Hello everyone!!!! This has been a fairly good week. It's nice to get outside and play in the water with my son. I think we skipped spring and slid right into summer though. Sooooo hot. My son loves water and will play with buckets and the hosepipe until we drag him kicking and screaming in the house. Today we had water guns so needless to say we were a little wet when we went inside. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!! Hate that he has to grow up.

MONDAY: Total body at the gym
15 minute stretch

TUESDAY: Totally Cool Step
15 minute stretch

WEDNESDAY: Total body at the gym
10 minute stretch

THURSDAY: Totally Hot Cardio
15 minute stretch

FRIDAY: Went fishing. Came home and helped my daddy till his garden. That wasn't exactly fun. It was like trying to control a bucking bronco. Our ground is very, very hard! This was definitely an upper body workout complete with blisters.

SATURDAY: 1 hour of yardwork which included pulling weeds. Not my favorite but it has to be done!!!

We enjoyed our fishing trip and I actually caught a few fish this time. Boy did it get hot up in the day. I felt like just jumping in the water but the only water I swim in is pool water. I don't like swimming with unknown creatures. Yuck!

Hope everyone has a great week!!!

Hey everyone!

Well, this week was pretty good for me despite the fact that our temps were in the 90s which was quite an adjustment from the week before when it was in the 60s!

My week:

Sunday: Powerstrike Mill. #2 (my first time doing this tape, LOVE it!!!)

Monday: PS Lying Floor Leg Work/Abs

Tuesday: PS Chest/Back/Biceps; CTX Kickbox; Abs

Wednesday: Rest Day

Thursday: Leaner Legs/Abs

Friday: MIS Chest/Back/Shoulders; CTX Step & Intervals

Saturday: MIS Biceps/Triceps/Abs; First 35 min of CIA 9907

Sunday: I'm planning to do MIC figuring that I never get up in enough time on Mondays anyway to work out before work....we'll see how that goes.

Have a good week everyone!

Hey guys!
Sounds like everyone had good weeks -

School vacation week and we were away some of it- so I decided to take a week off weight training. When I was lifting 6-10 years ago I'd do this 3-4 times a year and always found my results after would VERY good.

So here it was
Sunday - run 3 miles
Monday - rest (well not rest but I'm not including all the walking we did in Newport)
Tues - run 3 miles
Weds - (on beach so didn't know mileage but 1/2 hour)
Thurs - rest
Friday - Lean legs
Sat - kick box

Had my bathing suit on this week and felt like I still have away to go :( GUess this just upped the bar for me - of course I do stupid things at the beach like compare myself to an 18 year old :( DUH!
Ate pretty clean but not totally - I must say feel GREAT mentally after this week somewhat off!

Have a great week all!

Everyone is so enthusiastic! That's Great!

Here's mine:

Sun. 3 mile run

Mon. Had to cancel my class cause we had 91 mph winds! Rhythmic Step sec. 1 & 3, S&H chest and back.

Tue. S&H legs and shoulders

Wed. Taught a hi/lo

Thu. rest

Fri. Took my first spin class, followed by my first live step class! FUN! Neither class had any cooldown at all though. Weird.

Sat. S&H tris and bis...two sets of all only.

I havent posted in about 2-3 weeks. I had what I thought was the stomach flu and then it really ended up being a UTI..painful!! Needless to say, my workouts went to pot, and my eating did too!! I didnt eat clean at all, and I stopped writing in my food journal. I usually weigh myself every Monday morning but was too chicken last Monday because I knew the number would depress me. Last week I tried to do better, but still havent done well. I'm still going to weigh myself tomorrow morning, depression or not. I've felt fine for days, it's amazing how easy it is to fall back into old bad habits!! I need to get back in gear soon since the weather is nice and I'm tired of feeling dread everytime I think about having to wear shorts!! My workout week...

Monday--MIC (skipped the intervals at the end, felt sick to my stomach)

Tuesday--Unplanned rest day

Wednesday--Step Works + Power Hour (omitting legs)

Thursday--Planned Rest Day

Friday--Circuit Max (legs only) + S&H Shoulders only + abs

Saturday--S&H Chest/Back

Sunday--plan to do S&H Bicep/Tricep

I really need some words of encouragement and motivation this week!! Wish me luck!!

I'm an aunt!

Hi everyone! My sister had a baby girl on the 17th! She lives in NY, and I was just there for her baby shower a few weeks ago--the baby was a few weeks early, but not early enough for me to have been able to see her! Oh, well. I will go back in late May or early June to see her...she is adorable, of course :) My sister's labor was pretty awful, she actually had a seizure during her 3 hours of pushing, and has since had a CAT scan. They found some leisions (sp?) on her brain (!), so of course I am terribly worried, but I'm sure all will be well...Anyway, I worried and ate terribly to comfort myself this week.:

MONDAY: rest

TUESDAY: Totally Hot Cardio (yay!) plus abs

WEDNESDAY: Totally Cool Step bonus wu and wu
Power Circuit step circuits
Circuit Max step circuits --barbell, no upper body

THURSDAY: rest (sister stress)

FRIDAY: rest (more sitster stress)

SATURDAY: Totally Cool Step
Power Hour abs

SUNDAY: Totally Hot Cardio bonus warmup + bonus burns from both Totally DVDs
PS CST and BBA
PSLA: Sit and Stands (2X), deadlifts, calf raises, all floorwork and abs
LL step ups
(My knees have been twingey lately, so I think I'll have to skip lunges and squats on my second leg workout each week...)

Hope you all have wonderful weeks!
Wendy
