RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

My Vote is....drumroll.....Challengers:)

Well,so far so good! I have mananged two days of perfect eating. And I did jump on the scale today and it is down since my last WI on saturday-but NO WHERE near it should be. Still got like 5lbs to go x(. Dang,it sure is easy to gain weight,if it is weight? I hope its all just water. Anyways I'll get there:)

Andrea,What workout you doing today?

Today is PUB! I will try and increase some on the weights too! May not be able to on shoulders though. Will try!

everybody have a wonderful day and I will bbl!

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

Guys, hi, I like "The Challengers".

I have been doing Fitness Freaks Muscle Building and Defining Rotation. Just started week three and I love it!! She is very cleaver, Debbie, that is, at putting together a rotation. I will probably end up doing this one again as I keep missing days and so I am not getting the full benefit from it, but its a really good rotation. If anyone is interested her rotations are on the "rotation" forum.

My eating has been terrible which is why I let the end of the 12 week challenge slip away. I got very disheartened, but 6 weeks is a shorter time and at the end of it I'll probably end up going on again for another 6 weeks and so on and so on! :)

Amelia you have been doing really really well and its that last little 5lbs! you can do IT!!! The homeward stretch! You must be so proud of yourself. i think your inspirational. I know you have said that it has taken a long time but YOU HAVE DONE IT!!! :) Which is a lot more than I. I must not dwell on what has been, i am full of new determination!

I hope all who follow have a great day!

See Ya.
Andrea

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

Good Morning!

Yeah, why don't we just call ourselves "the challengers" to each there own then. If its 6 weeks...12 weeks...or 26 weeks...then you can still check in here! I was going to start the thread before I left work but had no idea what to call us!:)

Ameila** Sorry to hear the scale creeped back up on ya! Thats the worst. Then you don't know if you really lost the weight or if its just water weight. Its probably only water weight. I know that when I tighten up my eating, within 3-4 days Im right back down to where I want to be.

Andrea** Ive never done one of Debbies rotations but Ive read through lots of them. She certainly is in good shape, isn't she? Did you see her in the Oxygen mag a couple of yrs back?

Roxie** I also started TTOM a couple of days ago and the weird thing is, the scale didn't go up at all! How weird is that? It is easier to eat clean when the men are gone. Good luck with your goals this time around. Did you ever add more cardio like I suggested?

Well, I got home and my baby was still sleeping. He had been up from 4-6 and as soon as I doozed off, he woke up...just as I suspected. I think he as the cold. He is in a good mood though, just the same. Now I am debating wrapping him up and taking him for a little walk. He loves it outside and it may do him some good. Im not sure how cold it is but its sunny.

Todays workout is going to be interval running. Im hoping to have the energy to pull out a good run. Also glad all those stupid mini eggs are gone...I won't tell you WHERE they went, they are just GONE!;)

A quick Hi,

The Challengers gets my vote.

I did well with eating yesterday except for a little to much natural peanutbutter.

My work out this morning was 4DS KB&Bootcamp premix (about 45min. worth...I woke up late) and KB abs.

Gotta run and get my haircut.

BBL,

Elaine

The Challengers gets my vote too.

Workout was 4DS - Cardio Blast - fun, fun, fun.

Andrea, Don't give up; you can do it! 6 weeks is less daunting. How about trying attainable weekly goals?

Roxie, Your menu looks good. It is definitely easier to eat healthier when DH is gone.

Amelia, ^5 with clean eating! PUB is a goodie, good luck increasing the weights.

Lori, Did you go for a walk w/DS? Enjoy your run!

Elaine, Nice workout; I love natural peanut butter too! Yummy!

Question - Do you ever ask yourself why you have set a specific goal? It really helps to clarify things and get you on the right track. :)

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

Just a quickie check in for me, I'll try to BBL for personals.

I did Imax2, the first premix and coremax 1 today. Cathe cracks me up in CM when she says "Now we will do some quick planks" To which I said, "PLANKS?!?!? WHAT?!?!?" Cathe, as if on cue, "Awww, quit your groanin'!" Love it!

Eating as been good today, however, DH wants to eat at the ice cream place for dinner. UGH! I think they have a grilled chicken salad, if not I will just eat a veggie burger here.

Have a great Wednesday!

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

Andrea,Thanks for your kind words:) WE can do this together;-)i don't really have a set amount of weeks...im just going to challenge myself everyday.Im mean, for me to not stick a donut in my mouth everyday IS a challenge,LOL! so if I can do that, and stick to my deit/workouts...eat my one cheat meal on saturday,I should be fine and the weight should keep coming off! Ive still got around 25-30pds to go!!

Becca-I don't have Coremax, but despertly want it! High fives on your workout!

shirl-Congrats on 4DS cardio blast! Im always asking myself that question you asked earlier....but what it comes down too, to me, is keeping myself consistant with eating and working out and if i have a set goal in mind(even if its just for one day)it helps me to stay focused.LOL,does that make any sense? Im tired;-)

Elaine-How did the haircut go? I need to get mine cut soon! Great job on your workout today!Natural peanut butter can sometimes be my comfort food,LOL

Roxie-Awesome job on your workout! I don't have MM...yet}( i know i will own all of them eventually.TTOTM gains always sneak up on me..like the night before and Im freaking out until i startx(

Lori-Hey...tommorrow will be day four of clean eating so maybe the scale will jump down somemore. so far it has jumped down almost 5pds:eek: in three days! It may take more than a week for me to undo the damage of my emotional,whiny-butt week i had last weekx(

Kath-are you still checking in with us?

Well, that catches me up for now:) gotta go give the kiddos a bath! Everybody have a good night.

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

Afternoon Girls --or wait it's evening LOL!

My day was busy--but that is always good. Keeps me out of trouble.

Today's workout was circuits with GIANT sets for triceps and abs.

I can't wait to run tomorrow-- I guess that makes me a runner LOL.

Becca: Funny you mention meatballs-- I made them last night for DS. He ate the rest for lunch today. Awesome workout :) I love Coremax. :)

Amelia: I never left---should I ? LOL

Andrea: Welcome back-- sounds like you have some great goals set for yourself.

Roxie: Nice workout hon.

Lori: Hope DS is feeling ok. I'm sure you got a killer workout in

Have to flip flop loads of laundry. I may be back. The house is so nice and quiet right now :) :)

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

Good Evening Everyone,

I didn't stick to todays eating plan no am snack and had cheesy baked potatoe soup for lunch. No pm snack was out and about. Supper was a frozen pizza and beer and no workout tonite I have a very sick dog. Took her to vet yesterday because she wasn't eating and was having problems breathing, they said she had upper respitory and GI trouble so they put her on an antibiotic and now she is throwing up and going to the bathroom everywhere so I will spend the nite cleaning carpets. I will workout tomarrow to KM.

Lori- still need to add more cardio that is why I have BM2 coming.

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

Quick Hello!

Becca, I can't believe your little guy's fingers. I can only imagine how bad they looked wheh he first injured them.

Hi everyone else and good night!

RE: Challengers or Challenge Yourself or 6 weekers

Well it's late for posting so I post the personals in the morning since sometimes evening posts go unread.

This morning I woke up at 2 am and couldn't go back to sleep. Finally fell asleep on the couch, but when it was time to get up to work out, I just couldn't. Took the dogs for a short walk though. I'm getting ready to head out the door again for a short walk before bed time with them again so at least I'm getting in some movement.

See everyone in the morning.

Jean

p.s.

I vote for The Challengers too.
