I did Imax 2 and SM1 today! So all caught up!

I'm going to try and do PUB and the run tomorrow as Tuesday and Wednesday are busy days and I might have to skip a a workout one of those days.Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Kim

Hi, Kim. I moved my rest day to today. Sundays are FILLED with football for me and my boys, so I enjoyed it today, although I sat in the COOOOOOOOLD air all day!

I'm planning on doing today's workout tomorrow....Core Max and Stretch Max. I'm toying with the idea of hitting the YMCA for the elliptical for just a bit tomorrow to add a little cardio to the day. We'll see.

Have a GREAT evening!

Gayle

Morning Ladies,

Today is a rest day for me, and I'm glad of it. I think my calf muscles are still sore from GS Legs. That one really works the calf muscles good.

Have a great day!

Laurie

I ended up having a rest day Monday, the kids weren't feeling well and I was tired. This morning I did the 20 min run and PUB abs before work this evening I will do PUB after taking dd to piano lessons. Hope everyone enjoyed their rest day! Time to get back to work! Kim

Hi! I ended up taking yesterday as a rest day as well. My DS's 6th Birthday is today and we had his party yesterday for his friends. So I couldn't squeeze anything in anywhere. BUT......got up early this morning for the 20 minute run and PUB (skipped the abs because I was short on time). I figured I'd rather skip the abs than anything else, as I can fit them in later today or tack them on tomorrow!

Gotta run right now. I'm REALLY enjoying our small check-in group. Thanks for sticking it out with me!

Gayle

Hi everyone,
I did coremax yesterday and that was it. today I have a terrible sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing and headache--Yuck! I was JUST saying yesterday, I kid you not, that it's been well over a year since I've had any kind of cold or anything. Then late yesterday afternoon my throat starting hurting and then I just went down hill. Enjoy your workouts! I don't think I'll be doing any today :-(

Ashley

Hope you're feeling better soon Ashley!

I got up early and did "stepWorks". I was feeling tired and not concentrating as so much going on today, a few times I caught myself not doing the steps just standing and watching Cathe. Never really got into it but went through the motions. I'm good and sweaty anyways.

Mky sister had a baby yesterday! I'm so excited I'm going to stop by and see hime later today. My sister who is about 4'11" had a 9lb 2 oz baby boy. LOL Poor thing, she had a csection after a trial of labour. Kim

Morning Ladies,

Today for me will also be StepWorks. I have not done this workout in a loooong time. Guess it is time to mix things up a bit. }(

Kim, Congrats on being an Aunt. My sister recently had a baby boy too.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Kim-CONGRATS to your sister!!!!!!!!! And to you, Aunt!

Laurie-enjoy Step Works!!!!

Step Works was FUN this morning. And tough! ANd FUN! All sweaty when I was done and I always love that!

Keep up the good work, ladies!

Gayle

Morning ladies. I was away for a few days so haven't checked in.
Friday - Did GS Chest & Triceps and 1st 3 intervals and w/up and CD of IMAX 2. From Friday to Sunday, I was at a line dance weekend. I definitely got my cardio in (almost 24 hours worth of dancing!) Monday was a rest day. Yesterday, did Pyramid Upper Body. Full pyramid for Chest & Back and pyramid up only for shoulders, bis and tris. Today instead of Step Works I did Pam Cosmi's Steppin' in Rhythm. (I have to start doing all the new workouts I bought.) This workout is definitely not for the choreographically challenged. I usually do Christy and Patrick but I found Pam even tougher. She doesn't break down the moves at all so if you ever do it, I would definitely recommend watching it first and only doing it on a 6" step.

Have a great day, ladies!

Marcy

Hi everybody. It's Thursday morning and time for another good workout.

I was up extra early for PLB today. Question for you ladies....I'm getting to the point where I can increase the weight on the barbell again. But, I'm afraid it'll be too hard to lift up and over my head. What do I do now???? Curious. Never thought I'd "outgrow" PLB! LOL

Have an AWESOME DAY! I'm headed into the Kindergarten class (my regular Thursday schedule), and this is my favorite time of the entire week!

