Good morning, cheetahs!
Up early to finish off my work for this morning’s class.
Shelly :: Well, it was a short AM workout for me, but at least it was SOMETHING. I would like to get in AM workouts more often.
Marcia :: hey, lady! You posted something out there on the O/F not long ago, and I was wondering about where you’d gotten off to. Glad to hear all is well with you.
Wendy :: So do you have the total body DOMS you’ve been aimin’ for?…Thanks - my stomach wasn’t bad yesterday at all…a little off, but not the kind of cramping pain from the day before…I think it was the pizza we served at the shower…I checked with a colleague and she wasn’t feeling well afterward, either…It does sound like time to shop for a new gym…If you’re hired as a trainer, would you get a membership? Maybe you should approach from that angle…Hey, speaking of which, January would be a great time to put out your shingle!!…*jaw drops* So how many pull-ups/chinups do you do in one set???
Kristi :: sorry about the extra stress at work.
Christine :: so how was the company drunkfest?…What a cool opportunity for your DS & family to explore Europe…Travel arrangements are so cheap when booked from overseas…Will they return to the States or seek another two-year stint?…Sorry about DD…any idea why she broke up with him?…Please do drop in the CABs group anytime!!!…And just so you know, there really isn’t all that much imbibing – we mostly just make jokes about it!
Wendi :: Wow! 10” ain’t no joke! I don’t think we are going to have anything serious with tonight’s storm. But hey, you never know. It changes constantly. *lol*…Shoveling sure is a heckuva workout…Thanks – the stomachache was nothing severe – just a bad reaction to what I ate, I think…Yeah, I’ve been busier than usual, but I’m not complainin’ or stressing at all. Just doing what I can every day. I *am* looking forward to break but not counting it down in a get-here-or-I’ll-have-a-meltdown kind of way.
Carole :: that stinks about the family swap gone sour…does everyone else still participate?
Hope your cold is on its way out…How’d the flooring project go?
Jackie :: IA, 20 min. for the core is a long time…Maybe that is why I rarely reach for it. A 10 min. abs add-on is usually what I go for.
Lorie :: Yessss! I love the BOSU!!!! I mainly use it for pushups (ball side face-down) and abs (ball side up), and I have used it in place of the step once so far (with HSC). I plan to try it with other workouts as well. I also do calf work on it and use it to assist with pull-ups…Hey, I got a surprise visit from the aunt, too…There is something about the tone in your posts re: XDF that makes me think you are “done.” I hope it goes well.
Linda :: good to see ya! Glad you’re getting into the spirit.
Have a great day, ladies! I have class this morning and will work out in the afternoon. Perhaps a run if the storm hasn't hit yet...otherwise, alternate cardio + 4DS SCT or Ba&Bi.
Edited to fix a glaring typo that made no sense. Also to add:
Shelly :: Somehow my personal to you was truncated when I cut & pasted...Meant to also say those slow nights are the worst, eh?
