:::CHEETAH Den:::Tuesday

Christine :: The thing I wouldn't mind seeing is the Great Wall. Hong Kong looks cool, too...You know, it's interesting. I love having travel companions, but I did a solo trip to Amsterdam (first time I ever traveled to a new city alone) a couple of summers ago, and I wasn't sure how that would be, but it turned out to be one of my best trips ever...So far, I like the software A LOT...It's very similar to WW in terms of searching for foods or adding custom foods and favorites. Easy to input. One advantage WW has, IMO, is the ability to figure in your workouts. This program would be even better if you could enter workout info. But overall, the report card aspect and the meal suggestions feature make this the preferred program of the two. It's not just about tracking but about helping you make better choices. Genius. And it's also a few bucks cheaper per month than WW. Oh yeah, I'm converted...Great run and BOSU ab work. :)

ETA :: forgot to say earlier - Wendy, definitely let's try the chat thing. I ventured over there once, but no one was there.

Oh boy, I just read Cathy's review of the Nutrion program...I'm in trouble now!LOL

So who's interested in trying to arrange a live chat GTG besides Cathy and I??

So I'm likin' the bell idea for what to bring with me on vaca. I had thought about it too--just bringing my 20 pounder and perhaps a pre-written work out so that I don't have to THINK about what I am going to do while I'm there. I am also considering bringing my high step topper with one riser and my gymboss. I can easily create some HIIT cardio with that!

I do have to say, there *are* some bugs with the nutrition program...Somehow when I advanced through some of the screens, I suddenly had somebody else's nutrition info (no one I could identify via user name). She's eaten far healthier than I have today. *lol* But I when I logged out and back in again, everything was right. Something else just discovered: when you're looking for a meal suggestion to help you "get all As," you can make specifications about the nutrient breakdown you want, or you can make non-dairy, non-meat type of restrictions. It may not be perfect in its intial stages, but the concept is absolutely brilliant.

Wendy :: sounds like a great travel workout plan.

Keep the enabling coming Cathy...You'll make Cathe a ton of money in new Nutrition program memberships! :D

Gotta rinse off the sunscreen and then get to my work out!

BBL!

Hi Cheetahs!

I hope no one minds, but I will be posting personals from today. Pip is napping so I am not sure how much time I have. She is a whipper snapper that is for sure.

Wendi: That is great you got to watch NFNS. DH and I thought it was pretty predictable too. I am one who is behind the times with tech stuff too. :)

Cathy: Pip is really keeping me active. Sounds like a great workout today. That nutrition software sounds cool. Cathe will have it working top notch in no time I am sure. Good investment. I know you will get your eating straightened out in no time! :)

Judy: Good luck golfing today! Sorry about the car troubles. They are a pain. I bet you will like the KB workouts.

Christine: Love the color on the personals!! Pip did sleep through the night last night luckily. She truly is in baby stage right now. You are right, she will be grown up in no time. I do not think our friend liked China either. Can you imagine living somewhere with so much pollution? Yuck. Sounds like a really nice workout you did this morning. When Pip is a little bigger she will be running with me. I am looking forward to that.

Wendy: I would be up for a chat, but with Pip now, I could probably not commit, as I never know what she will need and when. Congrats on the bowling last night.

Carole: LOL about the clutter/crap and DH. Ellie and Pip will be hunting together. Scary situation last night. I am so happy he is back to himself. B&G is a good one for sure.

Karen: Hello. I joined the Cheetahs in April. In the summer I am usually really swetty too after a run. Great getting it in. Have fun going to the library.

Jackie: Good to have you back in the den. I was wondering where you were! That workout sounds fun! :)

I still need to get in my run. I have been running around like crazy with Pip though. I will try to get it in, but I just might rest today. I will try and get back later today. Enjoy your afternoon everyone!

Cathy- How much was the softwear. I saw the demo on it the other day but couldn't get a price on it. I used fitday until I was locked out one time and when I went back I couldn't get my password. I had to open up all over again and it lost all my info. and then I was pissed. I love the report card becasue I know I have some BAD grades.

Christine_ Glad you made it out the door. A little run is all you needed.

