Cardio Crosstrainers 6-1-02
Hey everyone!!! I hope your week has been great!!! I'm still trying to get into my usual routine after coming back from vacation but I did fairly well this week. We had such a good time at the beach. My son must take after my husband's side of the family because he is just not normal. He does not like the water and he does not like the sand. I am thinking of taking him for swimming lessons in a couple of weeks but I'm not sure it will do any good because he just wants to cling TIGHTLY to me when he's in the water. I am still so excited about him being potty trained though. LOVE IT!

MONDAY: BFRD

TUESDAY: 2 hours of gardening

WEDNESDAY: Totally Cool Step
15 minute stretch

THURSDAY: Total body at the gym
10 minute stretch

FRIDAY: CIA 2202-Step
15 minute stretch

SATURDAY: 2 hours yardwork. Helped my brother cut his grass. Thank goodness it wasn't as high as the last time.

I hope to be in full swing next week if circumstances will cooperate. If I could just get more sleep I think my weariness would subside. My son (did I mention he's potty trained ) gets me up 2 hours earlier because he has to GO but of course does not go back to sleep. Then last night my husband fished from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. by himself. I didn't sleep well because I thought he might sneak in earlier and I would think he was someone breaking in and I would shoot him. So I would snooze lightly and then wake up, snooze lightly and wake up... Enough babbling . Looking forward to hearing about y'alls week!!!!!!

I never check in anymore because just didn't take the time, and I thought what I did was kind of boring. But, I'm up very early (4:45 am) so I'll do it this week.

Sunday: Off

Monday: Stepworks - for the second time. I LIKE this tape! I was scared to try it for way too long, but now I see that it is going to be a favorite. Biceps from J. Vedral's book Fat Burning Workout.

Tuesday: Leg workout on the Jake Bun & Thigh Rocker plus leg extensions and walking lunges. I do the advanced workout on the Jake machine, which takes about 15 minutes (5 exercises, 3 sets each with all the bands attached plus 5 lbs of plate mates). A real good, time saving workout. I'm totally hooked.

Wednesday: Taebo Live Advanced 2. I love this tape because it has LOTS of kicks. Back work from PS Back & Biceps

Thur.: Imax

Friday: Jake Leg machine, 5 exercises, 3 sets; plus chest and shoulders from Joyce Vedral's book (see Monday).

Saturday: Walked at Beaver Valley Mall in Monaca, PA. I love mall walks!

I'm going to meet with another trainer on Thursday to get really acclaimated using calipers so I do it RIGHT! She is also going to give me some pointers for getting a clientele going.

Happy first week of June! Cheez, how time flies!

I too was on vacation last week and trying to get back into the swing of things. My eating habits have been on vacation much longer, but that's another topic! Here's my week...

Monday...Cardio Kicks + abs

Tuesday...Total upper body using Joyce's book Definition (4 exercises per body part)+ abs

Wednesday...recumbent bike, 30 minute intervals

Thursday...Cory Everson's Get Hard Arms & Shoulders (first time doing this one, boy did it burn! But, wasnt really sore the next day, but it was very time efficient, 23 minutes) + Aaron Lankford's Powerkicks (skipped the standing leg work)

Friday...CTX LLA (ouch!)

Saturday...MIS upper body only

Sunday...rest day (gotta love 'em!)

I'm thinking about doing a Joyce-Cory strength rotation for awhile just for a change of pace or possibly the MF Hers rotation. I cant seem to make up my mind!

Have a good week everyone!!

Hey, everybody! I am back on the triathlon training wagon! Woo-hoo! :-jumpy

Kelly--make sure no one ever panics when your son is around water, "oh, no, get away from the edge!" Swim lessons are a great idea. I think you guys will have fun.

Honeybunch--your workouts are always interesting and creative. Glad you're here!

OK, here's my week:
SUNDAY: 1:20 bike, CTX chest, Pilates mat exercises
MONDAY: CTX triceps & biceps, Pilates mat

Andrea -

Next week I have to add Deb H's Hi/Lo to the mix...this is my first time out teaching her classes. It's a little overwhelming! I wonder how I'm going to remember all that, but at least I know I'll have fun.

Gulp!

HB

I'd really love to hear how you like teaching. You can just send an email if you don't want to post it. It seems like a TON to remember at first, but it gets easier. When I want something new now, I'll just go over it 3-4 times during the day before class and I've got it!

You're adrenaline will be up there too! Unfortunately, the interest wasn't there where I live and I won't be teaching anymore:'( It was a rush for me with only 4-5 people. I can't imagine 10-15!

Have fun with it!

Andrea
