Hi there to all you "fitness babes"!!
Im still alive Debbie H.!!
I took a few weeks away from posting as I havent been doing any tapes and started to feel like maybe I shouldnt post for awhile. My life has been hectic with work travel and upcoming birth of our second child.
Basically I have been mountain biking ALOT over the last few weeks and enjoying the fall foliage. This is my time of year. I am still lifting hard and I have really increased in size as far as muscle is concerned. Believe it or not, I actually tore two pairs of jeans I pulled out for the winter!! Funny as heck! Not sure if wife likes it or not! My legs, bis, and tris have shown really good results as well as my shoulders. Im able to hold my goal weight of 185 lbs. On a 6ft frame that's probably where I want to be. So.......this year's work is paying off. I have been going 3 days a week cardio. It's pretty intense however and I feel no real dropoff in my cardio fitness. Also have thrown in ciruit work here and there.
My week was as follows---still no cathe tapes but I promise to start on those as weather gets colder! I am just enjoying outdoors too much!!
Mon. -- 2 hrs. mountain bike, 45 mins. in fitness center on weights: total body workout(QUICK!! -PHEW!!)
Tues. -- nothing
Wed. -- as per Mon.
Thurs. -- nada
Fri. -- 45 min. trail run and no weights.
I also am doing 3 sets of about 60 crunches using ab roller.
Starting this week I will be able to utilize tues. and thurs. again. I was helping my son with paper route on those days but now he has no more soccer practice which was interfering with that.
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of SLOW SLOW SLOW movements when lifting, especially the negative part of a lift. This has really helped me with definition.
Baby has been kicking ALOT and I have been seen talking to Michelle's stomach!! lol!! Im sooooo ready for this and very psyched. Michelle is anemic and has started iron supplements. Everything is GO for Jan. 3!!
Take care ladies!! You all really bust your asses(!!) with your workouts and it is extremely motivating to me. Keep up the incredible work ethic.
