Hope everyone had a great week also!

Hollie, sounds like you had a productive week. DO you like KV's personality? I can't get into her, but I like her workouts.

Here was my week:

M: CTX Power Circuit & CTX shoulders
T: CTX Kickbox & CTX chest
W: CTX Leaner Legs & CTX triceps
T: Interval Max
F: Walk dogs 1.5 miles/rest
S: Jog with dogs 2 miles and upper body from Body Max
S: Walk dogs 2.75 miles

Stacy/Kristie: If you are checking in, I like this rotation you helped to design for me. I think I finished my 4th week now and plan to go on for another 2 weeks and then do S&H!

Take care and Happy Memorial Day!

Don't you hate it when you want to sleep in, but wake up at 5:30 anyway? :-sleepy

Didn't really train this week. Just worked like crazy!

SUNDAY: 10 walk/23 run/10 walk
MONDAY: fun at dentist's office
TUESDAY: 2 miles hiking with kids
WEDNESDAY: 7 miles hiking with kids :-wow
THURSDAY: 3 miles hiking with kids, 6 miles on own, climbed the "Castle Rock" at work
FRIDAY: rest day
SATURDAY: 1.5 mile walk

Thursday was especially cool. I did the 6 mile hike with this awesome co-worker, who is an avid rock climber. She talked me up Castle Rock. I really didn't know I could put my leg up so high and pull myself up!

I'm renewing my commitment to triathlon training this week, and getting out the ol' CTX DVD for weights as well. School's out, so I don't have any excuses! ;-)

Hi Everyone,
I had a pretty good week as well.I don't know if you remember from the last check in but I was going to try to do more weights and less cardio.
Sunday: Body Max

Monday: Rest

Tuesday:Jog *kms morning
,
Wendesday:power hour morning, jogged 8 kms evening

Thursday: Shoulders, biceps, and abs in morning, jogged 8 kms evening

Friday: Power hour evening was going to do Rythmic step but my legs were way to weak after lifting 40 pounds

Saturday:Rythmic Step and abs

I do abs almost everyday but I did some new excercises this week and my belly was hurting.
I al;so cut back to 1500-1600 calorie diet and ate alot of protein and I was down 2 pounds when I weighed,
Hope you have a great week,
Lori

LAST EDITED ON May-27-02 AT 09:58AM (Est)[p]Hi guys :)
Well, for the past two weeks I've planned to do upper body 2X per week with PS, but both weeks it has turned into once a week. I would be frustrated, but since I am actually seeing results, I'm going to just keep doing this for a while!
Here's my week, with only 3 cardio and heaviest weights ever (heaviest for me, that is-- I'm still not up to 50 lbs for biceps!!!) for PS!

MONDAY: rest

TUESDAY: Franny Cardio Party HI-Lo wu and I
KV abs on step
TW standing stretch

WEDNESDAY: PS back chest and bis
own stretches

THURSDAY: rest (DOMS)--planned PS shoulders and tris

FRIDAY: TCS 40 minutes

SATURDAY: sick rest :-(

SUNDAY: PS shoulders, tris, legs and abs

I'm telling you, you don't have to do as much as you think to see results! Heavy up your weights and lighten up on your cardio--it might work for you, too! :) :)

Well, I've been doing that "tank top rotation" I read about here for the past two weeks, and I already see GREAT improvement. Which just psyches me to keep it up!

Monday: PS Chest/Shoulders/Back/Biceps/Triceps

Tuesday: 37 min Stairmaster/S&H Legs

Wednesday: MIS Shoulders/Biceps/Triceps/Abs

Thursday: CTX Power Circuit Cardio/Planks/Abs

Friday: CTX Kickbox/Power Hour Shoulders/Biceps/Triceps

Saturday: MIS Chest/Back; CTX 101010; Tamilee Abs

Sunday: Decided I was very much in need of a Rest Day!

Hope everyone is having a good holiday!

Terri

Hey guys!

Sounds like everyone had great weeks...

