:: CHEETAHS :: Anything but sedentary Saturday!

RunninTeach

Cathlete
Good morning, cheetahs! :) :) :) Up early to finish off my work for this morning’s class.

Shelly :: Well, it was a short AM workout for me, but at least it was SOMETHING. I would like to get in AM workouts more often.

Marcia :: hey, lady! You posted something out there on the O/F not long ago, and I was wondering about where you’d gotten off to. Glad to hear all is well with you.

Wendy :: So do you have the total body DOMS you’ve been aimin’ for?…Thanks - my stomach wasn’t bad yesterday at all…a little off, but not the kind of cramping pain from the day before…I think it was the pizza we served at the shower…I checked with a colleague and she wasn’t feeling well afterward, either…It does sound like time to shop for a new gym…If you’re hired as a trainer, would you get a membership? Maybe you should approach from that angle…Hey, speaking of which, January would be a great time to put out your shingle!!…*jaw drops* So how many pull-ups/chinups do you do in one set???

Kristi :: sorry about the extra stress at work.

Christine :: so how was the company drunkfest?…What a cool opportunity for your DS & family to explore Europe…Travel arrangements are so cheap when booked from overseas…Will they return to the States or seek another two-year stint?…Sorry about DD…any idea why she broke up with him?…Please do drop in the CABs group anytime!!!…And just so you know, there really isn’t all that much imbibing – we mostly just make jokes about it!

Wendi :: Wow! 10” ain’t no joke! I don’t think we are going to have anything serious with tonight’s storm. But hey, you never know. It changes constantly. *lol*…Shoveling sure is a heckuva workout…Thanks – the stomachache was nothing severe – just a bad reaction to what I ate, I think…Yeah, I’ve been busier than usual, but I’m not complainin’ or stressing at all. Just doing what I can every day. I *am* looking forward to break but not counting it down in a get-here-or-I’ll-have-a-meltdown kind of way. :)

Carole :: that stinks about the family swap gone sour…does everyone else still participate?
Hope your cold is on its way out…How’d the flooring project go?

Jackie :: IA, 20 min. for the core is a long time…Maybe that is why I rarely reach for it. A 10 min. abs add-on is usually what I go for.

Lorie :: Yessss! I love the BOSU!!!! I mainly use it for pushups (ball side face-down) and abs (ball side up), and I have used it in place of the step once so far (with HSC). I plan to try it with other workouts as well. I also do calf work on it and use it to assist with pull-ups…Hey, I got a surprise visit from the aunt, too…There is something about the tone in your posts re: XDF that makes me think you are “done.” I hope it goes well.

Linda :: good to see ya! Glad you’re getting into the spirit.

Have a great day, ladies! I have class this morning and will work out in the afternoon. Perhaps a run if the storm hasn't hit yet...otherwise, alternate cardio + 4DS SCT or Ba&Bi.

Edited to fix a glaring typo that made no sense. Also to add:
Shelly :: Somehow my personal to you was truncated when I cut & pasted...Meant to also say those slow nights are the worst, eh?

Good morning ladies,

off to do Tracey's KB sweatfest and then to ds#1's bball game!

cathy- have a great workout today. one of my sister's still resides in nj and told me about the storm that is supposed to come today. stay safe and warm.

wendy- you give me too much credit i only did the 60 min one first because my rotation called for 60 mins of cardio, lol. yes, to your question yesterday re: my other position. i work for the ymca as a corporate wellness coordinator. there is a huge co. here that has a gym on premises and i manage the gym. it's a part-time gig. i really love it!

shelly- hopefully the nights pick up for you. i know it makes for a long work day/night when there is not too much to do. how is the acsm studying coming along?

lorie- let us know how it goes with xDF. maybe actually seeing him will help you make a decision once and for all. re: turbulence training check out www.ttmembers.com.

christine- did you have fun at your christmas party?

marcia- great to see you again!!!

ok, i believe that is it for now. i will BBL..:)

