Are Cathe's step tapes considered aerobic?. I have lots of strength tapes and strenth with cardio.I am concerned I want to make sure I am getting enough cardio. The only pure cardio tape I have is Maximum Intensity cardio.Any help would be appreiciated.
Thanks Debra

Hi Debra:
You betcha Cathe's step tapes are considered aerobic, if you already have MIC (the mother of all Cathe Cardio IMHO) then you have a great sense of what is in store when you order more Cathe step tapes. IMAX and IMAX-2 will definitely have your heart rate in the training zone and pushin' that anaerobic threshold. Step Blast is just that, a blast in all senses of the word. Check out the video clips, dust off the credit card and get ready to work hard, get that heart a thumpin' and have a "good old time" (as Cathe would say).
:)
Hope this helps
Take Care

Hi Laurie, thanks that helps alot. I have Imax 2 reviewed it, haven't done it yet. I also have boot camp, step blast, KICK PUNCH AND CRUNCH, CARDIO AND WEIGHTS, ALL STEP, CARDIO KICKS, MIC, MIS,RYTHMIC STEP, LEGS AND GLUTES MUSLE ENDURANCE AND A FEW OTHERS, so I already dusted off the ole credit card, LOL.

How long have you been doing Cathe tapes?, she is the best, I went from the firm to Cathe, and IMO, she is much tougher, but I still like the firm.

Please tell me the steps in step blast and step pump and jump will get easier. I have tried step blast once, and I was upset, but I remember thinking on the firm moves will I ever get this and now I have them all memorized.
You have been very helpful thank you.

Debra

I've been doing Cathe's tapes for about 10 years. If you did well on MIC, that is so great! Yes you will learn Step Blast and Step, Pump and Jump, just give it time. Cathe really is alot better than the Firm. Cardio & Weights and Rhythmic Step are also very fun. And Imax1 and Imax2....some of my favorites...Good Luck...:)...Carole

Hey Debra:
Wow! From your list it looks like you got the best of the best. Some of the older tapes (Step Max, Step Heat, Step Jam) are kinder if choreography is a challenge but with practice they ALL get easier.
Try not to get upset, you WILL get it and when you do it's such a great feeling. I really think that the brain work of trying to understand the patterns is beneficial, gotta keep these aging brains nimble :) Try to wrap your head (and feet) around the choreography one section at a time and then pop in a tape or DVD your more comfortable with to finish your workout.
I've been doing Cathe about 3 years, prior to Cathe I did mostly Charlene Prickett. We don't get alot of Firm stuff up here in Canada so I've never done any Firm cardio, just strength stuff.
Keep pluggin' away Debra, it's worth every step! :)

Laurie

Thanks Laurie and Carol,
that is so true, when a step is mastered not a better feeling. When I was doing the firm I thought I would never learn, but they are easy now, but Cathe's tapes are a much better work out IMP, and I am up for the challenge ladies.

Thanks both of you have a great evening.

Debbie
