Hi everyone. Hope everything is going well as we head into the weekend. This morning was chest, bi and shoulders from disc 1. Man was I shaking. It was a lot harder than last week. Must have been all the crappy food I ate in between. Today will I will try to stay strong. Yesterday ended up with cookies, so not such a good day.

Andrea, too funny about the rubbing, but I know what you mean. When I bike outside I have to make sure I have on the right length of shorts or else I feel it too.
Roxie, great job on your last set with Push Circuit. Med. Ball abs is good. What did you think of the Stability ball abs? I like the plate and weights one.

Amelia, Elaine and Andrea H. how have you gals been?

Morning

Today is 4DS Back and Biceps then some cardio, I just purchased BM2-i really missed doing this one:D....have a good day:) I will BBL with some personals!

I was disgusted and feeling sorry for myself yesterday...:rolleyes:. I pulled out some of my old food journals from about two years ago and i was shocked to see that im still struggling with the same weight:(

I also noticed a trend, i would go a couple of weeks of eating really good and losing weight( about a 1lb-1.5lbs a week) then for some odd reason i would fall off the wagon for a day or two. This madness has been going on for a while now...it really opened my eyes. If im going to lose this weight then im going to have to be honest with myself....i can't eat perfect and workout for a couple of weeks and think thats all i need to do, this has to be a ongoing, consistent commitment. It may take me over 6 or 7 months of this commitment. I did it before and i can do it agian;).

Workout done! did 4DS back and biceps then i did LIS. I did the older one with risers,its simple and still gets the heart rate up when modified!

Jean-Great job with disc one! I love that shakey feeling...lets me know im working,lol. How are you liking STS so far?

Andrea-hey...i will go on FB soon. Have you tried the spin workout yet? I wish i had room for a spin bike here,i would surely have one,lol. I know what you mean about the rubbing together...:confused:

I really like STS. I completed the 3 month rotation and started over last week. This time I'm doing the 6 month version. I didn't do well fitting in the recommended cardio the first time around so I'm trying to do better with that this time. As for the STS weight portion, it is the first rotation I have ever stuck with. I did see some nice improvement in strength and endurance. I also saw some improvement in definition. I didn't drop the extra pounds I wanted to in part 2 and 3 but that is because I didn't do much cardio and I didn't care what I ate. I'm trying to be more conscious of what I eat, but my sweet tooth and my junk food always gets the better of me. I need to convince my self that food is fuel. I know I can make better choices, but I hate the planning part. Stopping at the drive through it just too easy. Why oh why do we do this to ourselves. We know what to do, but choose the other route.

Good Morning,

This morning I did SJP step only and STS med ball abs. I am watching my 6 month old nephew so later I will do Recharge. Kind of threw a monkey wrench in my plans today wasn't planning on watching him.

Jean-I haven't tried anything but the med ball abs I really like these.

todays workout is 4DS legs then some cardio...i may go for a run interval outside since the weather is so nice!

Jean-thats my biggest problem...is the eating. I know what you mean about convincing yourself that food is for energy. I was just telling my DH last night about how i remember when i was little and i get a scratch or something and the first thing my mom would do is give me some icecream or something to make me feel better,lol. Good Luck on increasing your cardio...

Roxie-Great job on your workout this morning. Enjoy watching your nephew.
 
Hello, Happy Weekend All. Today was 1 hour and 15 minutes jogging and then a 20 minute walk home using Cardio Coach Press Play. HRM says I burned over 1000. Now my body is really achy. I think I got too dehydrated. Probably started out dehydrated from the margaritas I drank last night. I 've been drinking a lot to make up for it.

Edited to say: I'm been drinking a lot of water today (not more margaritas, LOL)

Ladies I am having a real problem figuring out what is good to eat and what isn't. I have been eating sandwichs for lunch but I need something besides chips to eat with them. Trying to lose wt and eat correctly is so hard.
 
Workout done ealier, 4DS legs then i did a powerwalk at an incline on the treadmill for about 30mins...

Roxie-I usually have leftovers for lunch. How about some fruit instead of chips? I have to admit that i love those sourcream and chedder baked lays:eek: . Last week i was trying to figure out what to eat,i too need some new ideas. Here is an example of a typical day for me.....anybody else wanna chime in:D

meal #1 100% Whole wheat breakfast sandwich(1egg,two turkey sausage patties),coffee
Meal#2 fiber one bar
Meal#3 Leftover taco meat(93%lean)in a whole wheat pita topped w/veggies
Meal#4 greek yogurt , 1tbs npb with 6 ww crackers
meal#5 pita pizza topped w/veggies, cantaloupe
 
Things that go well with a sandwich; small salad w/dressing on the side, or fresh veggies like baby carrots, broccoli, sliced bell peppers, or fruit, maybe low fat yogurt or low fat cottage cheese.
 
Good Morning,

Today is a rest day but I will probably do a stretch. Because I was babysitting and puppy sitting I didn't make it to the grocery store so that is my goal today. I did buy a watermelon yesterday this time of year that is my addiction alon with cantaloupe and cucumbers. Everyone says to eat these in moderation this is where I get confused I thought those were good things to eat.

Jean-thank you for your suggestions. I don't like cottage cheese because I know it is curddled milk.