Good Morning Cheetah Babes in Toyland!:p

Cathy: Yeah, pretty much any gym will give you a free membership if you are employed there. I DO have to start getting more resumes out. Perhaps I should apply to the gyms I'd want to work out at the most first!;)
I did 10 pull/chin ups per set y'day. I do them assisted though. Don't forget that. When I am doing them along with Tony in Chest and Back or whatever I can usually do up to 16 per set depending on the type of pull/chin up it is and how tired I am. Keep doing them and they will get easier. :)

So all I have on tap for this weekend work out wise is yoga. Ooooohhhhmmmmm. :p Y'day's work out kicked my butt. I was TOAST by the time I got home from the gym last night. This weekend is going to be just what I need!:)

I am headed out around 9am to do some shopping with my mom this morning. I am hoping to be back in time to get DS down for his nap so that I can get some stuff done while he sleeps.

What's on everyone else's agenda for today?

Well, that's it for me for now...I got caught up on personals y'day.

Later!:+

Sunny: We were posting at the same time. I still give you lots of credit on the 60 min interval work out because I must admit that the 30 minute one kicks my butt! To me, it's harder then some of the other 60 min ones!!! }( Have fun with your work out and cheer your DS on for me at his game!:)

Good morning cheetahbabes! I had a much busier and therefore faster night. I have the weekend off now before another 3 night stretch.
I only had time yesterday for 4DS BC so today I need to do some upperbody work. I'll likely do HSTA cardio and upperbody which is what I planned yesterday when i wake up from my nap. Later today I'll go for a run of about 6-7 miles. It will only get up to 40 degrees today so even an afternoon run will be chilly:(

Marcia- Welcome back!!! Hope you can check in today! I know how busy you usually are with your 10,000 jobs!!!;-) That's great that you have your own TM now!!

Cathy- Kudos to you for being able to get in any am workout, no matter the length!! Hope the weather cooperates with you and you can get in a nice run.... but you have all sorts of great alternatives if not.

SunnyD- The ACSM studying is going slow but steady, thanks for asking.
I was able to get in quite a bit last night;-) I guess you'll be really hitting the books soon studying for your masters! Good luck today to your DS!!

Wendy- so an all yoga weekend? I guess the DOMS must be pretty intense. That gym you belong to does sound like it has some problems! I think that would give you incentive to get out some resumes.

Kristi- Poor baby! And I thought I had a cruddy work week! I sure am glad you have a weekend to recover now and a short week next week. Have a great run today!

Christine- How did the drunk fest go??? Sorry about your DD14's breakup. They take it hard at that age.... but they also recover quickly too. I'm betting there will be a new love interest before long.

Wendi- Wow, I'm surprised that you continue to have such long workdays even with the winter weather! You never do seem to catch a break! Did you have a nice rest day?

Carole- I really need to invest in some quality cold weather running wear!!! My fingers and toes in particular really suffer! Glad you finally got the carpet/flooring problem taken care of. Going for a long run tomorrow?

Jackie- hooboy, you must be so busy right now with your job!! I'm surprised you keep your wonderful sweet nature (at least on line you do!) No more snow here.... sigh. None in the near future either, just VERY COLD! What's on tap for today?

Lorie- How did the visit from xDF go?

Linda- hey partycheetah? How was it?

I think that about catches me up cutiepies!
have a great Saturday!

ShellyC

Good morning cheery Cheetahs!

First of all I wanted to say "Thank You!" to Dee Dee and Shelly (you're soooo sweet!) for the lovely cards! I love having all my Cheetah cards in their own spot and family cards in another...of which there is only one right now lol. I have to admit that all of the cards from you ladies hold a very special place in my heart.

I have a confession...along with my rest day yesterday (workout-wise, but I had a very long riding list) SO and I went to Cheeseburger in Paradise and, to go along with my yummy fish tacos, we ordered my favorite dessert...Chocolate Nachos }( :9 :9! At least we agreed to skip the drinks and crab and artichoke dip to make up for it...right *rolls eyes*. I did BM2 Scrambled Eggs this morning so I hope that put at least a little dent in the damage done last night!

