Charlotte - question about your ME workout

Hi Charlotte,
I was reading the thread on you doing ME twice. You said that by doing an endurance workout one day and heavy training the next, the muscles respond better. I was wondering what you are doing for heavy weight work? What workouts are you doing? Can't you overtrain your muscles doing this? I'm really curious because this sounds like something I'd really like to try.

I'm not Charlotte, but I know she is doing the Slow and Heavy series today for her heavy weight.

Hey Debbie!

ME just seems to wake up my muscles. I have always had such good "heavy" workouts the next day. I usually do the slow and heavy series of Tri's/Bi's or PUB. I switch up on those and also switch up with db's verses barbells and incline/decline, etc. In addition, I am eating more carbs like sweet potatoes, brown rice and wheat pasta. Along with 8-10 hours of sleep, this all blends into perfect harmony for a successful workout.

After do ME twice yesterday, I got to tell you that my body has never felt so good. I just can't explain it, but I feel invigorated and in no way did I push myself beyond what I could do. I would never do that. I just feel great today! Now that I know how I feel from doing ME twice, I will do it twice once every 2 months to continue to shock my body.

I feel the same way about you! LOOK AT THEM PICTURES OF YOU!!!! WOO HOO! You are the best, Deb! Awesome dedicated hardworker and a loving great attitude!

I am not sure of what rotation I will be doing next month. I do know that I want to focus alittle bit more on running so I think I will still continue with heavy lifting and then cardio too, but not cardio everyday....maybe 3 times a week.

If I come out with another rotation, I will post it for you.;-)
