Hi all!

No time to post much – at work and on a very quickie break – but I must comment on a few things from when I snuck a peak at the thread the other day….

Congrats to Wendy on your stellar performance in the half this weekend!

and

WOWZA! Judy, Judy, Judy!...you looks absolutely MAAHVALOUS dahling …well, so does hubby, but….

Ok, I’ll try to catch up on the reading and posting tonight….we’ll see…it’s been so dang busy for me but at least I’ve gotten in a few runs!

Ciao for now Cheetahs!

Posh

Good evening Cheetahs!

Lorie: ITA with the "summer off" thing. A lot of us take classes that the district doesn't pay ANY amount of in order to keep our certification every 5 years. By the way, which is now over $200! Jeesh! x( I will not pout here, as I CHOSE this profession and do enjoy it. I have never done Eion yoga. Yoga is so good for you!Sorry about the am meetings. They stink!

Judy: I wanted to tell you you look fit and fabulous in your pics! Your DH must feel good having such a beauty on his arm!

Sunny: What is afterburn? I have never heard of that.

Kath: Nice workout combo there. Kudos on cleaning the house. I am doing a little housework this evening too. Enjoy the CAB! I agree about the coffee. Sometimes I get the pot all ready the night before so all I have to do is pour in the water and wait about a min., as we have a Bunn. :)

Wendy: Today was a great day for the park here in Michigan! That is nice to get your DS playing outside. I have some kids who don't like going outside. I can't imagine that. When I was a kid that is all I did! That is funny about the couch. I can't remember where we bought it. Thank you re: my little Ellie. She is an Irish Setter, not as big as the ones now.

Christine: Yeah, Gin Miller never bothered me. I bought a Mindy Mylrea bootcamp dvd last year and watched it. OMG, I couldn't even watch the whole thing. I knew there was no way that I could do that dvd because she drove me crazy. I am trying to stick to Cathe because it seems I waste my money buying others. I do not have gym style legs, but I bought it for my friend for her birthday. I just bought HSC. I read some reviews here and thought it sounded right for me. I have HSTA and don't really love that one.

Carole: I did enjoy the jumproping, right up my alley! Yay for you going to Chicago! :) You girls will have a hoot I'm sure! Great on the hill repeats!

Jackie: I'm feeling my hammies from BC already! I don't do a whole lot of weight training so I am a wimp. I am trying though. I'm not such a disciplined Cheetah as the other ladies here. I just kind of do what ever I feel like doing. I do Itreads all the time though! They are fun!

Tuesday's are good days for me at school. On Monday I have no prep time and staff meetings after school, so I am worn out when I finally get home. Felt good today after my workout, worked with a student after school, visited DH at the flyshop and came home and am cleaning a bit and doing laundry. Tomorrow we have ACES. It stands for "all children exercising simultaneously." We can wear work out clothes and at 10:00 we all go outside and do exercises to music. Our music teacher is also a dj. It is really fun! :) I am LOVING not to have to iron my clothes in the morning! That's it for me. I have to empty the washer. Have a GREAT night!

One more thing . . .

I need some advice. I had a parent approach me about tutoring her daughter over the summer. I have never done this before, as the last two summers I went to Montana. She said "think about what you would charge." I already work with this girl after school, she is a gem and we have a good time together. It would only be an hour per week. I talked to her teacher from last year who did the same thing that this mom wants me to do and she said she didn't charge anything. This is a very good teacher in my opinion. But, I kind of need the money. I WOULD do it for free because I really like working with this kid. I am not sure what to do. I also might be running the canoe business at my Dh's shop. We are waiting to see if we get the permit. That means my time is valuable. I want to tutor this kid. Do I charge or not? If so, how much? I would like your input as parents and teachers. Thanks!

Evening Ladies!

I tried out the gym daycare thing w/the pagers. However, when I got there they said they no longer do that, but that I could use my cell phone. :) I got in iTrain outdoors #6/60. I did a half mile walking warm up before I started. I got in 7 miles. I got home and did Flexible Warrior (running) stretch. That was this AM, and I'm feeling my legs a bit. Probably should do another stretch before bed.

Cathy ~ Did you get my e-mail about sleep remedies? Sorry you're having trouble. I'm in stretch as well. How's the running going? The heel lift working?

Gloria ~ I took an online review course for the ACE exam. It really helped me learn - how much I don't know. x( Back to the manual. ha So, the original BC? I haven't done that one in a long time. I've had tutors for my children for the past three summers. I would not have felt right not paying the tutor. She's giving up her time and was a tremendous help to my DD. Can you talk to the parent and just explain your situation? It would be her choice then. I see nothing wrong with charging for your services. I tutored (before kids) as well and waaaayyyy under charged. ;-) Your Tuesday ACES day sound fun. :D Thanks for reminding me about the dish washer. :p ;-)

Lorie ~ Bummer about the ticket, but at least you got out of it...well, kinda of. So, what kind of community service will you have to do?

Sunny ~ Try that weighted vest on the stairs yet? We're supposed to go again tomorrow, but I think the weather may be rainy again. :( IA, it is addicting, but worth the torture. }( Wow! Can you tell us more about this vomit inducing workout?!?! lol Can't wait to hear your reviews on the Jump Snap too.

Kath ~ My coffee sure was good this AM as well! Way to go on the clean house. It's never ending isn't it!??! x( Today was laundry catch up day. Good luck getting it all done.

Judy ~ Your DD will be in my prayers. She's got to be so stressed out. Oops, didn't comment on your DH...he looked mahvelous too. ;-) You two make a good looking couple! :) How was golf?

Wendy ~ Legs getting better? You really ran your heart out, didn't you?!?! What an awesome accomplishment. :) So are you going on that run by yourself? Think your legs will be ready for it? IA about that marathon repeating the same course. YIKES! Wow on that guy finishing right behind you. Yeah, what are you thinking about the round of X. Of course, I'm finishing up so I don't want to look at another work sheet, work out, etc. :p

Christine ~ I keep waiting for spinning to get easier. I have a love/hate relationship with that spin bike. :+ I like breaking GSL into standing and floor too. great job on doing the whole thing! }( How are those legs feeling now?;-) lol'd about the Jimmy comment and biting Cathe. We can have a hamstring DOMS party. :+ That's awesome that you have a job where you can bring Jimmy.

Carole ~ Hill repeats...nothing to say to that. }( Way to go! So, you think you've found the source of your hip issues? What a relief. How fun to run a race with your sister. :) Yeah, Carole's coming to the Windy City! Can't wait to meet you, Cathy & Christine! :) What happened on AI tonight? Is it worth watching? DD had a softball game.

Jackie ~ Nice workout! I get hamstring DOMS frequently. See ^^^ in Christine's post about the party I'll throw tomorrow. ;-) What do you do in a meditative stretch? Maybe I should try that on my insomniac nights which have been happening all to frequently. :( Cathy, what do you think?

Posh ~ There you are....good to **see** you! I meet with the TNT for our first run together Sat morn. It will be 4 miles. Can't wait.

Wendi ~ Good luck at the shows. You are one busy lady.

Shelly ~ I know you won't see this, or at least not until you get settled, but safe travels to you.

Hi Linda!

I think that catches me up somewhat...have a good night!