I'm a bit short on time right now so this will have to be a one sided post for now. I promise to catch up with everyone tonight! Have a wonderful day!

Hi Saturday cheetahs

I had to limit myself to lurk mode yesterday. It was just one of *those* days. Being behind on personals I will give it a shot here forgive if I miss a few~ I adore all of our group!

Christine- Did you behave at your work party? Was it fun anyway?

Cathy- I hope you can get in all your "to do's" today. Today will be the day to run outside, because tomorrow is the big snow. Actually we are supposed to get 3-5 inches later today and 6-10 tomorrow. TG your stomach is back to normal!

Wendi- Yup that shoveling really works a lot of muscles and can keep your HR up if you work at it. I think we are in for more shoveling workouts this weekend!

Wendy- Have fun shopping with Mom! Are you focused on specific gifts or out for fun?

Shelly-Did you do that cold outdoor run? I ran outside yesterday 8 miles it was mile 37 degrees, but on the return up hill towards home stint it got very windy. x( x( x(

Carole- Are you still getting pain with/ after runs?

Who asked about Miranda's "rambling" in Classical Stretch? She goes on and on about being camera ready and wearing a certain brand of make up for female performance athletes in the spotlight. does she market that DVD to female performance athletes or regualar people?????

Lorie- I loved your doggie card! Guess what? A friendly black lab followed me on my run yesterday for the last 3 miles. I ended up looking at his tags after I got brave and called for his owners. He was actually quite a playful guy. It is a pleasure to *hear* happiness in your posts! Stay happy this weekend!

Hi Jackie- Yup I rarely do 20 minute abs, but sure could use them. Actually today is a good ab/stretch day. I had 5 good consecutive cardio this week and not dedicated upper body. (Although I did get back DOMS from KB)

Susan- tonight is your cookie party right? I am sure it will be a hit! Will your girls be around at it?

Welcome back Marcia! Are you still doing the food business ?

Kristi- I hope this week calms down for you after your very busy last week!

Yesterday was 8 miles outside and that make 5 good cardios this week. i am going to do some abs and a most likely a total body stretch. I did not get in any circuits this week. But I did do some kick boxing.

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...yes my family still does a gift exchange, but I am no longer involved and that suits me fine...:)...so you are expecting a storm? 4DS CST is a fun premix. Hope the storm misses you and you can get in a run.

Sunny...thanks for the card..:)...enjoy your workout and ds's bb game.

Jackie...way to go on getting the new DVD player fro X-mas! Once you get down Amy's KBX workout, the premixes are alot easier...

Wendy...that sucks about the busted and then crowded TM's!!! Nah, you are far from falling apart...;)..Good job with S&A & ARX. Enjoy shopping with your Mom today.

Shelly...is is cold here too. I think Under Armour is the best for cold running gear. My toes are fine in the cold but my fingers do get cold. I have some thick running gloves that help during the real cold. I will run tomorrow but maybe only about 8 miles depending on the pain, as I don't want to push it. Enjoy HSTA and your 6-7 mile run. Thanks for the sweet card...:)

Wendi....OMG chocolate nachos?..I am sure I would be the only one that would not like those...:)...nothing wrong with those bad eating days once in awhile.

Judy...I have had "those" days too...I am getting a bit of pain during the last part of my runs. I am hoping cutting back on mileage and rolling & icing will help. I also get a massage monday. Good job with 8 miles outdoors yesterday...

Christine...So did Anna and her BF break-up?...those 1st break-ups are awful, she will be in my prayers. Your X-mas family gift exhcange that you used to do does sound fun.

Linda...hope the X-mas party was a fun one.

Well, some miscommunication with the floor guy so he will come out Monday. I spent most of yesterday upgrading my DH's computer from Win98SE to WinXP. I actually installed a full version which wiped out my hard drive, which is what I planned. So now it is running very well...:)...yes, the geek side of me...:)

Not sure what workout I will do today as I woke up about 3AM cuz DH would NOT stop snoring! PITA he is! I did watch a cool movie "Bats"...