I'm in some kind of major plateau - feeling really frustrated with my progress or lack there of... :(
I've been eating clean for 3 months - look fine in regular clothes - weight is within 3 lbs of goal - but I STILL am NOT AT ALL HAPPY with how I look in shorts :( --- I'm about to give up and say I'm NEVER going to be firm - will NEVER look good in shorts - and just deal with it. Generally being frustrated is good it gets me to get to the next level - but now I'm begining to think my goals are too high - give in to genetics and just stay out of shorts :(

Here is my last week

Sun - 10-10-10 - free weights upper body
Mon
Tues - Kick box - upper body gym
Weds - All step - S&H legs
Thurs - S&H legs
Fri
Sat - Step interval - freee weights upper body and lower body

so did my 4 cardio (tried to get in more step) and 3 legs... but NO improvement :(

Hi Cruncholi!!

Yes, I really do like Karen Voight A LOT!! Her Energy Sprint was one of my first step tapes (I don't count the Firm as "step"), and I LOVE it to this very day! I also really, really like Strong & Smooth Moves -- it's a great low-impact workout that gets me sweating, and I totally dig the music in that video. And I wish I had Karen's body....<sigh>... She's kind of a no-nonsense gal when it comes to working out, and I like that just as much as I like Gin's silliness and Mindy's whackiness!! :) :-jumpy

Terri1222, I started the Tank Top Rotation last week also! Here was my week:

Monday - CTX Chest, Back & Abs, Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps

Tuesday - off

Wednesday - CTX Kickbox, Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders

Thursday - MIC hi/lo & PS Legs (floor work) & abs

Friday - MIS

Saturday - 3km run/walk with my kids

Sunday - off

Have a great week everyone!

Sandi

Hi. I too am doing the tank-top workout! I'm going to be starting week 3. My results I believe are less than stellar because my eating has been totally pathetic the last two weeks!! I'm really bummed with the layer of flab that is slowly creeping back on my body. Today I'm getting back on the clean eating bandwagon though!! (Trying to give myself a pep talk here) My workouts werent too bad though....

Mon--PS CST + PS BBA
Tues--Step Max
Wed--CTX Sh, Bi & Tri + 8 mile hike with hubby
Thur--went to a local amusement park, so walked around there
Fri--rest day
Sat--Step Jam
Sun--MIS

I really need a change in my workouts, but dont know to what yet. I think I'll stay on the tank top rotation for a while longer. I'm going to getting a new Cory Everson's arms tape I may add into the mix to replace the CTX days (less rewinding). I was also thinking about following Joyce Vedral's pyramid plan in her Definition book. Then there's always the killer 8 week workout in the latest M&F magazine.....so many possibilities, so little time!

:)Stacy

Hey All!

Here's my week:

Monday - WU & 1st sec of Step Heaven, cardio of CTX Power Circuit

Tuesday - Intense Moves & PS CST

Wednesday - PS L&A

Thursday - Happy Hour Hi/Lo & PS BBA

Friday - 6.5 mile run and PS L&A

Saturday - Interval Max

Sunday - 6.6 mile run and MIS Upper Body

Happy Workouts :)
Nicole

Nicole, all I have to say is....are you crazy??!!! How do you run over 6 miles and do Leaner Legs and then have the energy for Interval Max AND then run over 6 miles again the next day??? You must be bionic, lol. I ran 2.5 miles for the first time in 10 years about two weeks ago and could barely walk for 3 days, lol. Maybe I could borrow your legs sometime :)

You're my idol,

Stacy

Hey Stacy ..

You had me laughing my rear off :p

I guess I was able to pull of LL after my run because it's more of a jog than a run (I only do a 6 minute mile) ... I'm training for my very first 5K .. so I'm trying to really hit the legs to build up their endurance for the big day :) Afterwards however, you can have my legs!!

Happy Workouts!
Nicole

Holy Cow Nicole! A 6 minute mile is fast! I only do 10 minute miles!

My week:

Sun. Cardio Kicks
Mon. rest
Tue. Crunch Boot Camp and Vol. 4
Wed. Taught a hi/lo
Thu. Still Steppin' WU and 1st combo, BodyMax leg circuits, Power Hour upper body
Fri. vacation!
Sat. 2.8 mile run at our campground. Hills and higher elevation and felt great!

Andrea

Ugh ... I guess the brain wasn't working yesterday .. I TOO just run a 10 minute mile .. not a 6!... Geez .. =)
