Cheetahs 6/1-6/7

Hey Wendy!

I am feeling SO good today. :D Just got back from about a 7.5 miler outside. Held a 9:40 pace with zero knee pain the whole way.:D:cool::D:cool: YIPEE!!!!!!! :) About died the second half of the run, though-- uphill against the wind...:eek::eek: didn't quite plan that one very well! ;) I haven't felt that strong in almost a year. Maybe I'm better prepared for this relay than I thought. :) (Only 2 weeks... ACK!!!)

I love, love, love Jillian's new workouts. Even though I don't use very heavy weights they always beat me up pretty good. :D

I hear you about the book workouts. Sometimes it just seems like you've just gotta think too much... :p;):) Yesterday I was EXHAUSTED and just couldn't get the momentum up to do the circuit in the book. So I did one of her DVD circuits that targeted the same muscles... so I don't feel like I cheated too much. ;) To answer your question, each week there are 2 totally new circuits. You only repeat a circuit once. Don't know if that makes sense... but the way it ends up working for me is that each week I do the same workout on Monday and Thursday, and the other new circuit Tuesday and Friday. Then there's totally new workouts for the next week, etc. The first circuit of the week focuses on push muscles, the second on pull muscles... and the circuits get progressively harder as the month goes on. I've heard great things about NROL4W... I may have to try that one out in awhile. :D

Oh, yes, the GWF would be fabulous, that's for sure!!!!! So many gadgets... so little time.... :D:p:cool:

Tonight is my cousin's wedding... Trying to decide if I've burned enough calories today for a little cheat wedding cake. ;) Gotta jet.... Have a fab weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Brighton!

Thanks for the MTC details. Great run! That's awesome. I'm so happy that you didn't have any pain. You are gonna ROCK that relay girl! :)

So I went out with friends last night at the last minute. I got drunk. It was fun. :D I am now paying for it a bit though. I think when DH gets up I will head back to bed for a bit. Part of my problem is that I'm exhausted. I went to bed at 1am and got up at 6am (force of habit). I think a little more sleep will help A LOT!

Once I feel better I am planning on a leg work out and a run or EXT session.

Hey, Wendy! :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence :) with the relay... I'm meeting with the girls next week to work out logistics... it's getting so close!!! Glad you had a fun night out this weekend-- and get some rest to recover!!! :D Sounds like you had a great workout today-- and got to use the DBs! :)

I did a little light yoga today-- about 35 min off Shiva's Fluid Power Vinyasa Flow dvd. It felt really good after the long run yesterday. Still no knee pain today, and I was walking around in heels last night at my cousin's wedding! Hooray! :) I thought for certain I'd be hurting today. It's very reassuring.

Well, I'm about ready to call it a day, have some dinner, and tuck in for the night! Hope everyone is doing okay out there in Cheetahville-- it's been awfully quiet!!!

Brighton,

So was the wedding fun? I love weddings! :D

Today's work out will either be legs/core or BL Bootcamp. Not sure yet.

I am going to start playing around with my calorie intake. I have been doing the same thing for a while now and while I am not gaining, losses are coming at a ridiculously slow pace.

Gotta get ready for work/school now!

BBL!