Have a great day and I will BBL...:)

Hey everyone! Whew! The weekend is finally here!

Wendy – Thanks…I did have a good time at the party! That is a big time aggravation with the TM’s and the line! My goodness! You are the queen with the pull-ups and chinups!

Christine – I had a great time at the party! How was yours? Did you have fun? I hope all works out with Anna and her BF! That is so hard when your kids go through breakups, especially when you like the “other” one, too!

Cathy – Hope you don’t get hit too hard with the storm! Enjoy your workout! Too bad you have to go to class on Saturday! 

Sunny – Enjoy Tracey’s KB! I envy you and Wendy so much for your PT certifications! Your career sounds just like my dream!

Shelly – Do you like 4DS BC? I still have yet to do that one! Your workout plan for the day sounds great! The party was great! Thanks for asking!

Wendi – Hey girl! I feel the same way about all me Cheetah cards! I just love them and they are really special to me!

Judy – Aww! I’ll bet the black lab was such a sweetie! Great job on the 8 miles outside yesterday and all of your cardio’s and workouts this week! I hope your day today is better than your day yesterday! I hate “those” days! Seems like I have been having a lot lately!

Carole – I am sitting here literally lol about your DH being a PITA with his snoring! I can soooo relate! Bless your heart! There were a couple of morning during the past 2 weeks that I woke up at 2:30 and 3:00 and could not go back to sleep. Grr! I always sleep with earplugs, but that does not always work  Hope the floorguy shows up on Monday! Glad you got your computers running smoothly with XP!

I actually did 3 step workouts this week and 3 runs….instead of all running. I had a ball with the step! I really have missed it!

Yesterday I did GS C&T, Tracey’s Step Sweatfest and here Core Challenge workout from her first series (the 1st half).

Today was Amy’s SloMo Legs, Amy’s ASCII. Man, did I have a ball! I am still smiling! I used my 35 pound kettlebell for the Sumo Squats and Jefferson Squats. I asked DH for a 45 lber and 55 lber for a Christmas or birthday present. I know 35 lbs isn’t as heavy as she is using with the Sumo’s…but shoot! It was heavy enough for me right now! ;)

Hope everyone stays safe, warm and has a great day!

TTFN!

Linda

Hi Ladies -

Quick check in today. Party last night was a good time. I behaved myself, although I am a littl fuddle-minded this morning, anyway. But, I was up with the birds and to the mall by 8:30. I am officially DONE with Christmas shopping! YAY!!! I'm so excited! I even came home and wrapped what I bought today. I did not buy as much as usual, which is good, actually, but I still spent more than I wanted. Isn't that the way it always is? Today is a scheduled rest day, so I'm going to enjoy it and not stress. I have a hair appointment in an hour and then I need to get groceries, and then I should be able to relax tomorrow.

Hi to everyone! Sorry for the me-centric post, but I have to run to take a shower (just got up and went this morning) so I can get to my hair appointment on time.

Afternoon Cheetahs!

Lorie - How are you and the aunt coming today? I definitely do not miss her one bit. How did things go with exDF?

Wendy - Sorry you're not happy with your gym. I know being free for you makes it hard to go to another. But, geez, looks like to could keep the equipment maintained. Come to think of it, I don't think I have done Cardio Fusion but once. Good job on iTread 4.

Christine - Did DD break up with BF? What a bummer right at Christmas. Hope she's ok. Glad you had fun at the party. Enjoy your rest day.

Linda - Glad you're finally in the Christmas spirit. When I see all the lights going around our town square, it really seems like Christmas. Glad you had fun at the party. Sounds like a good workout for you today.

Cathy - Glad you're feeling better. Did the storm hit? It's been raining all day here. So, I've been watching Hallmark Christmas movies. Don't even feel like going out of the house.

Sunny - How did DS game go? How nice that you manage a gym along with everything else you do.

