"Chat" question

I see the Chat option on the above toolbar however, every time I click on it I NEVER see anyone in there "chatting"... what is this for and does anyone ever use it? if so, how?

I pop in sometimes.....and have a great chat!! (with myself) lol When the site first started, it was used a bit I think ,but then it sort of died off...........

Yeah, me too. I know sometimes someone will post a "Let's chat at ..." and post a suggested time. I really thought it would be used more often.

We had a few great chats in the beginning, sometimes posting a time, and sometimes just by chance. I rarely go in there anymore after finding no one around lately, but when we did chat it was a LOT of fun! (But it does keep you glued to your screen for a while!)