Gayle

Morning Ladies,

I am on the PLB schedule also.

Gayle, I remember someone (I believe it was Carole) who used a weighted vest, so that she didn't have to lift the heavy weight over her head. That is the only thing I can remember.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hi everyone. Did PLB today too. Did Pyramid Up only for leg presses and lunges. Went up to 40# on the leg presses. Did full pyramid for squats, plie squats and deadlifts. Those calf raises always make me burn. Didn't have time to do abs. Will have to fit them in tomorrow.

Have a great day!

Marcy

HAPPY FRIDAY, everybody.

Marcy-how hard wad the 40 lb barbell to get over your head/shoulders? I'm about to hit 40 on the heaviest on PLB, but I'm a bit afraid of hurting my shoulders! Perhaps I'm just looking for an excuse to buy a squat rack! LOL

OK.....I was up early for MIC. I haven't done this one in a LONNNNNNNG time. I dreaded it just a bit, because I remember how hard it was to get through. BUT GUESS WHAT!!!!!! I got all the way through it without gasping for air! It was easier than I remember it being! I LOVE PROGRESS!

Have you ladies been able to view the Drill Max clip yet? I've got an older computer, so I'm having some problems with skipping and freezing, but I've gotten a really good idea how the workout will be!

Gayle

Marcy- WTG on the 40 lb barbell! I don't have a barbell so use dumbbells and and I do use 2 20 lbs dumbbells.

I took another rest day yesterday;) It wasn't planned just such a busy week with work, volunteer meetings in the evenings, going up to the hospital, I had my sister's 3 yr old here yesterday evening as she is still in the hospital (c-section) and her husband had to go back to work. He wanted to go see his mommy and my kids are so excited about their new newphew I ended up taking them all back to the hospital for most of the evening when I was supposed to be working out. So now I'm a day behind again and looking at the schedule I'm not sure when I'll catch up but I'll just keep plowing ahead. So it's PLB and abs for me today. Kim

Morning Ladies,

Another MIC workout diva here. I am always afraid of this workout, so when I'm finished I feel really good. Should be a good night for me to workout. DD's are suppose to be going to my SIL tonight. :) I like having time to myself every now and then.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Thanks Gayle and Cab. I actually didn't mean to use 40#. Didn't realize what I had on the bar. Today's my rest day. I was awakened last night to find out my Dad had a heart attack. If everyone could pray for him, I'd appreciate it. He's resting comfortably now and they have to do an arteriogram later today. I am on my way to the hospital. I hope he's going to be okay. He must have nine lives because I think this is his 6th heart attack already and he keeps pulling through. Thanks again for all your support ladies. This forum is the greatest.

Hope all of you have a great day!

Marcy

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad Marcy. I hope everything is okay. I'll keep him in my prayers.

I did MIC and abs today. I'm a day behind so should have done PLB but it's been a stressful week full of way too many meetings and I was just craving some cardio. I figure I can do PLB Sat and Monday and PUB/run Sunday and be all back on track.

Hope everyone has a good weekend! we're off to Boo at the Zoo tonight. It's a halloween event at the zoo. It's a blast. we always take the kids. Kim

Saturday morning!

Oh, Marcy. Of course, you and your dad are in my prayers. Take care of yourself!!!! As for PLB, tomorrow when I do this workout, I'm going to bump the barbell up to max out at 40 lbs. I've been maxing at 35, because I've been a bit worried about hoisting that puppy up and over! LOL. BUT....with your motivation, tomorrow's the day.

Kim-Great job on MIC. Enjoy the zoo. A zoo around us does the same thing, perhaps I'll have to take my boys (if football ever ends, lol).

I was up early today because I can't see any other time to fit in my workout. I did PUB followed by a 40+ minute run, over 4.5 miles. Cathe prescribed 20 minutes, but my boys were occupied upstairs and I was feeling great, so RUN I DID! LOL

Did you see the shipping update on the new workouts? I'm not sure how it will affect my following this rotation for the last week of October, but we'll see! I'm just dying to try out the new stuff!

Have an awesome Saturday, ladies!
