Call me a math nerd, but if you are increasing your weights 5% after the 1st week and every week thereafter, wouldn't you theoretically increase your strength by 21.55% after the 4 weeks are over? Say you lift 100 lbs for week 1; then 105 lbs for week 2; then it's 110.25 lbs for week 3 and 115.75 lbs for week 4. Assuming the 5% still holds, wouldn't you then be able to lift 121.55 lbs at the beginning of week 5? Of course, you could just say 15.75% stronger by the 4th week which would still be incredibly impressive. Am I missing something or why does the blog photo title say 5% stronger after 4 wks?
