Good Morning

Its been raining here, off and on, for about a week now. The rain was real heavy overnight. We live on a lake and the shoreline is about 15ft from us:( and there is more rain to come...

We will have to evacuate if it gets too close:(. The school is closed today too...there are too many roads washed away. Im a little worried, couldn't really sleep last night.

I will keep you guys updated.

My rotation today calls for a rest day. But I will get in a CC on the treadmill after DH wakes up this afternoon.

My higher calorie day yesterday was good...i had REALLY bad cravings last night. But i MADE myself chew gum because i knew they would eventually pass;)

I will bbl with some personals...
 
Amelia, we posted at the same time. I deleted my thread. Hope the rain subsides and the lake level stays where it is suppose to be. How scary for you.

This morning was disc 19, chest, shoulders and triceps. Had to cut it short because I ran out of time. Having to take my car back in today before work. They were only able to test drive it last week. Hopefully today they will be able to figure out what is wrong.

The weather here is crappy to thunder, lightening, and rain. I am suppose to do legs tonite but I never got the chest and shoulder work done so I will do it instead. DH and I went for a 6 mile walk last nite didn't see any deer but we did see turkeys and snakes.

Amelia-I will keep my fingers crossed you are safe.

Jean-good workout today. Hope there is nothing major wrong with car.

Where have I been???
I just havn't checked in for ages! Sorry for that. And I've really nothing much to report. Have I missed much around here?
Amelia - We are getting a lot of rain here too, Im lovin it and we need it. I hope you guys will be ok.
Roxie - How have those diet pills worked for you?
Dreamy Jean - On another STS rotation? Going OK?
Elaine - How is everything in your neck of the woods? What have you been doing workout wise?

If I've missed anyone, sorry, its been a while since I popped in.
School holidays here, so Im trying to get as much "girl" time in with my girls as I can. I love having them home. Its pretty late and I should get to bed.
 
Andrea-yes still taking diet pills down to 123lbs but not really losing alot don't think I will do another month. My DH is taking medication to help him stop smoking his last cig will be Sept 24th can't wait for that one. I am doing a mixture of 30 min workouts right now I have a rest week next week then plan on doing a month of Kelly Coffey Meyer I bought her new workouts. Next week I am just going to do yoga and stretching. Glad to hear from you we all missed you. Are you still doing bootcamp and how is that going?
 
Amelia: Thinking of you. I noticed on OD someone else in Georga talking of all the rain and flooding.

Andrea: well,well.. glad to see you could drop in to chat. Let me see what have you missed. Well I've dropped a ton of weight and I am pretty buff if I do say so myself. Well in my dreams anyway!:p
I've been doing a rotation using the 4DS and GS WOs.

This morning I did 4DS BC Lower body Circuit. My HRM said I burned 690 cals. My HR stayed up the whole time. The time flew by. It was hard work but fun!

Morning

It was a close call yesterday, the water was within feet from my place( the "good grief,my house is flooded" thread on OD has pics) it was sooooooo chaotic yesterday.

I woke up this morning and the water level is about 5ft lower....what a relief:confused: Thanks for all the fingers crossed.

The schools are closed agian today, so my kids will be home driving me bonkers. Ive got a cardio coach on tabs later after DH wakes up....never did do anything yesterday. I did get one of my 1400 calorie days out of the way,yay!

Andrea-I missed you....glad to see you back! I started a 'zigzagging' calories diet about 17days ago...so far ive lost about 7lbs:)eek:) im sticking to this one...so proud of myself. On average im eating about 1600 cals a day,but im zigzagging them so i can have a higher calorie day on saturday. Seems to be working.

Jean-Great job with STS...my fingers are crossed about your car...

Roxie-Nice job on your workout last night.

Elaine-How are you doing today? Whats on tabs?

Good Morning,

Not doing very good about getting up early to workout so tonite is LM step only and some kind of core work. I have decided to add another core day. I get my first mammogram today and I am way so excited (NOT)! I have a dr. appt. today to make sure my cholesterol is ok and I am going to ask if there is another med that allows me to eat grapefruit, also noticed that my rest week coincides with TTOM so that is a perfect time to do stretching and yoga.

Amelia-glad to hear the water missed you hope it doesn't rain anytime soon.

Roxie: good luck getting your WO in. Getting up early is not easy.

Andrea, welcome back. I'm in the middle of my second round with STS. This time I'm doing the 5 1/2 month version. Still trying to keep my eating under control so that when I'm done, I'll have something to show for it. I add in jogging for cardio and try to get in a step workout every now and again.

Amelia, so glad about the water receding. Sending you Bright Blue Sky vipes to help dry it up.

Roxie, sorry the morning workouts aren't going as planned. At lest you are able to motivate yourself at night. If I miss my morning workout I never get back to it in the evening.

Elaine, nice job on the work out. Still waiting hear what they are going to do with my car.
 
Jean!!! You sun vibes worked...the sun is shinning!!! Its been about two weeks since i seen it....:D

Cardio Coach Volume 6 done. I only did the first and second challenge,it was still 48mins...burned 403. Thats good enough..

Elaine-nice job with 4ds...tough stuff

Roxie-I hope your doctors visit goes by quickly for you. Have fun with LM and core tonight!

Yeah im still madly bootcamping (madly being the operative word) I've just added spinning too. But my butt hates the bike seats and I now have a sore complaining butt.

Amelia - Glad the water didn't get to the house. Scary stuff!! Hows your young bloke getting on at school now?

Roxie - This is just a routine mamogram?

Elaine - Hows the car?

Jean - I hope you are wearing your jeans and tops tucked in showing off your yummy mummy figure!

Good morning. Workout done, STS legs and the triceps that I skipped on Monday. Yesterday I didn't post my workout. It was sprint intervals using CC V.4. I have another 5k on Saturday. This one is called "Break the Silence of Ovarian Cancer". I'm running to support one of our fellow Cathletes (TXGin) who has finished her chemo and is in remission.
My challenge this week is to get in my 3 weight and 3 cardio days again. I can do this, no excuses.

Good Morning,

Tonite is 4ds lower body I really don't like doing lower body. I found out why the dr. put me on diet pills her nurse wrote down the scale said 155lbs when I remember seeing 136lbs so when I went yesterday the scale said I was down to 132lbs she asked how I lost so much wt I told her I have never weighed 155lbs.

Jean-good job with the workout we can do this and we will do this.

Today is suppose to be a 45min Upperbody workout...but i may do a full body...not sure yet. The schools are still closed,ugh, i was really hoping to get the regular routine back agian today.

Ive GOT to quit peeking at the scale...its up one lb from my last WI and its starting to get on my nerves(i looked at it yesterday too:eek:) Im going to try and stay off of it until saturday morning...wish me luck:rolleyes:

Andrea- Nice job with your bootcamping and spinning. My little brutt is doing good in school...no more problems since his first week.

I did 4DS double cardio premix this morning.

andrea: My car was just getting a "wellness" check.Something they do here in the US. the car has to pass safety checks and emission checks every year. Spinning sounds like fun. Can you use a gel seat for the bike?
I use one when we go on long bike rides.

Jean: good luck with you 5k.

Roxie: I am not fond of lower body WOs but I know that is where I need it most. The good part is I burn some good cals doing lower body.

Amelia: I hope they open the schools soon. I really do not disruptions to my routine.

run interval @ the park then an upper body workout on tabs today. I never did workout yesterday...i lowered my cals to make up for it. so those two pesky 1400 calorie days are GONE for the week:D
