Hola, cheetah babes!!!
Wendy :: (doubt you’re still around, but I’ll post anyway)…oh, is that what those things are called—pushcarts? Here I thought they were called jitneys. What is a jitney then, like a tram? Have a BLAST with the girls and good luck on the slots!!! Mama needs a new pair o’ workout shoes!!!!!
Lorie :: *lol* on all the tinfoil shenanigans…hope you’re feeling better for your getaway with DF…I’m so, SO jealous of the LV cheetah GTG!

But I hope you all have a FAB time!!!…Re: your training, I don’t think one week will set you back very far. You are already extremely fit…so I think you’ll bounce back quickly and easily. Now if you were out of commish for two weeks or more, I would say it might take longer. But I think you’ll be fine.
Wendi :: Sick how we love our DOMS, isn’t it?…Hope you get a good night’s rest tonight. That is one helluva wakeup time.
Kristi :: glad you’re getting your laptop back!
Carole :: glad you enjoyed your circuit mishmosh yesterday…Sounded like a toughie!…Thanks for the info on the foot exercises. I wrote those down and will give ‘em a shot.
Jackie :: I hear ya! Hope you get to relax and recharge this weekend. What’s the course look like for this Sunday’s 10 miler?
Amy :: We know you’re not Cathe bashing ~ all is good.

The only thing that used to frustrate me is the choreography on some of the step routines, but that is changing. Slowly but surely I’m learning! In terms of the pace and intensity…when I first started, I had to modify a lot and just do what I could. But over time, I found myself able to hang with her longer, match her weight, etc. Of course, there are certainly moves that I still don’t do (e.g. tuck jumps) or times when I need more recovery time than Cathe & crew do, but I just hit pause and pick back up again after an extra minute…it’s not a source of frustration for me. I look at how far I’ve come since I’ve first started and don't think about what I can’t do (yet!) Do you like kickboxing? I think KPC is a lot of fun with several great premixes at the 40 minute mark, so you could work your way up…Re: the Garmins…all are user-friendly…I recommend the 205 or higher.
SUNNY!!!!!! :: great to see ya! I’m glad the private swim lessons are going well…This’ll be my first time doing the 51-minute premix. So far, I have done the shorter premix ~ LOVED it! How’s the PT going? Busy as ever, I bet!
Shelly :: *lol* about avoid the horse apples! Too funny!! Maybe leave a trail of snacks behind you so they get distracted with eating…best of luck tomorrow!!
http://www.kidcorral.ca/forum/images/smilies/deadhorse.gif …Oh man, the one-armed dips! Yowzas!! It’s great, though. Good idea about planning ahead for the 2008 GTG. Anywhere we meet up would be fine w/ me…It’s funny, I had a dream the other night that I made the cut for the ’08 RT…Mmm, cereal with craisins! Great idea! I am hooked on a WW cereal: Honey Almond Crisp.
Christine :: So far I’ve only done the 32 min. premix, but it was a lot of fun. Can’t wait to do the other premix…I agree ~ I always chuckle when I hear Shelly use the phrase “old bod.” I *wish* I had just a fraction of her stamina or speed!!!…BTW, I envy how spotless you keep your workspace! It seems I need a shovel at the end of every day to find my desk again.
OK, I think I got everybody. Will kick back a little longer and then bang out HSC!
Have a great night. :7
