:::CHEETAHS::: IT'S MONDAY!!

Hi Cheetahs! Boy, is it Monday again!

Gloria - Yay for the last week of school! Our kids are already out.

Cathy - Enjoy your TT workout!

Kath - Hope you got in a good run and can finish up your planting.

Shelly - Glad you're almost set with the new job. Can't wait to hear about the luxury apartment. So sorry to hear about your race! I know you had to smoke everyone! Enjoy your run!

Wendy - Glad you had a safe and fun trip to AC. Yippee for the DOMS!!

Christine - Sorry you had to cancel your Santa Fe trip. Flying is becoming too much of a hassle these days. Glad you enjoyed Kenpo X.

Doreen - Hi and welcome!

Dallas - With all the fun the kids are having at school, bet they can't concentrate on finals.

Carole - Enjoy your massage. I had one Saturday with a new person. She did an excellent job on the shoulders and back but left the legs, hamstrings and glutes lacking. My favorite guy no longer worked there. I schedule a two hour one in two weeks. Should be plenty of time to get all my body parts. Hope you had a good workout.

Posh - Hope the hair looks smashing!

Today's workout was P90X+ Upper Body and some of the abs workout. I really need to get my pull up bar back up to get the full effect. But, I used the bar on my treadmill instead. It was still using my body weight. So, it worked for the time being. I really like the workout especially since it's shorter. I didn't feel like it was as hard as P90X but that may be because of the pull up bar. I need to figure out how I will work my running in with this. Will see in the morning.

Enjoy your day ladies! Need to get back to work.

Jackie

Hi Girls.

I'm off to do my work out even though I'm not in the mood. Then I have to hurry up and get ready for bowling tonight. We have to leave extra early because there is a meeting first since it's the first night. Wish me luck!

Sorry I haven't really been around today. Just one of those days...I'm in a funk and hoping my w/o helps to bust me out of it. I can't go bowling like this...it'll be a horror show!}(

Oh a good note, I got my new Avias today. AWESOME! They are really cute, they fit and they feel good. I am going to do my work out in them today!

:* to all!

BBL!

PHEW! I feel better. I've managed to work some of the funk off. :)

Gloria: YAY for the last week of school! Any word on the NYC marathon yet? When do they do the drawing??

Cathy: Can't wait to hear what you think of TT!

Kath: How do your shoulders feel after the GIANT sets? Shoulders are tough. Boy oh boy do they burn but workin' em really pays off!;) Hope you got to that garden today.:)

Shelly: WOW how raunchy of the folks that ran that race! I wonder why/how that happened? I guess that's a race you will NEVER participate in again, ey? I'd be sooo pissed! So anyway today's w/o is full body but it had heavy squats and step ups in it as well as this killer exercise that works the hams. The DOMS was just starting to go away...I'll probably be hurtin' all over again tmrw! LOL Shoot..I don't have time to tell the funny stories right now but hopefully I'll remember to come back later on tonight and post them!:7

Christine: Can't wait to see the rotation you put together...TT/P90X+/KB's all in one? Oh do I see some DOMS in your future girl! }( I hope you enjoy the X+ and especially pull ups!:) Sorry again about this morning's confusion!

Dallas: Ouchees, ab work with a red belly? YEOWZAS, I don't envy you. LOL Hope it didn't hurt too badly. Hope your kids have fun at school this week. The last week of school means I have some horrid days at work in my future cause the babysitting room at my gym is going to get VERY crowded soon! :-(

Carole: Lucky you getting a massage after a work out. ENJOY! DOMS is great but when it's fierce it can certainly interfere with life. LOL

Jackie: Can't wait for you to get the pull up bar!}( I am sure the fact that the X+ work outs are shorter plays a role in why you may have found them easier. I didn't find the work outs easier but they were overall less exhausting because I did not have to invest as much time (and therefore energy) into them. Let us know how you opt to fit running into the rotation! :)

