Central Californians out there?????

Hi there,

Just wondering if there are any fellow Central Californians out there. I live in Fresno Calif. ( Clovis really...) and wonder if there is ANYONE out there who is from this part of the world?

I'm up here in Squaw Valley!! Yea!!! We might be the only Cathe fans around here. Nice to "meet" ya.

Hey I live in Walnut Creek (next to Concord about 30 minutes east of Oakland). Nice to hear there are other CA people out there. There must be more. Isn't Cathe the greatest? I can't believe that more people don't know about her. Actually I enjoy it though, it is kind of like my little secret :)

Hi Deb!!!I'm not from CA but my husband is from Modesto. I travel there 1-3 times a year and love it (better whether than Chicago).

Oh My! Squaw Valley?! I am in Truckee!! I guess there is someone closer to us than Clovis. Though I do have an old aquaintance from high school here that moved to Clovis. I just had no idea there was anyone closer that the Mississippi who was a Cathe fan. Nice to "meet" you too!:)
 
My husband & I grew up in Fresno and lived in the Sacramento area for several years. I don't miss the heat!

I think there's a bit of confusion above. There's a Squaw Valley in cental California (isn't it near Pine Flat Dam?). In contrast to the Squaw Valley ski resort near Truckee at Lake Tahoe. So Wild Pony, where are you?

I had no idea, other than Idaho, that there was another Squaw Valley. How funny! I need to come off the mountain top a little more evidentaly:)
 
Well even though it is fun to watch the occasional jaw drop when I say, "I live on a 40 acre ranch in Squaw Valley" the fact is that my Squaw Valley is the former rather than the latter. ;) Although I think it's quite beautiful in my valley too. :)

Hi there!!

I am feeling less lonely now that I have heard where some of you live. I am a singer in a Big Band and just had gigs in Modesto and Visalia. My husband is with the Tulare County Symphony and drives to Visalia almost weekly. Thanks gals for closing the geographical gap! I guess I am in shock that Cathe isn't MORE popular out here on the West coast.

Your right about the heat Debra....it is between 98 and 1oo degrees all month. There is nothing like the evenings here though....kinda tropical feeling with a cool breeze and no humidity..I charish those.

My inlaws live in San Jose ( they used to live in Los Gatos). My sister in-law had a girlfriend named Sabine once. Very unusual name. I am still surprised at how few people here know about Cathe's workouts....or, how about how little we see or read about her in fitness magazines. Kinda strange if you ask me. Makes me wonder if the fitness community at large is really jealous or threatened by Cathe. Deb