Gloria- I take it Pip is a dog? I think I saw pics of ( him/her??) the other day. Adorable. Karen

Hi Cheetahs!

Fly-by post for me! I'm done with my work out so I gotta shower up quickly to head to MIL's for dinner tonight!

I did 4DS shoulders/calves/core. I admit to only doing the first round of calf raises. They were pretty much cramping by the end and I still had HIIT to do so I couldn't keep going!
I did all of the shoulder and core work though. :)

For HIIT I pulled out BM2 and did the blast portions from the power circuits with 60 second rests between them. Great cardio kick and also felt a bit like plyo legs doing it on the 8" step! YEOWZAS! :D

Well, I'm off! Hope to get back here later tonight to catch up on things!

BFN.

Hi Cheetahs!

Gloria- your siggy came out nice. i am having a hardtime getting color into mine.

Wendy- Nice cardio today!

Christine- DD17 was in China 2 summers ago and had similar comments for parts of her trip. She did have a chinese chaperone though which was helpful. And her home stay was really a nice experience there.

Cathy- yuck about the scale! But i hope this new software will be a fun way to make good choices for you. You went to Amsterdam alone? Awesome!

Well after golf I did 4DS upper body premix for a nice change. Working predominately one muscle group per exercise was different, especially the biceps and triceps. But it was all good.

Carole- I am sorry about Beau getting ill. poor thing!

Karen- Hi and welcome. Yesterday's plan was supposed to be total body and HIIT. I prefer to do the HIIT first, but then I ran out of time.

I am up for a cheetah chat .

Ok is the color option the same here as in the old forum? I cannot get the color to come up in my signature.

Tomorrow I should getthe Kettle bell and DVDto try out.

Good evening ladies!

And so begins my next two days of he!!:(. I really need to get to bed in the next couple of minutes because my alarm will be going off at 2:15am ) for a horse show.

I'm sorry I don't have time for personals right now but I will try my very best to get back here tomorrow afternoon after the show. I will say that I am definitely up for a Cheetah Chat sometime!

Gonna go get cleaned up and jump into bed. Nightie night!

Hi Girls.

Finally back from MIL's and have put DS to bed. I wanted to get outta there by 7:30 at the latest to get him home, give him a quick bath and toss him (okay, maybe not LITERALLY, LOL)into bed by 8:45. Well that didn't work. He did everything in his power to waste time at MIL's so he wouldn't have to leave. I was pretty  by the time we actually got on the road. Then when we got home he was foolin' around and all I wanted to do was give him a quick bath and get him upstairs for bed. Made me even more mad! I fixed his little 3 year old tushy though...he had to go to bed w/o his beloved "Dude" (stuffed Baby Gund Lamb he's had since birth) for the first 5 minutes. It's like the end of the universe when ya take Dude away from that kid...ESPECIALLY at bedtime! So anyway, I think we understand eachother now. ;)

Wendi: OMG girl. I don't know how you do it with your CRAZY schedule! I bow down to you girl. I couldn't even pull an all-nighter in college much less get up at 2am to go to work for a full day! YIKES!

Judy: So which kb dvd did you order??

Gloria: Your new baby takes presidence over chat. If you log in and can't stay long or get interrupted...no big deal! If it works out, we'll do it again at some point I am sure.

Jackie: Glad your patience paid off and you finally got your password. I'm still waiting for mine! LOL Nice work out today.

Christine: I am taking your kb advice and will drag my 20# kb along with me on vacation but will also have my high step + 1 riser in tow as well as my gym boss. I figure I can get a killer weight work out AND HIIT session in that way! I can understand the boredom once DH is gone more then a couple of days. Especially if DD is gone too. I love the quiet time when NO ONE is home but you are right...amazingly enough it DOES get boring rather quickly. I actually love to clean when the house is empty. How sad is that!? LOL

Cathy: So you seem to be quite happy with your purchase of the nutrition program. Come up with any new and interesting observations that you haven't posted yet?

Okay, I *think* I'm all caught up here. Forgive me if I forgot to respond to anyone!

Off to curl up with one of my new fitness books. :)

Night!