Shelly - Yay for having the weekend off. Hope you had a good run. I can keep my good nature because I don't have to deal with too many employees and I don't have to deal with customers for the most part. Every now and then a customer may get a hold of my number. I just kill them with kindness and I don't have any problems. Thank you for the beautiful Christmas card.

Wendi - What exactly goes on chocolate nachos besides the chocolate?

Judy - Good 8 mile run in the cold. Yay for the DOMS! Nothing like a good stretch.

Carole - I'm excited about the DVD player. I even bought a new HDTV for my workout room. I also put some running tights on my wish list. Will see how that goes. I'll continue to work with Amy's KB because I really like the pace of it. Sorry you were awake so early.

I did iTread #8 iTri. I split the time for the bike between the elliptical and treadmill. I got in 5.3 miles. Finished up with Stretch Max #1.

I went to Wally World yesterday and these two little girls came up to me. They were probably about 6 & 2-3 years old. The 2-3 year old had her arms out like she wanted me to pick her up. I'm thinking I'm not picking her up because somebody will think I'm trying to take off with their kid. The oldest one says she just wants to hug you. I gave her a hug and she went on her merry way. I thought that was really cute.

I'm going to curl up on the couch and watch some more Christmas movies. I have chili made. I'm set for the evening.

Enjoy your evening.

Jackie

Hi, cheetahs!

Sunny :: looks like we are getting the “storm” tonight into tomorrow but it will turn to rain, no accumulation…how did DS’s team do?

Wendy :: I am in awe of your pullup/chinup power! No wonder you are so ripped, woman! How was the shopping? After class, I had to run some errands and then I just worked out, and BAM! Another day is drawing to a close already. How does it happen that quickly?? I will relax and read the new Women’s Health tonight, and then do some reading for Nat’l Boards.

Shelly :: sweet to get the weekend off. Any special plans?…I went for the alternatives…it’s a little nippy out there today and it was starting to get dark. Glad you are making good progress with your studying. I need to keep a steady pace with mine.

Wendi :: chocolate nachos? Never had those, but since it combines two of my favorite snacks, I bet it’s delish.

Judy :: ahh, warm fuzzies! I feel the same about our cheetah group. Great job getting out there in the cold yesterday for 8 miles…Oh, that was me that asked the question about Miranda’s rambling…OK, that does sound a little odd.

Carole :: I think the storm is being downplayed…at least for my area…it will be a good day nonetheless to hunker in and do some work. Bats? Never heard of it. Is it about bats, as in bats that fly?…Very cool that you could do the XP upgrade yourself.

Linda :: OMG, I know you asked Shelly about it, but you’ve GOTTA try 4DS BC!! It’s so much fun!! I don’t mind the class too much – it’s once a month to support us in the Nat’l Board process, and I definitely need the support!!…So you are liking the kettlebells, huh?

Christine :: ^^^ fives on being done shopping! Any good stories to tell from the drunkfest?

Jackie :: no, not yet…it’s coming tonight…for some reason, I thought it was supposed to start in the afternoon…How cute about the two little girls in Walmart. Enjoy the Christmas movies! Sounds cozy.

I wound up doing 4DS Ba & Bi premix…BOSU Total Body w/out Abs only…wall squats (1 min both legs, 30 seconds one-legged, then 1:15 both legs, and 20 seconds one-legged)…and 20 min on the EXT @ a 10 degree incline.

Hey Sunny! If you want to see some creepy before/during/after Accutane shots, I just posted some on the Cabs check-in thread. The before pic was taken in Dec. 06 during the most intense breakout period that I had. (September through December of last year, my skin went completely HAYWIRE.) If you go take a peek, be forewarned: it's seriously gross! Oh, and that pic was taken after a full day of skiing, so I'm red and sweaty, to boot.

The during shot was taken in early February, a month after I started treatment. The picture isn't 100% crisp, but you might be able to see that, by that point, my skin had cleared. The last shot was taken last month, 3 months after treatment ended.

