Got ya's last night with personals, so it'll be another quick AM post for me here.

My workout this afternoon will be the HSC 51-min. premix. Can't wait to try this one!

Good Morning Cheetah-Babes!

I have BBC Chest and Abs including the cardio on tap today. OMG, I am not going to be able to MOVE tmrw morning!}( :p }( I was planning to run while in A/C tomorrow but I may opt to just rent a wheelchair instead!:7

Wendi: Did you say you live in Orange County NY? My mom lived there for YEARS! She transferred there with her job when I was 21 years only and just transferred back about a year ago I guess. She was up there for about 13 years. She rented a small apt and then came back home every weekend. She worked for Cardinal Healthcare. Familiar with it? How was bowling?

Cathy: LOL, I love those push cart things on the boardwalk! I've only taken one once I think but it's so cool! I have also taken the jitney a few times years ago. That can be a bit scarey. LOL

ugh...slowly drags into thread.

this prednisone-no-sleep-thing is killing me!!! i can not wait until i can wean off of it. i definitely don't want to stop taking it because i think it is making me feel better. grrr.

obviously, no working out for me today. it does seem that my cough is getting better.

i am debating going to work or not. i feel like i could go but i also don't want to go and be around all the kiddoes and their germies and possibly be sick since i have to go out of town with DF tomorrow. hmmm...i'll have to ponder that one.

i hope everyone is having a great friday morning. tgif!!!

Good morning Cheetahs! This will need to be a quick post. Sorry I've been MIA. I haven't been able to catch up on personals yet. Work was so busy yesterday that I didn't have much time to come here and read up on what is going on with everyone. On a bright note, I should be getting my laptop back today. I ordered it online over a month ago and haven't been able to use it yet. The day I got it I had to send it back to be fixed. Oh well, such is life.

Well, I need to get some work done, but I should be able to come back to check up on everyone and do some personals.

Good Friday morning gals!

As is usual on a Friday am my arse is dragging from getting home late last night. I need my 8-9 hours or I feel it the next day. I feel quite pain-free this morning and was hoping to do Low Max (finally) but I got up too late. That one will probably have to wait until Saturday and any chance of running will have to be Monday. I have a VERY early am Sunday (2:30-3am) so there will definitely be NO w/o that day. Hopefully I can get a bunch ridden today to make up for it.

Cathy - I have to stay very far away from dried cranberries...they're like candy to me. Once I start I can't stop! Enjoy HSC this afternoon. I'm so jealous :p!

Wendy - Soooo, how's the tuchus this am? I live in Middletown, work in Pine Bush. I'm not sure I know of Cardinal...is it possible they've changed their name in the past couple of years? I've found there are quite a few people on these forums from around here or that have ties to this area. In fact, there's someone who literally lives five minutes down the road from me...small world! Bowling sucked for the guys, again. It's embarrassing how badly we're doing this year. We're usually in the top three, not the bottom three...grrr.

I've got to get into work a little early this morning so I'll check back later. Have a great day!

Lorie - It sounds like you should give yourself another day. It sounds like you'll be back at 'em on Monday. I'm so sorry that the prednisone is hitting you so hard but glad that you are finally improving. Rest up over the weekend!

Kristi - That's great news about your laptop...I know you had issues with it. And thanks for the reminder.......

Wendi: OMG, Middletown! That's where my mom rented her apartment! LOL I'm not sure where exactly Cardinal is. Yes, actually Cardinal used to be Allegience. Perhaps you recognize that name instead?

BTW, my butt and quad/hams are sore but not bad at all. My calves, obliques and lats hurt MUCH worse actuallly!:eek:

Lorie: I am thinking you should stay home from work again. It's friday. You should just give yourself this final day to get better! I hope you are well enough this weekend so that the visit with your DF's family can be enjoyable. Nothin' like feelin' like crud to ruin what could otherwise be a good time.

Kristi: Sorry about the lap top troubles. Glad you are getting it back today though. Don't fret about the personals. We know you'll catch up as soon as you can. :)
 
AHA! I thought it was Allegiance in Montgomery! See that, very small world. I might be weird but I *love* when I have oblique DOMS. I feel like I've really gotten a good w/o then.

LOL, I almost forgot they went up there as Allegiance and then changed names to Cardinal. My mom has been with the company for 25+ years and gone through numerous name changes. I get soooo confused! LOL You are not weird...I love DOMS too. It's PROOF that ya worked hard!;)
 
Good morning cheetahs

My crazy power circuit workout yesterday was WAY FUN!!! The cardio all together was about 66 mins with the 3 workouts. I think I might just do that one again!

Shelly...good luck tomorrow!!!!

Cathy...no golf ball involved in the exercises I do for my feet. I do 10 calf stretches on each side ( I stand on my hearth) and then grab some dumbells and walk forward 10 steps on my toes, and then 10 steps on my heels (with toes up), and then walk backwards 20 steps. I do that 10 times and these exercises I do barefoot. I am glad your training runs have gotten a bit faster, that is a great feeling! Sounded like a very sweaty KPC workout yesterday. Have fun with the HSC premix later.

Wendy...no DOMS for me from my workout. Hey, don't temp me, I have not been to AC and that could be so fun...Enjoy chatty Rich today, does he chat like that through the cardio too? You have been giving yourself a lot of DOMS this week..:)

Lorie...Sorry about the insomnia from the prednisone...hopefully it'll not take much longer! I hope you will be able to go out of town with DF this weekend. I will look forward to meeting you and your new DH in Dec. I have already met Shelly and she is great...:)...should be a fun weekend.