Alrighty, all caught up. Gotta jet but I'll BBL for sure! :)

Jackie - I was actually pretty stressed trying to plan everything (kids lunches, who's going to give the dog her shots...) for the trip, so as much as I wanted to go, it's not that big of a deal that I'm not. But thank you! And yes, flying is becoming a major hassel but as my family is scattered all over the US, I have to grin and bear it. X(

Wendy - I'm sorry about this morning, too. :( I see major DOMS in my future as well. The rotation tentatively looks like:
M - TT and HIIT
T - Cardio only
W - P90X+ Total Body and HIIT
R - Off
F - Kettlebell and steady state
S and S - Cardio

We'll see...

Hi Friends-

Today is a late check in, but is it like a reward for getting the to do list almost done. I am on coffee #2 . (#1 was during my Alwyn post)

Shelly- DBrother's company is called Compuscore. I believe you ran a race scored by them last year. Anyway, I am sorry the other company screwed up. I love the green this time of year too. In fact I'm headed out to garden for a bit after this post.

Christine- How long will you be in Boston? I have some marvelous restaurant suggestions if you are interested. From casually excellent to classy and trendy. I love Boston!

Carole- How was your run yesterday and are you enjoying you Monday away from work?

Doreen- I tried to run by the HR recommendations last summer, and found it was easier to manage by how well I could carry on a conversation on a long run . You really have to know your true maximum HR to get it right and the formulas can be wildly inaccurate.

Today was NROL4W my last stage 2A workout followed by a fast 30" TM run. As I mentioned in the Alwyn thread, In this stage, I have noticed an increase in appetite.

Hi to Kath and Gloria and and Jackie and Cathy~ don't fret about not getting the whole run in. You have been doing great with your runs :) )

Hello Cheetah friends!

Cathy: Enjoy the TT. We found out who our new principal will be. She is currently our curriculum director and great, so I am very pleased. My mind has been put to ease.

Kath: I hear you on the busy, but fun week!

Shelly: Very nice to have two weeks off! Your apartment possibilities sound great! Enjoy the yard work!

Wendy: Great you had some fun in AC!

Christine: I would love to go to Boston! Is this for fun or business? Thank you for the very kind words re: teachers. I have worked with some bad ones and do not appreciate the stigma they put on the rest of us. I had a friend who was a social worker at a homeless shelter. That is a hard and admirable job in my opinion, but she decided to go into teaching "because the schedule was better." That apalled me.

Dallas: As I told Kath, busy, busy week! The end is near and we are all ready.

Carole: We have deer just about every morning in the back yard. Any old salad fixings we have in the fridge I put out there for them. Probably not the best thing for me to do, but I would rather feed them than throw it away.

Doreen: The cheetahs are a nice group. I am new here and they have been nothing but helpful and caring. Good luck on your 20K!

Hello to Posh and Judy! :)

I do not know how much I will be checking in the next few days. I have to do report cards tomorrow after school and we have our Mackinac Island field trip on Wednesday and I will not be home until like 9:00. You can count on me for the weekend though.

I ran three miles this morning. I am a bit stressed. I am having this pain in my left side (right under my rib cage in the front and under my shoulder blade in the back). It is from coughing a bit still from my cold. I took an ibuprofen and it didn't go away. I have had it since Saturday. I am worried I might have some sort of infection in my lung. I am too scared to look it up on the Internet. It doesn't really hurt when I breathe deeply, but when I cough it does hurt. My other side does not hurt. I hope I am just being a hypochondriac. Please do not think I am crazy. I talked to my parapro who is a sage woman, and she said give it a few days before I go to the doctor. She had pleuresy and it hurt her on both sides right under her rib cage in the front of her body. Maybe it is just a pulled muscle or something. I just wish it would go away. Thank you for listening. I have only told her and the you ladies about it. I do not want to tell Andy and have him worry about me. I am sure I am just being silly, but had to tell someone.
