okay, i just looked at one of the girls pictures on this web site and she looks fabulous. I have been working out for yrs now, around 4yrs but more serious the last two. i still have too much cellulite under my butt and on the sides of my thighs. will i ever get rid of it? i mean this is depressing. i have been running 2-3x week and doing bootcamp classes 2x week. so i am lifting wts 2-3xweek which includes squats, lunges etc.... and i have gotten some lifting in the glutes but still have alot of cellulite showing and ruining me wanting to show my lifted bottom. i have gotten more sculpted but why cant i get rid of this crap;. yes my diet isnt the best but with all the exercise i am doing wouldnt i reap some cellulite going away? some of you girls look great and i would love my lower body to look like yours. any tips and advice that you follow yourselves would more than be welcomed here. what do you follow as far as a p;rogram for exercise and eating to help rid that area of mush. i also started adding p;ilates hips and buns tape last week so i am hoping this will help; too. i want to get in great butt and thigh shape for summer. its bad when the rest of your body looks p;retty good but you dont want to turn around because your butt embarrasses you. please help. laura

there is so much conflict about getting rid of it. everything from creams to that procedure where they roll this thing over your thighs. i still have some cellulite myself. i do a lot of weight training and cardio and yoga. my diet isn't perfect ALL the time but most of the time i am eating whole foods and watching my portions.i drink TONS of water.

i have noticed that when i starting running twice a week(6 miles each) that my thighs were a little better but my butt wasn't. i just think its one of those things we deal with. maybe someone else has an idea on what to do. after trying everything i just learn to live with it. nobody but hubby sees my butt anyway and as long as he doesn't have a problem then i shouldn't either.

Yes. This is the ongoing debate and causes such anghst on us woman. I'm really convinced that we can make it better but it just won't go away even if we eat great, drink water, workout.

I've been through a lot more serious health issues so now to me it's just something I need to accept. When I was younger I viewed that attitude defeatest, but I think what I need is to accept it.

Sure this sounds depresssing but I think it's reality.

Agree Kassia, who really sees it! I look good in clothes and that is how most people see me.

I dont usually worry about it either except for when i am in a bathing suit or shopping and seeing myself in those store mirrors. YIKES!!! I went shopping friday and i never feel bad excep;t for when i see myself in those mirrors. I see things i never knew was there before. its depressing. I do however feel like i look half way decent in clothes. thank god for clothes ! laura

i here ya laura it happens to me in dressing rooms too. i try not to let it bother me. its lighting and camera angles that you don't see some celeb celulite. some of those gossip mags will put out issues where they catch celebs on the beach or what not with their cellulite all hanging out. puts things in perspective that these folks we say are beautiful and perfect have the same issues we do.

honestly i never heard one complaint about my cellulite at the pool. if anybody is saying anythign they are keeping their comments to themselves b/c i usually get complements or pigs just hooting and hollering at me.

You know, when you know what cellulite is for and why you have it, it really isn't so bad. It isn't just fat, it is "food stores" for pregnancy so that you and baby don't starve. I really didn't have much until I had kids. I know, it isn't pretty! But everyone has it, except for the few genetic freaks, so I am not bothered by it anymore. I would rather have it in my boobs, though! :+ I need something up there!

Laura, I feel your pain - it's my life story. I'm gonna try the freestyle workouts soon to see if that helps. I figure most people are fit at all and I should be down right proud that I am so fit and that I care about my body's health. No huge insight here, just know you're not alone!