Good evening ladies!

After a very long, COLD day at work I'm all wrapped up in my favorite throw with a giant steaming cup of Chai. That, plus draining the hot water heater while in the shower, I think I'm finally starting to defrost...BBBRRRRRRRR!!!!

For those of you who may be wondering about the wonderous thing that is Chocolate Nachos...fried (of course}( ) chocolate and plain flour tortilla wedges, coated with powdered sugar, then liberally drizzled with the most decedent, rich, scrumptious chocolate ganache sauce you've ever tasted. We're not talking Hershey's Syrup...this is the *good* stuff. They're served with ice cream for scooping up with the nachos...vanilla, strawberry and banana chocolate chunk. Garnished with diced strawberries...see, it's actually a *healthy* dessert :p.

Have I got at least some of you drooling...sorry Carole, no salty goodness here.

Cathy - Great workout you came up with today...nice! Had to LOL about the "get-here-or-I'll-have-a-meltdown" comment...too funny! Glad to hear you're only supposed to get some rain. So far it looks like we *could* get about 4", then up to a 1/2" of ice then rain. I'm not sure what I'm rooting for at this point.

Sunny - How was DS game? Nice workout today. How are you feeling ater your latest round of turbulance...are the DOMS getting better?

Wendy - HOLY MOLY GIRL!!! I am in awe with the number of pull-ups you can do...even if they are assisted. WOW! Enjoy the yoga!

Shelly - It was a nice rest day...I just wish my mouth had decided to follow suit (see Choc. Nachos description) ;-). Glad to hear you were able to get some studying in. I really do need to get my act together about going back to school. So what fabulous plans do you have for your weekend off?

Judy - My "shoveling sister"...although you definitely have me beat with this one! I don't think I could ever live out there. I did end up digging the truck and trailer(s) out today, too. I figured it would be easier to do today than when it's got 1/2" of ice on it. WOW, you put in some great workouts this week. WTG! Oh, how cute about your running mate!

Carole - Hey, want to come out to NY and figure out why my computer runs so slow, you computer whiz you!?! J/K! What workout did you decide on? I hope you're able to sleep a bit better tonight.

Linda - Glad to hear you had a great time at the party. You HAVE to do BC!!! It was the one cardio that I didn't think I'd like and it's actually my favorite...just pure fun!!! Great workouts!

Christine - Great job on the shopping! I wish I could say the same :-(. So , how's the "do"...do we get pics? Enjoy the PATS game tomorrow.

Jackie - Too cute about those girls! I think it's a sad state of affairs when we have to be afraid of returning a kind gesture for fear that it may be misinterpreted as some horrible crime. I have to second Shelly's comment about you working for the USPS and being so cheerful this time of year ! Nice workout today and even nicer evening you have planned...enjoy!

Waving "HI" to Thomasina, Lorie, Lori, Kristi and Susan! I'm always so paranoid I'm going to forget someone lol. Sleep tight Cheetahs!

Oh jeez - I forgot to mention that DD14 and her BF did NOT break up. I forget how much I explained, but at the beginning, she was the one who was aloof and did not want to spend too much time together, then the relationship slowly reversed to him wanting to do more with other friends, and her expecting him to be with her. I'm working with her on actually encouraging him to pursue other interests (I'm hoping she will, too, honestly, she's become a little too wrapped up in him and needs to do things SHE likes to do).

Cool stories about the company drunkfest? Well, the CEO and 3 other guys from the company performed on stage in a rock band and they werre actually good. I was impressed! A lot of talent hidden in CEO's, engineers and marketing guys. And some catty gossip, the VP of Inside Sales, a very pretty woman, was drunk as a skunk before the CEO's speech. A groupd of us were watching her in amazement. She was dressed in leather pants and the cutest shoes (I have major shoe envy when it comes to her!), but was staggering around from the get go. Amazing.