Wendi...no DOMS for me today, maybe tomorrow? I wish I could sleep for 8-9 hours, that rarely happens, I seem to be happy with 7-8. So bowling didn't go so well for the guys...I used to bowl a lot, now it seems like forever...

Kristi...hope your laptop is up and running very soon.

Susan...I am not a huge fan of the dentist either but I have had so much dental work done in my mouth you would think I'd get used to it!

Christine...your avatar is so cute, love the headset on Jimmy...:)...and no, in the cone pic he looks nothing at all thrilled LOL!, but he can steal your heart anyway...:)..the power circuits were very fun. Good job with Allstep. Me personally, I would try for the 10 miles this weekend, but if you are not up to it the 6-7 would be fine.

Judy...that is cool about your friends doing the Breast Cancer walk. That is a long way to walk but for a great cause.

I am planning on GS Chest and a 4 mile run.

Cathy - I'm here. Sometimes work just wears you out and when you get home, all you want to do is crash. Enjoy HSC this afternoon.

Wendy - Enjoy BBC Chest & Abs. I have DOMS from that one yesterday.

Lorie - Sorry to hear you're not 100% yet. Please take care and feel better.

Wendi - I wish I could get 8 or 9 hours of sleep. No matter what time I go to bed, my eyes pop open too early. I try to get in bed by 9 every night and I'm up and working out by 4:30 am. Weekends I try to get in bed by 10 or 11 and I'm still awake by 5:30 or 6:00 am. Guess my body only wants 7 hours. That would be good if it were uninterrupted.

Kristi - Keeping my fingers crossed that the laptop gets to you soon.

Carole - Have a good run and weigth workout!

Shelly - Good luck with your Man Against Horse race tomorrow. I know you will do an awesome job!

Wednesday was a 5 mile tempo run and I added hills to the last mile. Did GBG stretch afterwards. Yesterday was BBC Chest & Abs, an easy 2 mile run and the stretch from SuperChargedSculpting. Today was an IFIT 20 minute elliptical workout and a Yoga Zone yoga. Wanted to do an easier workout today. Tomorrow will be a rest day. Sunday is my first 10 mile race.

Happy Friday Cheetahs!

I am on a Leslie Sansone kick these days! I am finally getting over this cold (only lasted 5 days, thank God!).

I am finding that Cathe workouts are hard for me at times, and I am quick to not do them if they are too hard to follow.

The moves are fine, but Cathe is fast! She is AMAZING, don't get me wrong. This is not a Cathe Bashing. I LOVE HER! But, does anyone else ever feel this way?

I am not giving up just yet, but I wish Cathe had some more basic workouts. I have her Basic Step and Low Impact Step workouts and love them. I need more of that! :)

Hello ladies (remember me, lol),

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to you all, I miss you so much.

Update on me: i had to squash the triathlon this year because I wasn't comfortable with my swimming. however i am now taking private lessons and they are going great. so i know i will be confident enough for a tri next year. i am continunig with my first HM in dec. so i am very excited about that!!

wendy- your HM is this month correct? how is the running going?

carole- you will have to post your power circuit workout sounds like fun}(

shelly- run, shelly, run, lol. good luck with your race tomorrow.

kristi- i hate computer issues. i feel lost without mine.

jackie- good luck with your first 10mile race. are you doing an HM this year also?

cathy- enjoy HSC. is this your first time doing this workout? i love that one!

I was intending to post from work alot earlier but I go slammed with various problems and crisis:( Anyway, I'm home now but barely able to think straight enough to type so I'll be tucking myself in bed soon. Cathy – How is HSC? I don’t have that one, but I LOVE HSTA!

Wendy – Enjoy Atlantic City this weekend!!! You’re a crazy Cheetah!! Enjoy your wheel chair (which will probably end up being wheel chair races or something, knowing you!).

Lorie – So sorry you’re not getting sleep! That must be driving you batty – it would me! I think you should rest one more day.

Wendi – glad to hear you’re feeling better and pain free! Sorry you missed your workout! To jump in on your Middletown thread – my Mom lived most of her life in Middeltown! Too funny – what a small world. It’s the same way here on the left coast in the Bay Area – there are a ton of Catheites around. I’ve met Susan (Singing Goddess) who lives 20 minutes away, and AmyG who lives about 20 minutes away as well. And there are others.

Kristi – I’m glad you’re getting your laptop back. We’ve missed you! Hope work gets better.

Carole – Thanks – Jimmy was in the office with me yesterday and I could not resist. He’s so patient with me. I’m definitely trying your Power Circuit workout! That sounds like a blast – and a great way to get leg work in without going too heavy. I do miss weights. But I’m going to hold out on real weights until after my half.

Jackie – Good luck this weekend on your race! You’ll do well! I sleep the same hours you do – 9 to 4:30. Sleep in on the weekends until 6:00 – if I’m REALLY lucky I can hold out until 7. But if I sleep too much I get a backache.

Amy – Cathe is the toughest instructor out there. The only ones that come close to her are P90X and Spinervals and they are designed for different purposes. And her step is very complicated. It took me a while to get her commands. Her kickboxing workouts are easier to follow, though. And I like Imax 2.

SUNNY!!! Too bad about your Triathlon, but good job at being prepared! So glad to hear from you!

Shelly – Sorry that work sucked last night. Just get some sleep – you need to be rested to beat Maggie! And old my arse! I wish I were in half the condition you are!
