The triathlon is one of those mini ones. The swim is .5 km, the bike 20 km (have not biked once yet!) and the run is 6 km (4km totally uphill and 2 down). I will be winging it this year. Finishing it will be no problem - getting a better time than 2 years ago will be the tricky and probably difficult part since I prepared way better back then. Oh well, my house looks great.

Hi Denice! I have a few yoga tapes, but the one I keep coming back to are Ali MacGraw's Yoga Mind and Body, Crunch Joy of Yoga and Yoga Zone's Total Body Conditioning. Those are my favorites. There's one, when I have enough time, call Yoga with Ateeka. Very good tape, just a little longer than the others.

I also need help building a rotation.
Here are the videos I own : MIS, Two the Max, Intense Moves, Pilates Precision Toning, Firm 3 (don't like it), Yoga Journal (Flexibility), Firm Cardio.
Of those MIS, TwotheMax and Intense Moves are the ones I want to keep doing. I love yoga and pilates but after I am done with cardio, weights and stretch there is, at this point, no time left for anything else- I have about 1 to 1.5 hours per day, 5 days/week.

I am tempted to buy the CTX series because it seems to offer such variety. Or should I buy PS with a couple of cardio tapes...Or maybe SH with some cardio. Or maybe I should start with some earlier tapes and go from there.... Can you tell I am confused,

If any one could give me direction, I would greatly appreciate it. I have been working out for about 4 months and I don't really need to lose weight (5'2" and 109 lbs) but I would love to get stronger, have more stamina and endurance, get more muscular definition. My husband is training for a triathlon and I am thinking of doing the same. Now, I just need to learn to swim in a straight line

Oh fitmommy, Am I sooooooooooooo jealouse My dream to be that weight. OHHHHHHHHHHHHH I am 5" 150 lbs some weight definitly muscle, really have to lose at least 20-25 lbs, trying to find a good nutritionist in my area to maybe desighn a menu, well see. Anyway I have a zillion firm tapes but I cant compare to cathe, I love her tapes that I have. You really feel like you are working out. I am like I said above rotating the slow and heavy series along with the cardio, but do indeed need to get that step tape, I dont want anything that is hard to follow so I am still getting suggestions foe a cathe step tape to add to my rotation. I have ps series that I will do with cardio after this rotation. I too was thinking of ordering the cross train express, but read some posts saying it really was not for me right now, I cant remember exactly what it was aside from the fact that i am a spaz when it comes to following the stepp tapes, I have to get one of her easier ones first. well good luck to you talk to you later I am off to do tris and bis and cardio kicks, and then ill be pack on pc to try and find a better stepp to buy I hate the one I have. see ya later. FitDay was a huge help for me. I never had a weight problem until I started taking the pill. Then the pounds just started to pile on. I did fitday for one month and that gave me a very clear picture of my nutritional problems. I was consuming wayyyyy too much carbs, not enough protein plus my diet was low on some key minerals and vitamins. Writing everything I ate was time consuming but I learned a lot in the process; plus it made me think twice before I ate something, 'cause i knew I would have to write it down. Anyway just wanted to share...

Thanks fitmommy, Thanks for the suggestion I'll pop them up and see what it is about. I did try ediets and I lost 5lbs but like you say the carbs are my enemy, the second I eat them I blow up, and it is so hard because all the things I love are carbs, like bread, pasta etc. Well willpower is the key, and im getting there. After having my kids I never lost the weight, My seam is 4 and alexandria is 2 so thats it its time to buckle down and get rid of this weight........ I just did cardio kicks and im off to feed my kids check in later, if you find any stepps on the web let me know. Denice