Wendi - had to chime in here to say that bless you! Enjoy your Cowboys game tomorrow! And I'm on the next plane out for those Chocolate nachos! They sound sinful, but devine! :+

Jackie – Aww! That little girl sounds so cute and sweet! Children are so sweet and innocent (most of the time ;)) My, that sounds like a nice cozy afternoon/evening you have planned! Nothing like Chili to make a person feel all cozy and warm!

Cathy – I am very happy to hear your opinion on BC, too! I will definitely have to try it soon! Great workout that you did! I have a silly question. I have been wanting to ask this for some time, now…..but have been embarrassed to :+ But, what on earth is the CABS and abs checkin? What does that stand for? Sorry to be so dense…..

Wendi – I will definitely have to try BC! Seems like everyone loves it! I have mainly just done the weights and step workouts on 4DS. Yes, you are right!! That is definitely a “healthy” dessert! ;) I mean all of that fruit! What more could a “Healthy eater” want, right! ;) Yes, I am definitely drooling!

Hi to anyone that I haven’t got to talk to!

Talk to you guys later!

Cathy - In answer to your question on me liking the Kettlebells....I haven't actually done any of the kb workouts yet. I only used them with Amy's workouts. I may also try them with Patricks. I previewed my KB workouts....and they scare me! I am going to have to take some time to study them and "practice". It looks like it would be very easy to get injured! But...I am going to try them soon. But right now...I am asceered :+

Linda

Personals! Finally!

Cathy - how was class? Sounds like you got in a great workout! You’re really making me want an EXT Yeah, I think it’s fabulous that DS has the opportunity to travel around Europe like that. We’re talking about renting a villa in Italy this summer together. How fun! She’ll be coming back to the us in about 2 years. Too funny about the CABS and Abs group! Sounds like fun! Although the way I’ve been going I need a NO CABS for the Abs group more! :+ I am very excited about being done shopping. I have NEVER been done with 10 days left to go! I’m more of a Christmas Eve type shopper!

Wendy – Maybe you should call the gyms you’re interested in and ask to attend a few classes. People tend to hire people they know, and many gyms have daily memberships. Get a feel for the club, talk to the other instructors, and really figure out if it’s the one for you. Then start asking about working. Enjoy your Yoga weekend! Sounds like heaven!

Shelly – Glad your evening was faster! Enjoy your weekend! Sounds like you have another killer workout planned!

Wendi – I think those Chocolate Nachos are well worth the calories for an occasional snack. I like to “do” – it’s a trim from the last cut I had. I’ll see if I can get some photos. :p

Judy – Do you have a lot of snow? 8 miles outside – wow! I’m impressed with the “seasonal” weather you’ve been having! Yeah, I was pretty good last night. It was still fun – it’s almost more fun to watch others get trashed, and know I’ll be okay in the AM.

Carole – so sorry DH woke you up with his snoring. Mine does that occasionally as well. Drives me batty! I guess they will be showing the Raider’s game on local tv here – because they are playing the Colts it’s a sold out game. Go Raiders!!!! ::p

Linda – Glad to you had a great time! Mine was fun – odd because it was a pretty small room, and they had gambling tables, etc, so there was no place to sit down. Tough when you’re in heels! All gambling winnings went for chances to win door prizes. It was fun. I just don’t know if I’m ready for DD14 to deal with this stuff! I thought I had a few years with her yet! But, I do like him, and DD14 is actually a sophomore – she’s very young for her class. She’ll be 15 in less than 2 weeks. I’m dying to get Slo Mo and both of Amy’s step workouts! As well as Hi/Lo Extreme and Hi/Lo Dome. I can’t wait to put together my Jan rotation! :p

Jackie – Oh, what an adorable story! So sad that we cannot pick up a child without people thinking we’re going to snatch them, isn’t it? But, I know what you mean. I think a hug from a sweet toddler would be really nice about now! Thanks for asking about DD14! I have an HDTV in my workout room – but that’s because it’s also DH’s football tv. It’s great, though! Your evening sounds fabulous!

Thanks for your patience with me today!!! Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
