have a flare up. Did you ice it? Thanks for the prayers.:)

Christine ~ Ok, give me a few more days to make sure this hip thing is a thing of the past, then I’ll be ready to tackle ASC3.:) Yeah, good news for your dh!! Glad he’s keeping his appt for precautionary reasons though. Enjoy that DOMS. I’m only doing a B&G premix tomorrow. :p ;)

Off to bed...tomorrow is an even earlier start. I probably won't be able to get here until the afternoon.

Have a good night!
