Hey Lori!

I just keep a spiral notebook down in my workout room. It only talks a few seconds to write down what I do. Heaven knows I would NEVER remember what tapes or workouts I did all week. Just a suggestion!

I finally decided my body need some time off. At times it was very hard not to pop in a video and workout! I did do a little something, but nothing hard on my knees. I'm just waking up to go for a run, so we'll see how it did.

Sun. 3.5 mile run (this was the deciding factor)

Mon. rest

Tue. S&H chest and back

Wed. rest

Thu. S&H bis and tris

Fri. and Sat. rest

Andrea

I started off the week suffering from exhaustion after a summer of directing camp. :-tired

SUNDAY: short walk after dinner (saw lots of bats!)
MONDAY: spinning class :50, swim :20
TUESDAY: hike 1:30 at Rocky Mountain National Park, which has got to be one of top ten most beautiful places on the planet
WEDNESDAY: off
THURSDAY: bike 1:30
FRIDAY: Pilates studio class, Cathe upper body mix (S&H pullovers, MIS back, chest, CTX shoulders, triceps, MIS biceps)
SATURDAY: swim :35, hike 1:00

I'm feeling pretty good now. It never ceases to amaze me how lousy stress can make you feel.

DH and I are going out for a long hike today. Ah, the burden of living in Colorado --- so many trails, so little time.

Have a good week everybody!

Hi guys! I almost stuck with my rotation for the week, but an extra rest day threw me off a little...

Sunday: Intense Moves, tris and bis planned
Have a great week!

Hello everyone! My week wasn't too good but if I can count working in my bathroom a workout, well, then I did great. I basically have to put the flooring in and the project is complete. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

The only days I worked out were Thursday and Friday. Thursday I did chest, shoulders, and triceps and Friday I did back, biceps and legs. I got a good workout and am really sore but other than that it was just me and the bathroom!

Hope to report more next week!!!!

I'll not go into the day by day accounts of what I did this week, except to say that I did HiLo Heaven for the first time, again after being afraid of the Collage description of "complex" choreography. I wish they'd knock it off! It wasn't bad at all to follow.

Also did an upper body workout (in a motel in Beaver Falls, PA) with my Xertube and the door attactment! What a great tool that is to use when you're away from home. Or AT home, for that matter.

Yippee! Honeybunch, did you have FUN with Hi-Lo Heaven?? You've got to try Step Heaven--it is one of Christi's best, I just love it. Also, if you're more interested in Hi-Lo, I would reccommend CIA 9801 and Still Jumpin'. Are you trying to get new choreography for your clients? Christi is the way to go! I hope you love her as much as I do :) :) :)
Every time you or Debbie post about PA I miss my family. My BF is originally from Beaver, my mom still lives in State College, and I lived in Mercer/Grove City area till I was about 11. Hope it wasn't too humid in Beaver Falls!

Hi!

DebbieH - you're our energizer bunny
Andrea - sometimes it takes a poor workout to remind us that our bodies need a break. We've had a terrible dose of your weather -too bad you don't get a respite when it heats up here. Wendy would surely think this is a cool spell.
Gretchen- no fair fueling my Rocky Mtn. envy. As my husband noted, our hike was certainly good training but it sure wasn't scenic nor very high on the fun scale.

Last week of Slow & Heavy!! I know all of the lines now. It's kind of like Rocky Horror Picture Show except I'm by myself.

Mon: Pilates mat class; S&H legs & shoulders
Tue: ran 75 min w/ DH; Tamilee 30 min stretch
Wed: trot 30 min w/ hounds; Spinning; S&H C&B w/ nasty planks
Thu: rest
Fri: cycle 24.5 flat miles; S&H Tri, Bi & abs
Sat: hike 15 miles w/ DH (Too Darn Hot - is that Gershwin?)
Sun: recovery ride - 15 miles

Looks like a functional fitness week coming up. DH is going to be gone - so some major cleaning & Goodwill runs coming up.

Have a great week everyone!
Debra

It was hot & humid, but I stayed indoors. We like to eat at Papan's ...have you ever been there?
